coffee

Avatar f tn Hi Ladies what are your thoughts on coffee 1 small cup a day, also what do you think about diet drinks in moderation. I love soda I know its bad for you and I am drinking tons of water these days but sometimes only a soda will do.
624754 tn?1233297136 Always eat something first because I could feel weak or faint. The caffeine in my coffee has become unhealthy because I have drank coffee for many years. I know that caffeine requires more food as to be absorbed and caffeine as a drug continues to be active and this is my question; How long should it take to withdraw from the caffeine, how many day?
Avatar f tn You can have caffeine but in moderation. I am an avid diet coke, coffee, and tea drinker and I needed to cut back but my ob said it would be okay if I had only 1 6-8oz serving of caffeine per day (it also helps me relieve headaches). Also, if your worried, just switch to decaf!
Avatar f tn Yes you can have coffee. I drink a iced coffee from the drive thru every day and my babies are just fine. But 200mg a day is what they say is fine to have.
Avatar f tn Welcome to the forum! If he is on triple tx, with Incivek for the first 12 weeks, he will actually be forced to eat a very high fat diet during that stage (20 mg of fat within 30 minutes prior to pill), as that medication is carried and absorbed via fat. Other than that one drug there are no real dietary restrictions except eating enough and including some fats for better absorption of the ribavirin. Most people lose their appetite and lose some weight while on interferon and ribavirin.
Avatar f tn avoid asparthane cause nobody knows the long term effects on the unborn feotus... but it has been linked to cancer and other diseases in adults... just err on the side of caution, that's all! I didn't take any caffeine for my 1st pregnancy and my baby came out calm and a good sleeper... this time around, I've been drinking 2-3 coffees a day and I'm hoping my baby doesn't come out nervous and jumpy!
Avatar m tn Dear All, I have a few questions about the diet that patients of Hepatitis C should take/ avoid. 1. Alcohol is an absolute no as far as I understand. 2. What about coffee? I have read reports that it slows liver damage. Is this true? Should one have coffee during the treatment and when one is not being treated? 3. Do we need to avoid fried/ deep fried food? And what about chicken and mutton? 4. During tx papaya is said to boost platelet count. Does it interfere with the treatment drugs? 5.
684916 tn?1308686859 My adult children use artificial sweeteners in their coffee and only drink "diet" drinks. I don't think that this is a safe practice in the amounts that they consume. Any advice that I can share with them would be appreciated.
8180827 tn?1396894232 I'm not sure why you're so worried about getting sick on a low carb diet... The only carbs you have to give up are sugar, white flour, rice, etc. Veggies and whole grains are the best sources of complex (good) carbs. Also make sure you get plenty of lean protein and adequate "good" fats.
1450627 tn?1296616593 This means ONE cup of coffee not a venti from Starbucks or extra large coffee but one cup of coffee. But if you look at the nutrition guide on coffee black coffee is approx 200mg per cup but the espresso drinks are less than that! :). Yes spoken like a true caffeine addict lol. Bc we are past our first trimester caffeine isn't as much as a worry for miscarriage the concern is that it depletes your body of calcium which baby is already doing.
Avatar f tn t use the same coffee grinder you use for coffee) and liberally sprinkled on salads, soups, vegetables, whole grain cereals and in smoothies. Do not cook as this decreases effectiveness.
Avatar n tn Thank you everybody! Coffeemate! I can live with that! What I can't live withut is the coffee! Actually, nobody wants to be near me when I don't have my coffee. I guess I was so focused on the AVOID list that I didn't pay attention to the ALLOWED list. What about rice? Some sites say yes, others no. I can manage that but I'm curious.
Avatar n tn When I went off this evening I also had head pain for the 1st time. No coffee?? I am all set to get a handle on this but the selection of food is a mystery. Who'd have thought mashed potatoes would have triggered an attack? Please help! You know I'll love you forever!!!
Avatar m tn Gerd effects many people. What is your diet like.? Do you drink alot of soda and coffee?
6403373 tn?1381003248 The biggest thing is not to "eat foods" to help you loose weight, but to cut out such simple things as pop, chips, coffee with tons of cream and sugar. Another way to eat better is to remember this, when you go shopping shop on the OUTSIDE of the grocery store. Almost everything that is processed is in the middle.
Avatar n tn I still drink coffee every day but i dont overdo it.. just one coffee a day and it will be fine..
Avatar f tn will a special diet help? Is this treatable? Is thhis a precurser to ancer?
3206391 tn?1345548398 Just wondering if drinking black coffee before testing effects the results? My Dr. called me in because my sugar was elivated. He said it was most likely from drinking black coffee before the blood was drawn. I remember my ex was told he could have black coffee before the blood was drawn years ago. Have they changed their view on this?
Avatar f tn t recommended drinking a crazy amount every day but a cup a day would be fine. What I do is buy 1/2 caffeinated coffee and drink a cup in the morning on work days. That way I still get a little bit to get me through the fatigue, but its still less than what my doctor told me was ok to consume. I'm 29 weeks now and have a healthy little boy growing inside me.
Avatar n tn My main concern, is that later in the year I want to attend a religious retreat where there will be fixed vegetarian catering and because choice will be very limited, I am wondering, given the difficulties of this unpleasant condition, if it would be wiser to look for an alternative venue or limit any possible effects by eating smaller meals. I am anxious to maintain the good progress I have made. Thank you for any advice.
Avatar f tn I think the diet coke is actually worse than tea or coffee, because artificial sweeteners seem to be linked to health issues in fetuses. If you're having the equivalent of one cup of coffee per day, it's unlikely you're harming your baby, but 3+ cups of coffee a day has been linked to low birth weight and neurological disorders.
1130586 tn?1316266292 I'm trying to drink coffee again. I alway grind beans fresh and use a french press. It's just so much to do and get fat grams and get to work. I do drink a couple of cups at work. Thanks for the reminder..
