I live in New England, north of Boston so I know all about cold & snow!!! Last year I went snow tubing with my kids and we had a blast!!! They asked me to take them this year and I was like.. ummm I can't!!!!! I like snow maybe the first couple of times, but Nor Easter storms I could do without!!! And I hate the cold more and more!!

I live in Arizona and it still gets as hot as 95°. I've been in the snow 3 time but had to travel 3 hours to get to it. I would love to see snow falling at least once in my life. I guess some people in Az feel the same way about the sun as you do the snow, I'm sorry it depresses you.

Send some of that snow my way. It is still in the upper 80's to mid 90's here. I sure wish I could find some place that is about 70 year round as I don't do cold or hot very well. When it is hot my Sx are a lot worse and when it is cold I just can not get warm even if it is 90 in my home.

I'm just outside of Detroit and I love the snow, can't wait for it. I feel if it's cold, might as well have snow to go with it! I'm anxious for my 17 month old daughter to see it and play in it this year. I think it's also my two dogs favorite time of year. Can't stand the shoveling though!

at 5 am this morning it was 4 degrees ith a winchill of -27 below zero....i will take 30m degree and 3 feet of snow anyday...

i looke don the map and picked a place that was showing snow on the weather channel and 2 days later i was in chicago with 3 feet of snow as soon as i got off the plane!!.... it was amazing!.. was cold after it fell and i dunno if i could deal with that ALL winter but it was a great vacation ! even while i was alaska there was NO snow!......

I'm totally OVER the snow too! We live in Ohio, so we aren't getting near as much as you! It's annoying, makes my house a mess and we've had enough! The car is a mess, the backs of the seats are a mess from little wet tennis shoes, the bottoms of pants are a mess...and I'm done!! Ugh...snow snow go away!!!!!!!

The good news is that 15 minutes of snow shoveling counts as moderate physical activity according to the 1996 Surgeon General's Report on Physical Activity and Health. It's very cold here. We had snow all day Saturday with some snow on Sunday. It snowed most of yesterday. Today it's cold, but sunny and beautiful. The mountains looks wonderful with the snow caps. It's such a wonderful sight - I am sitting here looking out of my office window at the snow caps and it always marvels me. We're supposed to get more snow late tonight into tomorrow and then again on Friday I believe. Then the weekend should be clear and cold!

Its unseasonably cold where I live. Okay, its not cold by many people's standards, but for here it's cold. Yet, weirdly flowers that should have died from either the change of the seasons and/or the cold temperatures are still blooming. I spotted some finches yesterday that usually arrive in the Spring. Despite the cold, the squirrels don't have as thick of a coat as they did last year, when our winter was mild.

We had snow ball fights and made snow angels. Walking in the snow is hard work. You could even teach her how to snow shoe - that is one of the hardest workouts in the world but lots of children love it. If you have a mountain nearby, you can take your child tubing, teach him/her to ski, ect. When it's just cold out, we liked to go for walks outside, stomping on the crystalized dirt. Kids generally aren't the same as adults when it comes to temperature.

Washington state, phone says 25. Pretty cold for us washingtonians. Used to cold weather but not this cold lol. I hope it snows soon!

and tons of thick blankets so ill have my son in all of it cause it gets really cold here nd as for shoes wear warm boots nd for coats find nice big ones nd ur daughter might want snow pants cause its super cold here i live in southern MN so I'm just going from what I've been through here it gets too cold for me so i stay inside a lot :) good luck

Jus wanted to share how cold it is in Cleveland, Ohio. Does anybody else stay in Cleveland?

I am not sure what the heck happened, but this past week it has been snowing, raining and windy. Two weeks ago I was hitting a few golf balls and now we have over a foot of snow and it's still coming down ugggg. For those of you in the northern U.S states or Canada, are you getting hit with this snow too? I heard it even snowed in NM last week wtf. I do not like winter, maybe up until Christmas the snow is nice, but here it stays till March usually.

This maybe a silly question and I know people have babies where the weather is cold and snowing. But I'm from Southern California and my family has planned to go to lake tahoe for christmas. It's a family tradition. It didn't even dawn on me that I would have a 1 month old at that time. Would it be even safe for the baby to be in that area that young? I'm not planning on putting him in the snow. We would be inside most of the time.
