613536 tn?1294238447 Well just about any casserole (tuna noodle). You can make fajita stuff (bell peppers and chicken with seasoning) that you can easily thaw and add to tortillas with cheese. You could also make chicken and noodles (the egg noodles). Frozen pizzas are good, whether pre-packaged or homemade.

Avatar m tn You mention eating burgers (is that with roll) and spaghetti and chicken noodle soup (they contain gluten?). Are you sticking with the diet 100% without fail or are you cheating sometimes? Or were you referring to stuff that you ate before you started the gluten free diet? This diet must be adhered to without fail to see if it helps. That includes gluten free vitamins and gluten free medications.

Maybe something with chicken, yummy :) but an all day kinda thing so it slow cooks for hours and makes the house smell yummy. Anyone have an recipes or anything? I know, not pregnancy related but I'm having trouble finding something. Also, maybe not super expensive either.

7732297 tn?1397446837 Im craving chicken broth, is that weird?
Avatar f tn I understand! My 3 year okd son and I live "noodle soup" as he calls it. This is just what I do to make myself feel better about it being healthy. I used filtered water for the broth, add organic Miso paste, non gmo soy sauce, and frozen organic veggies usually just peas, corn, green beans etc, sometimes curry powder to the noodles and I don't put the flavor packet that it comes with. That is all that really is crucial to avoid.
Avatar n tn We have come up with recipes for cookies, pancakes, spaghetti sauce, chili, banana bread, etc. We also do tacos with corn tortillas and sometimes have 'beanie tacos' (that my kids really like) where we put refried beans, onions, and sauce on the corn tortillas. Rice Chex and Honey Nut Chex work well for cereals. Does any of that sound like it would work for your family?
1041839 tn?1278681846 Does anybody have any great recipes that freeze well? I know there are casseroles and such out there but i dont know which ones. I dont normally freeze stuff. I cook everyday, unless its a bad pain day and then we do sandwiches or hubby cooks. So now i'm trying to find some things that i can make now and freeze, so there is plenty to eat while i'm recovering without hubby having to cook everyday. Any and all suggestions are welcome!
Avatar f tn I thought I was the only craving A1 sauce ha,that's crazy, but I'll eat it with bread and I'm in heaven
304653 tn?1217001302 Oh sweetie! you poor thing... Im in the (sort of) same situation... i'll be having my parents here... thankfully they cook! but! my mother is a 'spender'! and she would go out and spend so much damn money on food it's not even funny! we always end up in debt when they leave! hence, we are hurting for money right now...., plus paying for my mom's hospital bill has been a huge dent on our economy too!... i mean, it was all timing!
9440890 tn?1415878121 Sesame ginger marinated steak, Asian style broccoli & wild mushroom rice!
Avatar f tn I went on the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast). What about broth like chicken noodle soup, you eat the broth? Smoothie? If you are recovering, start back on food slowly. Most important thing is hydration. Drink a lot of fluids. Food can come back slowly and we are fine. But we have to stay hydrated. Go with bland.
