Cold fusion rc

Common Questions and Answers about Cold fusion rc

cold

Avatar f tn At any rate tooth is still sensitive to hot and cold. I went in to the endo who did the procedure and he touchd the tooth with cold and at the time in his office I did not feel much pain, but at the right angle on the back of this tooth, I will feel cold and its a sharp pain. Just to reassure myself I took a tooth pick and touched up along the top of this tooth around the gum line where the crown meets the gum. I feel pain when I touch the top of that tooth where some exposed dentin is.
Avatar f tn I had a neck fusion in Oct. 2007 as my legs were giving out. I have been left with a right hand that feels like ice on the inside all the time and tingles all the time. Now the top of my right foot is cold for no reason. Just started this week, what should I do?
Avatar n tn Also the endodontist treated me more than one time for infection trying to clear up the problems, with no avail. prior to the 2nd RC. When she went in to do the 2nd RC, she said that it didn't smell like there was an infection present either. During the 1st root canal, I did feel pain one time during the process. The endodontist said that it must have been the end of the root then because I had feeling.
Avatar n tn Feb 2007 i wnt to the dentist because I still new the tooth needed to b fixed, he said either i can pull it or get a root canal done, stupid me choose the rc, THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER HAVING THE RC DONE, THE HEADACHE CAME BACK!!
673754 tn?1226386753 Finally decided i needed a Root Canal. After having the RC done i was happy that the weeks of pain where finally over BUT i started to feel pain/pressure in the tooth next to the one I had just had the RC done on. when i tap or push on the that tooth i feel pressure, pushed at a different angle pain.
Avatar m tn fusion was from T11 to sacrum. It feels like there is a "slab" covering the fused area out to 3 inches either side of the spine. It is not painful. I have lower back pain, mild 24////7. It intensifies to major pain if I stand for more than 5 - 10 minutes. It intensifies with any activity involving any lifting, turning stooping etc. I am able to walk with a cane 1//2 mile, 1////4 mile without. I use a treadmill for longer exercise, but must support myself wiht the arms.
425483 tn?1219015247 I had a root canal in my upper molar about 2 years ago - I just went in to my dentist for a cleaning and because I had been having soreness in the area of the root canal. The X-ray revealed that I have a rather large infection (spread to the sinuses) under the root canal. She says I should have the RC redone, possibly even a bridge or implant - Unfortunately, I don't have insurance so this is not my favorite diagnosis.
Avatar n tn The filling was leaking and I had sensitivity to cold air, sweet. Before removing filling, he did biting and cold tests on tooth and I could not reporduce the pain. Xrays showed no cracks. He sent me to an endo who did tests as well and advised me that I didnt need a RC. So my dentist removed the filling and placed a crown. The crown has a short margin and exposed root on the outside, because of previous gum surgery.
Avatar f tn unfortunately theres not much you can do while pregnant. you can take benedryl for the stuffy nose and itchy throat. thats about it though. nasal issues are common with pregnancy anyway so unfortunately youll be dealing with that allot. benedryl and Tylenol only.
Avatar n tn I just currently started having same complications- had root canal gone bad but Dentist didnt cap it my perio kept telling me and during my last visit the new perio told me i have an slite overbite He also mentioned i needed a cap on RC found a new dentist who told me RC had to be extracted and to tell him in 5 secs and i asked what would he put there -make a long story short went to Oral Surgeon next AM and he asked if i wanted this tooth pulled I dont know why it just couldnt be simple Mola
Avatar f tn Two weeks after the rc, he retreated the tooth(2nd rc). Said he saw nothing suspicious this time. The second part of that 2nd rc was 11 days ago (again, he said it was clean as a whistle- he is baffled by my pain). I started PT for my TMJ and it has improved alot(but hasn't eliminated my tooth pain). I have been taking ibuprofen daily since August.
Avatar m tn I am 34 and the tooth in question is #2 molar with what appears to be two Amalgam fillings that are approx 20yo. The other day it started to become sensitive to hot/cold. Not really pain, but certainly uncomfortable. No problems otherwise. I am very concerned for my tooth and pocket book, but mostly the tooth...lol.. Is there any quick fast tests to determine if this is possibly an easy fix or if this is a real bad deal for me?
Avatar f tn the treatment of listhesis is fixation and not fusion (fusion is the oldest naming maybe still used by some radiologist), SURE your vertebra are fused even if you still have some heaviness in the lower parts of your back.. this is suffucient to have screws at place to say thatthe patient is fused.
Avatar n tn I had a lumbar fusion with screws 1 yr ago. Recently I have experienced some pressure where the screws are and the other day my wife she said I was bruised in the same area as my pain. My question is, since I have not bumped into anything, is if the screws that are inside can cause bruising on the outside?
Avatar f tn Its possible that you may need a root canal. Unfortunately it sounds like the nerve is irritated and at this point, it sounds like its not healing on its own. You should inform your dentist of your symptoms and get it evaluated. You can also go to a specialist (endodontist) to see if you need a root canal. But your general dentist should be able to diagnose it. Are you taking any pain meds besides the motrin?
Avatar n tn I am feeling sensitivity to heat only among the teeth on the upper left side of my mouth and have had no sensitivity to cold. Last week I went to the dentist for a check-up (the heat sensitivity started suddenly the night before---not really pain and not long lasting). She was suspicious of a tooth (#13) but couldn't see any problems in new x-rays or as she probed it. When the heat sensitivity continued, I went back yesterday and she found that I had a cracked filling in #15.
Avatar n tn Good luck with ur fusion surgery!!
Avatar f tn If the decay was close to the nerve, removing it could have gotten it all in an uproar. Or, it may be that you would need a RC on that tooth for the same reason. The decay was just too close to the nerve. Don't wait till your appt on Friday if it starts to get worse. Give your dentist a call. In the meantime you could try doing warm salt water rinses and take ibuprofen if you can. It's an antiinflammatory and will help if it's from trauma of the area. Good luck.
Avatar n tn I did read that gingers, like green onion, garlic, Sichuan pepper, pepper and chili, are considered hot ingredients and harmful to people with diseases hot in nature, of which hepatitis is one. Other "hot" diseases include common cold, dysentery, psychosis, diabetes, cancer, nephritis, rheumatism, wintercough, high blood pressure, etc. As for vitamins, they need to come from vegetables/fruits, not from labs.
Avatar f tn I had ACDF with a titanium plate at C5-C6 and I swear that when it is really cold outside that I can feel the coldness of the actual titanium plate. Is this actually possible and does anyone else experience this? It is not painful, just noticible.
Avatar n tn I have root canals and crowns on my two front teeth. The RC on one was done about 15 years ago and have had no problems with it. The other RC was done a couple of years ago because of sensitivity and some indication of minor root decay due to old trauma (probably when I broke the other front tooth.) I still have a pressure feeling in the newer RC tooth. I also have intermittent recession of the gums on both teeth.
Avatar n tn Thanks. Went to dentist today. He took films and carefully inspected my mouth, did a bite study, and we discussed symptoms. He decided on root canal and called the endodontist (appt is for Thursday). The dentist showed me the film and although the tooth root looks okay (no black area of abscess), there is a "white ring shadow" above the tooth root. He said that is indicative of a sinus problem.
Avatar n tn I have been taking Norco 10/325 at 5 to 6 a day for disc fusion at C5-6 level for 4 years now. Presently starting second day of detox. It is a forced detox as no refills filled on a holiday. My situation is I have another fusion (C6-7) on Thursday and would like to not have to go through this insanity again. Any information would be greatly useful.
