I'm already 32 weeks and my hubby is concern that I drink coffee every morning .. I did some research and it says its only dangerous in the beginning. I also read that it takes longer for the caffeine to get out your system .. What can coffee cause your baby to have ? Or any health issues ?

I recommend cutting out all coffee. But if you must drink coffee then yes, I would say that decaff is better than regular coffee. Decaff contains little to no caffeine while regular coffee contains high amounts of caffeine. Caffeine can cause MANY problems. I would name them all but it would take me a very long time. Look at this website for further information on caffeine and the side effects it has. Some you have probably already had and didn't even notice.

I have an enlarged prostate BPH. I had a problem a few months ago with inability to urinate (urinary retention). I had to go to the emergency room and they inserted a catheter to remove the urine in my bladder. I had the catheter in for a month. It has been removed and I am back to normal. The doctor put me on finasteride to reduce the prostate size and tamsulosin (Flowmax) which is working. I asked my doctor if I had to take these two medications for the rest of my life he said yes.

but when I was in my 2nd month I use to only crave for coffee.infact the after effects of coffee was not that good since I wud after many hours get palpitations n panic feeling all over my body.Soon I realised that starbucks serves Decaff and I started drinking one cup of decaff a day for a few months which was perfectly fine and suited me..Also now I dont crave for coffee any more the way I use too.so I would suggest you have a Decaff..

Well, alcohol irritates the urethra and bladder, so its not all that surprising that it would burn some after drinking. Dehydration can also cause the same thing. The only physical cause would be an inflamed prostate, and if you haven't had a prostate exam, it might be a good idea, at least to rule it out. Its not an std, though. You might get more ideas in the men's health forum.

hi i have a list of the antihistimines, they all seem to say not to be used to enlarged prostate, (the saldane has been taken off US market due to serious/fatal side effects) including the saldane. Which ones would you say say are better for somone with enlarged prostate? i only have dust allergy which effects my breathing/air passage swelling and it is relieved by antihistamines. what would you suggest? can i use a type of inhaler?

This, and other statements on this forum such as forcing a bowel movement (which also stimulates the prostate) leads me to think that this is a prostate related problem. Also as mentioned earlier ejaculating before drinking helps empty the prostatic fluids (which is what the major part of sperm is made of) and relieve pressure from the prostate.

the pain was through the whole pelvis and also individual veins or spermatic cord. does Flomax permanently shrink your prostate or reduce testosterone levels? I read one forum where people where saying they had a permanent loss of strength, could not throw the discus as far? I'm still not cured of the pelvic pain on Flomax+cipro after a few days it is labeled as relaxing the bladder neck and prostate muscles but it has these strength loss problems.

m not a doctor but from the sound of it, it sounds as though your prostate is shrinking or weakening. I suggest you go get yourself checked for prostate cancer the moment you read this.
