cold jordan

I have and I am much more positive than ever! He is too! My question. Jordan keeps his room soooo cold. He says he does not feel the cold but he does feel heat and he says it is miserable. I am really trying to understand. He steps out into the cold often because he says the pains are better. Stinging, stiffness, weakness. Does this make sense? I think he would sleep in a freezer if we let him although his room isn't far off.lol! Thanks!

Hello my name is jordan and im 15 and im just here to tell you that any time i take a "deep" breath i get a pain in the middle of my chest yet it feels like its in my back. I play basketball and after i got done running i could hardley breath and the pain was defiently there. Do you have any idea what this could be??

Thanks to all that helped with that suggestion. A drink of cold water or warm drink does help. Jordan has been advised by both Neuros to skip the flu vaccine this year (scares me to death) but can't rule out that it wasn't triggered by vaccine or the EBV+ dx. Jordan has not been sick with a cold or flu in 2 years. Am I to assume that if he does get the flu or get a virus, he will become more sick than most?

I call him and returns my call promptly and either talks to me or sees Jordan within a few hours. I really think he is puzzled by Jordan but I also think he truly cares. He is very quirky but he and Jordan have a great relationship. We try to understand him (hard sometimes lol!) but Jordan gets him. I agree with checking into Lyme. We also want to check into protein/vitamin deficiencies. Neuro says he will call on Monday and we are going to ask him to recommend a dr.

Took Jordan to Neuro appointment this week and told him about the melt downs Jordan is having and the pain, numbness and tingling. Switched him from Gaba to Lyrica. We shall see. Said we would try for 2 weeks and then move on to something else if it doesn't work. The funny part. I know this Neuro is an odd duck but he is smart and he is wonderful with Jordan and he keeps looking and consulting with others.

He also prescribed a couple of funny movies (Hitchhikers Guide..., The Onion-horoscope and MP3.com???-last time was Monte Python and the Holy Grail!hee hee) and websites for Jordan-yep, on prescription pad!LOL!

Take Jordan back to his doctor. Jordan needs to explain to the doctor that he needs modifications to his educational program due to his health. After the doctor writes a letter to the school take it in hand, along with a written request for an IEP meeting as soon as possible. Look up the laws in your state for how long they have to meet the request (It has been too long for me to give you the amount of days). While waiting have Jordon (on his own) write what modifications he needs.
