Avatar m tn So I went to the dermotologist and he says that I have Cutis Marmorata (or marble skin) which is from poor circulation and blood flow which may be cause by a blood disorder, vitamin deficiency or lyme lupus etc. He is running every blood test under the sun. I definitely have been noticing tingling and swelling in hands and feet. I'm really nervous about what this could mean! Any idea or experience with this diagnosis.
Avatar f tn In the past 5 years I have experienced a substantial amount of hair loss and poor circulation in my fingers and toes. I have had blood test done several times and all levels are always normal. Any suggestions as to the cause of this or prevention?
Avatar f tn Hi, I had a mystery virus 3 years ago that was very intense with high fever, chills, tonsil stuff, etc...then had tingling and burning feelings in my feet and hands along with weakness...it all went away after a few weeks...it wasn't strep, mono or the flu...now the tingling, buzzing feelings, burning feelings, weakness, etc...are back!!! they've been back for like 3-4 weeks now and not to mention I'm always tired throughout the day...
Avatar n tn I dont know it to be a symptom of bulemia, but purple feet are a sign of poor circulation are her feet cold to the touch, are her hands and nose also cold or discolored?does she have tingling or numbness in feet or hands? Avatar f tn Sounds like you have Reynaud's syndrome. It is caused by poor circulation - my daughter's hands and feet turn blue when she gets cold and she was told to try to keep them warm at all times. I haven't heard of a cure, sorry. But perhaps taking Cod liver oil and Fish oil supplements will help as they thin the blood and make circulation easier and faster.
Avatar f tn That is weird u dont even notice when it happens. I have poor circulation in my hands and feet but they get cold. Sry no suggestions but u could probably ask ur dr if its concerning.
Avatar m tn I have been observing poor circulation in the palm of my hands when i keep my hands to the sides. My hands appear with red and white dots. When I lift them over my head they get to normal. I got MRI for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, got doppler done on artery study and everything was fine. One issue I have is ulnar nerve entrapment at the wrist but have not undergone any tests for that. It's just my ortho's guess. Could someone let me know what could be the reason for splotchy appearance?

6938807 tn?1395163288 could be poor circulation. they have feet warmers that is like a heating pad but you can out your feet in. my feet stay cold alot. but nirmally after i get warm they will warm up. if it keeps up might check with your doctor.
Avatar f tn If you were saying that it was just your legs I would think that it is restless leg syndrome but since you said it is your hands too I would think that you have poor circulation. I would talk to your doctor about it, poor circulation isn't something that you want to ignore.
Avatar n tn im always feeling weakness in my body... and my foots and hands are always cold... and feeling totally unconformable... please suggest me any good treatment...
Avatar f tn Oh my goodness yes My feet and hands get cold but I can usually get my hands warm but my feet are another story - the other day I had on socks - thick fuzzy slipper socks and slippers - the bootie kind and my feet were still freezing - I like Kyle take a long time to warm them up!
Avatar n tn hands and feet go dark purple, cold with a cap refill rate of 7-10 seconds. Her entire body will get mottled. Today when it happened her capillary refill rate, measured on her chest was 6 seconds. So when we saw the pediatrician, he looked at a photo I took, asked if she was growing well etc... and then said: "Oh, she has Raynaud's Syndrome and just a Primary Vascular Phenomenon. She overreacts to cold. She'll grow out of it." (daughter is 2.5).
Avatar n tn That is why the doctor will check your feet and should ask about tingling in your hands or feet because that could signal that there is an issue with circulation. I think you should make sure there are no other things causing this problem. For example if you smoke it will increase poor circulation.
Avatar f tn Usually, a person has to wean down (take 1/2 pill for so many days before stopping). Your hands are purple because of poor blood circulation due to low blood pressure, most likely. I know elderly people on heart medication who have the same symptoms.
Avatar m tn Well you may just have a lower blood pressure and this can cause the cold hands and feet. You might have poor blood circulation, i suggest seeing your doctor.
382218 tn?1341181487 Mine seems to be set off by cold - my hands have always been cold, but lately they get cold and there's no circulation. The tips of my fingers have no blood, which is a little creepy. I'll tell you something weird - right before I had that blood clot in my right leg, I had gotten out of the shower earlier that day, and noticed that my leg was pale and looked like it was bloodless.
Avatar f tn I think it may be tied to poor circulation, past sunburns or just irritated skin. My legs fall asleep extremely easy which is another sign of poor circulation but I'm still not convinced. It's mainly just blotches until my muscles encounter stress, and then it becomes a more solid form (my entire face will be red instead of just my cheek, nose and chin). So does anyone know what this might be or what I should do until I can see a doctor? Could it be rosacea?
1302779 tn?1287405029 I doubt very much those two meds would cause your hands to be cold. Sometimes as we get older, our circulation isn't what it was and that can result in cold hands and feet. If you feel this has only presented itself since you bagan the meds though, I would definitely discuss it with your doctor to rule out an organic problem. I'm sure you're fine. Keep us posted! Peace Greenlydia........older than you wearing two pair of socks and mittens!
Avatar n tn Sounds like you have poor circulation in your legs. It could be any number of things though. I would have it checked out by your doctor. What seems to help? Do you have any other problems such as back pain or arthritis?
Avatar f tn Ever since about 16 years of age I can awake with tingling in my fingers and toes. The health care professionals explain it as poor circulation. This morning I awoke with a blue thumb and I have exercised all the blue out of it and now it is the right colour again. Do you have any tips as to how I could avoid this in future. This use to only occur when I was stressed and only ever awake with this problem for a few minutes however the tingling happens throughout the day now.
Avatar n tn I've been diagnosed with Raynaud's and get cold feet/legs, cold hands, and cold nose. Even my ears get bright red at times, but not sure if that is from Raynauds. I have a very lacy looking patter in my legs and doc says that is classic Raynauds. I never really noticed color changes so much, but mine is wide spread so it's not as easy to tell. I've also noticed that the cramps I get in my feet and calfs are worse when my legs/feet are cold.
Avatar m tn It seems blood is pooling in my hands due to poor circulation. Any further thoughts on this?
