Avatar f tn Inbetween the start of the 3rd week leading up to the fourth sleep should improve quickly..It was about the 25th day for me I realized it had in fact come back... Yeah, its a pain in the rear end during this time and does bring out "GRRRRRR!!!!" feelings..
Avatar m tn But it is the only thing that has worked for me with my sleep problems thus i have stayed on it. Also the side effects of weight gain and some other negative side effects are the reason I would love to get off of it. If anyone knows of any medications instead of seroquel that might work.....
Avatar m tn Hi all I've been suffering with sleep now for 4 days I just can't keep my eyes shut and fall into a deep sleep is there anything I can try or the best pills I could take
479244 tn?1271563659 Substantial research has been devoted to the identification of coffee components that may be responsible for these beneficial effects. Based on the current available literature, three major components, i.e. coffee diterpenes cafestol and kahweol (C+K), caffeine and chlorogenic acid contribute to the beneficial effects.
Avatar m tn Once you figure out how it effects you you can take measures to combat side effects. Good luck and may you sleep soon and sleep well!!!
Avatar m tn I've had success with drinking coffee before bedtime with RLS. that just goes contrary to all logic. I've been doing some research on caffeine and found that it regulates certain neurotransmitters and increases dopamine levels. this coming from someone with extreme to severe RLS and currently taking meripex to help. I have found I can decrease my meripex by doing the above.........
Avatar f tn I'm already 32 weeks and my hubby is concern that I drink coffee every morning .. I did some research and it says its only dangerous in the beginning. I also read that it takes longer for the caffeine to get out your system .. What can coffee cause your baby to have ? Or any health issues ?
1935826 tn?1323883580 Why can i not sleep? This has been all my life.
Avatar f tn Do any of you have your cup of coffee in the morning still? I'm 4w3d and I just want one cup in the morning. Is it horrible for me?
755829 tn?1246919225 I recommend cutting out all coffee. But if you must drink coffee then yes, I would say that decaff is better than regular coffee. Decaff contains little to no caffeine while regular coffee contains high amounts of caffeine. Caffeine can cause MANY problems. I would name them all but it would take me a very long time. Look at this website for further information on caffeine and the side effects it has. Some you have probably already had and didn't even notice.
Avatar n tn I am 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow with baby #3 and the sleepless nights are starting to kick in. I really want, and need some coffee but I am nervous to drink it while pregnant. I know having a little caffeine is not bad and I have a soda every now and then but I've never had caffeinated coffee during any of my pregnancies. What do y'all think?
221913 tn?1372276661 I can not sleep to save my life! I have tried everything! For the past year I was on Interferon treatment for my HEP-C and so far it's been successful and insomnia was one of the side effects for about the first 3 months but then it subsided; well now mysteriously it is back even though I've been off treatment now for about a month. I have tried everything that's out there as well but nothing is working. I was taking 10mg Valium, sometimes 2 at a time but not even a yawn.
Avatar f tn but when I was in my 2nd month I use to only crave for coffee.infact the after effects of coffee was not that good since I wud after many hours get palpitations n panic feeling all over my body.Soon I realised that starbucks serves Decaff and I started drinking one cup of decaff a day for a few months which was perfectly fine and suited me..Also now I dont crave for coffee any more the way I use too.so I would suggest you have a Decaff..
781069 tn?1236000291 My GP wanted me to take Amitriptyline but I am reluctant to go on an antidpressent as I get horrible side effects (was on it for 4 years and the dry, swollen mouth never subsided). I now know it is my thyroid meds that control my sleep as I did sleep when I was on 20mg T3 but I looked awful in a morning with huge dark circles and had to survive on coffee all morning to try and do my work.
Avatar m tn If it it only happens sometimes, then its possible that it is not the stim med., but your lifestyle (not getting enough sleep for example). The effects of the medication should be consistent - not change one day to the next (unless, you are also on another medication that might interact with it). Essentially, the effects should last a max of 4 hours. Any longer would indicate an overdose.
Avatar f tn Caffeine is found in more than just coffee. Caffeine is not only found in coffee but also in tea, soda, chocolate, and even some over-the-counter medications that relieve headaches. Be aware of what you consume. Fact or Myth? Statement: Caffeine causes birth defects in humans. Avatar f tn feeling nervous or irritable, sleep problems (insomnia); loss of appetite; nausea, stomach pain; or headache. So it is probably that the combination of the drug and coffee is the cause of the nausea.
Avatar f tn My husband, 52 yrs old, no back issues at all, he does have a severe neck problems, he has no symptoms from disc disease He was standing in line at a coffee shop bought the coffee turned to walk and fell on his face, no feeling in his leg at all, no numbness, no pain, he describes it like it wasn't there, when he went to try and get up it took a min to get a feeling back in his leg for him to stand...
Avatar m tn Without the caffeine, I sleep almost on command, yet still wake up very tired even with 8 hours sleep. If I had strong coffee the previous day, I wake more easily and feel more rested the following day. I tried drinking three red bulls last week and it worked just as well as coffee. Another positive symptom: for the last two years I've been having joint pain that has progressively gotten worse. It started in my hip but has progressed to my knees, shoulders, and elbows.

8778737 tn?1413827423 t (aka they are addicted and dependant on caffeine) I like tea more than coffee but I crave coffee sometimes and my bf is also very strict about coffee intake! At least he cares but we researched it and it's okay for me to have a cup a day or two small cups!
Avatar n tn My cardiologist tells me that I need a statin for my cardiac health, but now I only get 4-5 hours of sleep at night before I need to get up and pee. Than, I only get back to sleep about 1/3 of the time. Lack of sleep robs me of energy, and makes me irritable -- not good ! Does anyone know about the side-effects of other statins that I might take instead ? Do some of them have less effect on bladder, or are they all problematic. I'm doing my part: I do not eat or drink for at least 2.
1923802 tn?1331986928 s anything you can do to improve the quality of your nighttime sleep, that will help with daytime fatigue (e.g. anti itch medications, sleep aids, and other meds to manage side effects, etc.). The only other advice my husband's hepatologist has given us is rest as much as you can. Good luck with your treatment.
