As a land lord he is required to make sure the home is suitable for living. Saying a little prayer for you dear.

Avatar m tn I was off for 8 days! I fell, I feel horrible about it but I am ready to climb that mountain again - and stay there. I guess a question I have for now is If i cleaned my body for those 8 days, then went on like a 8 day binge so to speak will I still have the W/Ds as severe as last time? I can't believe I fell but I did. I want my life back and I am going to take it back. Just curious if I should expect the same physical deal I did when I stopped Dec 1, then I had not been clean for years.

Avatar m tn Hi I had a question about the length of time I should be expecting to be withdrawing from suboxone. A little history: I was on suboxone 16mg/day for about 6 mos, then I dropped down to about 8mg/day for about 2 weeks, then I dropped down to 4mg/day for about a week then stopped cold turkey 2 days ago. Can I possibly estimate how bad the worst of the withdrawals will last?
Avatar n tn (I take about that much as needed) so if you do decide to go cold turkey yu shouldnt suffer much and then it will be over with. I get maybe 3 days or so of a llittle upset stomach (immodium takes care of that) some hot and cold flashes (usually on day 2 or 3) and anxiety but that too fades within a week. Just kind of a flu for less than a week. If you can get past that and get rid of your pills you should be fine. Good luck.
Avatar f tn I drank a lot of cold water and a few sips of mountain dew in the waiting room.. she was moving so much that the ultrasound tech almost missed it..
Avatar f tn seI have an awesome med/natural free way of beating a cold and shortening the length of it ! First I like to have multiple showers or baths with lots of steam and adding Eucalyptus and lavender oils to help ease congestion and sinus pain . The lavender helps you sleep. I also add the same oils to vasoline to make a natural homemade "vicks" rub. I rub this on feet and chest! Works nice hot sore muscles to. Drink lots of fluids is a definite proven render!
Avatar m tn I have had 3 little bumps on my lip which never really became cold sores they went away, but one is just a white mark under the skin on my lip it seems like it wont go away.-. Is it considered a cold sore? Will my bottom lip be constantly contagious? Also i get outbreaks on my penis no pain just really annoying seeing them. What is the best way to medicate? How often will my penis break out because penis seems to get most the symptoms.

Avatar n tn Hey everyone, First of all, I was addicted to Oxycontin for over a year, then went to an addiction specialist for suboxone. I have been on Suboxone for two years now, and I just finally quit cold turkey after tapering from 24mg a day to 2mg over those two years. I'm on day 4 of no suboxone and am taking clonazepam for sleep and anxiety, but the withdrawals are still very bad. Not as bad as when I went through Oxy withdrawals, but the restless legs, hot and cold sweats, shakes, etc.
Avatar m tn After mountain biking in the countryside I get a sore throat, I can taste metallic or blood in the mouth, but there is no blood there. I don't get this walking, even walking up a mountain, just cycling. When on the bike my nose starts running especially now during winter, when sat at home, it feels like mucus going to my lungs making me have chesty cough. I told the doctor about it two years ago, I told them I feel faint after going up hill.
Avatar m tn s not a 20 a pill day habit like I had! lol I quit cold turkey and managed to do it thru work. It was really tuff, but I did it. You will probalby feel bad for 3 or 4 days. Maybe not that long. Everyone is different. I would drink lots of water, and eat right. Get some immodium for the upset belly. They say gatoraide helps, and vitamins. You can do this...your habit, isn't all that bad. Not to say your problem is little...

938718 tn?1323783514 So we went for our regular OB appointment and the OB said that the femur length was "marginally" short in proportion, so they're sending me for a repeat u/s in 3 weeks. I looked it up online and it appears to be a marker for downs. I'm freaking out. Why would the OB wait 3 weeks to re-measure? On top of that, my dad was admitted to ICU with pulmonary edema. I've been up since 4am and can't sleep. Oh yeah, and I think I'm coming down with a cold.
Avatar f tn First he had weakness, and he was cold, and He started getting nauseous. The next day he had a fever of 103.1 (that was the highest it ever got to) . He threw up twice, and he said he had abdominal pain from heaving. He went to the doctor and they didnt know what it was. They told him to go to the hospital if it kept on. He started feeling better the next day (his fever broke and he felt fine). Then later that day his fever went back up a little bit and he felt worse. He threw up again.
Avatar n tn My wife has COPD and we live in florida, cold weather seems to worsen her condition yet living in this area withouth aird conditioning is impossible. We come from New England and the cold weather there also bothers her terribly. Is there any specific thing we can do including relocation to help her condition? When the air conditioner is on I can get the humidity down to 40% at 71 degrees, but when she steps outside into the 90 degree 70% humidity or vise versa she has a most difficult time.
Avatar f tn Well, I did what ya'll said. I walked the length of the driveway. (that's a lot) The cold air blasted my *** off the couch! I should have done that earlier. I put a load of wash in and ran the dishwasher. I took a couple of Excedrin. That probably didn't hurt anything. I know I have to keep moving no matter what. But it sure is hard when you hurt. But I hurt with the pills.
