Avatar f tn Yes that is lyme. The longer you wait to treat the worse your symptoms will get. I waited over 20 years misdiagnosed and now the lyme is affecting major organs.
Avatar f tn Ever since I got pregnant my hands have been really cold I know it's cold outside but i'v never had this problem before.
Avatar f tn My hands always feel cold after i take allergy medication. Does this happen to anyone else? And why does it do that?
1302779 tn?1287405029 This can often result in one having cold hands, or just being cold in general. Many people attribute things to just getting older when it's actually their thyroid causing the problem. Age can cause these symptoms but it wouldn't hurt to rule out any thyroid issues. My kids make fun of me for my knee socks because my feet are always cold, and I'm older than you. I always wondered when I was younger why older women always had a sweater on when it was warm outside......now I know.

3079363 tn?1363273715 Other symptoms may include headaches, a loss of the ability to feel extremes of hot or cold (especially in the hands), and loss of bladder and other functions. Each individual experiences a different combination of symptoms depending on where in the spinal cord the syrinx forms and how far it extends. Signs of the disorder tend to develop slowly, although sudden onset may occur with coughing or straining.
Avatar m tn Hello. This is my first post & I'll do my best to make it brief. Over 7 weeks I took 68 Suboxone pills starting at 12 mgs daily. Shortly later to to 10 mg, then 8 for about 3 weeks then I began to have bad effects, either an allergic reaction or i was overdosing. the Symptoms were very tight chest, times that I couldn't breathe & swelling of my throat to the point I thought it might close.
Avatar f tn Symptoms include migraines, pressure in head, pressure in and ringing in ears, numbness/tingling in face and hands, pain in legs and feet, easily fatigued, and lack of concentration/memory. These can range in severity and significantly got worse a few months ago due to high stress in my job. I'm also having bouts of insomnia and notice symptoms are worse on days after not sleeping well.
Avatar f tn I'm from Knoxville TN and I'm due Sept 2 :)
Avatar f tn My feet and hands are always freezing cold and my feet although they are cold, they sweat . I'm always under blankets about three and I have socks on. Do any other pregnant mom's feel like this?
Avatar f tn My hands are almost always very cold and sometimes after that they start to sweat, and sometimes it's the other way around. They start to sweat then get very cold. What could be the reason for that?
709686 tn?1277432159 I think 20mg is the standard dose, to be taken between 1/2 hour and one hour of your major meal of the day. Because of an extreme problem with acid reflux I took as much as 80mg daily for a short amount of time before surgery, but I took 20mg daily for perhaps twenty years with no known side affects. I think if I were you, I'd check with your doctor about the symtom of cold hands after eating sugar, and do so at once, it sounds like a diabetic issue.
Avatar n tn I am writing this for my sister. In the winter she gets extremely cold hands and feet and her fingernails turn purple. She is not normally that cold to touch, as much as she feels cold herself. It actually causes pain. It leaves in the summer but in the winter its pretty bad, socks doesn't help, etc. She is only 21, so I was just wondering everyones take on it. She hasn't went to the doc yet...
Avatar m tn Is their any mommies on here from Knoxville TN I may be moving their after having my baby girl an need mommy friends.
687729 tn?1397992727 I am moving to Knoxville from Michigan and I am addicted to Opana ER. There is only one doctor in Knoxville who prescribes narcotics and Opana isn't helping with my chronic pain, anyway (I have had five back surgeries). I tried detoxing by switching to Dilaudid, taking smaller and smaller doses... Then, an injury in Physical Therapy put me back on my full Opana dosage. I've tried using Kratom for the pain and it keeps me awake. Can the fast-acting Oxymorphone be cut in half?
Avatar m tn There is a DPM in Waynesboro, Virginia - Kevin Murray, who does cryosurgery. Just be forewarned: It is true you will be able to walk out of the office after the procedure with your shoes on. What no one seems to want you to know is, when the anesthetic and freeze wear off, you will probably be in a world of hurt. No amount of OTC med will even cut the severity of the pain. Speaking for myself, I had MN diagnosed by four DPMs, from December 2004 to December 2007.
Avatar f tn When my hands are exposed to the cold they turn red and become swollen, sore and itchy. It's very much like an allergic reaction. In fact, the first time this happened I thought it was a reaction to some soap I had used. I was outside without gloves in 34 degree weather this morning for about 20 minutes. My hands had a reaction after about 10 minutes. I've always had cold hands and feet, but this is only the second time I've had this sort of reaction.
Avatar n tn Whenever I get cold my hands start itching really bad. It only happens to my hands though. I never get it on any other body part and I do not encounter swelling or hives. Is this just a mild case of Cold urticaria or something else?
Avatar m tn ok, it sounds like your hands get chaped from the cold weather. put some warm cloves on or buy some of those packs of hand warmers. then your hands will stay warm and wont turn red. the heat is from your blood circulation warming your hands back up from the cold weather.
1927723 tn?1323033925 This was my first experience with UT hospital & they are wonderful there. I thought Parkwest was the only hospital in Knoxville worth anything. Boy was I wrong! I just left Dr. Bowlings office for my post op appointment & everything is good! He told me about a website where if I want to left my testimony about my ordeal I can. Check it out when you get a chance. Www.vitals.com I hope all goes well! I think you will be very impressed! He is a very young doctor but is very knowledgable.
