I noticed that when I lived in New york when ever I got in the train and the doors closed I felt closed in. I couldn't breathe well and my hands got sweaty. My nails would get dark. My first impulse was to get off that train. When the next stop came I would get up from the chair and walk out. I would sweat like crazy and hear a loud ringing in my ears. I also felt dizzy. I would finally get the courage to get back on another train when the side effects left me.

Seems that there is a cold going around New York now. Starts with a sore throat and then makes you tired and acheu/sore all over. Some people also develop a cough. Seems to last a few days. Anybody else have this one?

I recently had cold sore on my lip. (Nothing new I have been getting them for years) My cold sore healed about a week ago. 3 days ago I noticed a itch on my left thumb. Worried it may be herpes, I covered it with a bandaid. I never put my fingers to my mouth, because of the cold sores, but I had the flu and was coughing. I am pretty good about disinfecting/or washing my hands after coughing, but could I get herpes on my hand this way?

I have recently moved in New York from a much warmer climate. Having never lived through a very cold winter, I hadn't realised that the cold makes me uncontrollably gag. It often occurs in the mornings when I leave home or at night as soon as I leave the office and often goes on for some time. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how have you been able to resolve it? Thanks!
