So this is my 2nd yr living here I'm from desert weather and still adjusting to the weather (driving in snow ) and walking I kinda fall alot Lol anyone else scared bout the winter n being pregnant I'm going to be extra cautious but can't help being extra scared now that it's not just me.

Yep, I woke up Friday am with the same cold everybody else has, and it's still pretty sloppy today. D@mmit! This is the last impetus for me to play, since I can't perform any more. We get together every month at various members' houses, and we're not afraid to bring in unpolished, imperfect pieces to play, and receive feedback. We help each other through the difficult passages (not unlike this group! ;-D), and we've all become better guitarists for it.

I have heard that digestive enzymes can help. I am starting to take them with my meals.

ve had post-nasal drip, one cold with a cough that lasted about 8 weeks and now a constant tickling sensation in my chest, under and on either side of the breast bone. I also sometimes feel a tightness in my chest, not pressure or pain but discomfort, hard to explain. The post--nasal drip is constant and annoying as well as the ticklish feeling. I went to one doctor and he thinks allergies but I don't know-what could I be allergic to in the middle of the desert?

for the past 5 months on and off i have suffered from dry sores on the corners of my mouth after a while using cold sore lip cream it goes but then soon returns, its not contagious and not very painful but itchy and easy spreads and splits when i yawn !

About the cold. Certain paresthesias cold be worse in the cold, especially if the temperature sensing nerves are damaged. Also cold muscles do not function as well as warm ones, so people with MS will often see an increase in stiffness and spasticity in the cold.

My Husband made yellow rice beans and baked a roast. and for desert he made a vanilla ice cream mango .

I say keep your hands warm while you cool down, because I find that - while I feel better when cold - my muscles are stiffer, and I am less capable of fine coordination. I'm happy for you that you can continue to perform!

ve had the worse anxiety ever this past week and have posted on this forum a few times. (wanted to jump out a window yesterday) Played Guitar Hero for about an hour in the morning and I must say it helped the symptoms some...couldn't focus on the chest pain as much while trying to beat my husband at this stupid game! I AM going to make an appt with my dr. for sometime this week hopefully to discuss this severe increase in anxiety.

t increase HIV risk, but I learned that HSV-2 can cause cold sores on the face. Would that increase risk of getting HIV in the environment? I understood that it would not increase risk as I read a thread which said genital herpes would not increase risk of picking up HIV from secretions on a toilet seat. I am now on medication for anxiety, but I have a fear of stepping on needles in the environment,however I read on these threads that even in a needle HIV wouldn't live long?

Depending on the time of the shower you could just do simple appetizers like a veggie tray, fruit, some little smokies warmed in BBQ sauce, and chips and dip. Or you could just get some cold cuts and do a sand which bar and a couple of salads....

That's not dumb everyone is different. Are you going to pursue music in life?

it sounds like callus buildup. when i first started playing guitar my fingers would get extra skin that peeled, and after being around other musicians, i was told the fingers build calluses because of the strings, which explained why when i first started playing, my fingers were really sore, but once i got calluses, the strings didnt hurt my fingers anymore. i did end up with really thick calluses on my fingertips, but i loved playing guitar, so i didnt mind.

Guitar hero update. I beat "Same old song and dance" now I'm on "Welcome to the jungle" I LOVE THAT SONG! By the way...I'm on the "difficult" level....next is expert.

I have had cold sores for most of my life, and have become less frequent even if I run a fever or am stressed out. I had one earlier last week and it went away, all that was left was dried skin on my lip and no tingling or itching like a normal cold sore. I had sex with an old hookup later that week which included oral and vaginal. The next day I didn't feel any itchiness or anything out of the ordinary, plus I had shaved the day I had sex (both for the first time in months).

I'm not a lead guitar fan and can't stand guitar solos or jam sessions...I love the bass and rhythm guitar the best....so my vote is for Paul McCartney for bass.....

I'm not sure pinched nerves are caused by guitar playing. I've also been playing guitar for about that long, but I have no pinched nerves from it. I am, however, wracked with pain from other things, and if you do have pinched nerves it's likely the posture we assume when we play the guitar, with too much neck bending.

oh, i forgot, i bought a fender electric guitar in oct and started lessons. getting some work done on it to help my fingers play easier (getting strings lowered). didn't know that could be done. ;-) all this is new to me and i'm having fun with it. can't jump out of planes now so i'm gonna try to learn some pretty songs to play and entertain my feral cats & myself! at the least i have something interesting and fun to work on bsides MS and VA challenges!!

I don't think it is cold weather since I live in a desert and its warm all the time and no I've never had a mammogram, I'm soon to be 18 I don't know if this helps but I also have small white marks around the middle of my breast, I believe they are stretch marks, but could it be that which is making me itch? Maybe there's something wrong?
