Im 22 years old in my forehead and all around in face have lot of marks,acne. I went to a Dermatologist and he recommended to use fashbar soap,dezor shampoo,adapalene & clindamycin phosphate gel and take 1 capsule of minolin 100mg but now my face is burning and get lot of oily also still there is no results to that marks and acnes what can I do now pls answer me?
Im 20 years old. I have acne scars and pimples . I went to a Dermatologist and he recommended me to use adapalene & clindamycin phosphate gel but now my face gets burning sensation and has got shine wherever I used that product. also the pimples which I had is turning into some kind of mark. I discontinued using after 10 days. Will it be proper by itself?

My doctor just called me last night and told me I tested positive for herpes, but asked how I was doing and I said I was still taking the clindamycin phosphate that she had prescribed and she said no don't take that yet, but I already started it... Should I continue use? I am so confused and I still have to schedule a follow up appt. to try and understand all of this. Please help!

Two months ago an itch began on the interior of my left thigh while wearing compression shorts at the gym. (I understand sometimes information may lead a doctor in the wrong direction, but it's worth noting I workout 4 times a week, and sometimes I wear my gym clothes on back-to-back days.

05%(base), i also just started using Fougera Clindamycin Phosphate gel USP, 1%(equivalent to 1% clindamycin. i have been using the first one for past three month twice a day and it is almost having no affect. the area is increasing and i m afraid it will get bigger and it is. what should i do? any recommendations on what i should use to get rid of it? can you recommend any medicine/cream??

I have been to a dermatologist last month and she simply said it is related to friction and moisture at the genital locations and prescribed me a clindamycin phosphate topical gel. Although I have used it regularly for a week, twice a day, the bumps are still there and didnt seem to heal. I was wondering what these bumps could be and what should be my next step to get rid of them.
P.S. As I regularly get tested for panel STDs, I know that I am STD free..
The affected area of my face give a white smelly liqued. By mY doctor I use adapalene Microspheres+ Clindamycin Phosphate, Gel Deriva-CMS Gel & Benzotl Peroxide Creamy Wash 4% after 25 days of using this medicne the doctors change the medicne and now i am using Accare Gel , Adaplene & Clindamycin Gel with Doxycycline Hydrochloride capsules I.P.. on present dtd. 04.02.
He has recommended using Dalacin V Cream (clindamycin phosphate) which does improve the symptoms temporarily although the symptoms do return within about four weeks. Overall, I suffer from this uncomfortable condition each month.
I am also trying to conceive naturally which makes me believe that this condition could be part of the problem of not being able to conceive up until now.
I've had "buttock folliculitis" for 2+ yrs. Buttock scabs WIll NOT HEAL regardless of Mupriocin/Clindamycin phosphate/ tea tree oil. Now what? I can't walk around naked to oxygenate the scabs. Please tell me what medical solution there is? Tyvm.
I was prescribed a benzoyl peroxide wash and clindamycin phosphate roll-on and it worked great. I was on it for like a year or so and hardly ever break out anymore.

Oh and refering to your previous answer, when you say 'this is temporary', does that mean once I've gone to an esthetician, this will no longer be a problem or will it still flare up now and then?

i had been to a dermatologist a few days ago and he had asked me to use faceclin-A (adapalene and clindamycin phosphate gel) for my acne.i am 14 years old.so after 2 days of usage i started feeling a burning sensation whenever i touch the areas and even if i apply a moisturizer.i hurts a lot.i hope someone can help me!!!
I have the exact same problem. The dermatologist prescribed first a clindamycin phosphate topical cream, that did not work. Then he prescribed clidamycin/peroxide cream and a face wash, that only dry my skin and did not help at all. A second dermatologist prescribed some safe antibiotics (keflex 500 mg twice daily) and azaleic acid cream. I start taking this and it finally help with my terrible acne. I have acne in my back, face and chest. Some its really deep and leave marks everywhere.
has given me 10 days of clindamycin to be taken 3 times a day at a dose of 450 mgs. this is fine, i can take clindamycin with no ill effects.
HOWEVER, i have read that this drug is not commonly used to treat std's as there are so many better options. Is clindamycin going to work??? Thanks.
The folliculitis has not become enraged - I went to a dermatologist who prescribed acne face wash and clindamycin phosphate gel. The only current symptoms I have are small red pus-filled blisters which are centered around hair follicles along the shaft of my penis and surrounding genital area, and swollen lymph nodes.
The timing of the folliculitis outbreak is less than ideal. My two questions are - 1) what is the chance of transmission of HSV to my genital area?

Firstly,many thanks for the reply and all the concern. Back to the topic,I'm very happy to say that its only today I noticed that the skin where the discoloration had started has started to restore back to my normal brown skin,although the white colour can still be made out the intensity has decreased and the brown skin has started to cover the patch and there aren't infections or any kinda itching around that area.. Everything seems quite normal and fine here.
s the biggest problem with my crazy oily scale, sometimes my scalp gets these very ITCHY and PAINFUL pimples, (for this problem, my dermatologist had prescribed me a medicine for it, Clindamycin phosphate get USP, 1%; however this medication doesn't help much in my opinion). So, sometimes i just wait a day or two till the pimple turn white/yellow, so i can squeeze out the pus material (it's gross to me), otherwise the pimple will not heal at all.
