clindamycin lying down

I haven't had sex for over a year and I smell down there, even when I'm sitting it does and gets worst when I stand, why is this? How can I get rid of it? It's not really a fishy smell but it's kind of gross smelling, never had a yeast infection or unprotected sex. Any ideas?

Hi, I am having headache only when lying down. It repositions if I turn to the sides, sleeping face down helps relief the pain. It goes away when I sit up or stand up. It's worse if I sleep on a firm pillow. The pain varies every night. Please advise. Thank you. but he said that he never heard of them. There must be some truth to the idea that lying down causes more palps because it happens to me when I try to sleep sometimes. It is real to me, so you are not alone.

I wrote in to you and you suggested to try Clindamycin or another drug. I took two of them into the vet to get the Clindamycin. He looked at one and said "oh he just has bad teeth". I thought this is strange as his teeth were fine until he contracted this ailment. He looks at the female and right away and said cancer! He did no biopsy or testing nor did he offer to do such. I find this extremely odd that I would have 4 cats who come down with this baffling ailment at apx.

Hi. I had a lower wisdom tooth removed on the 1st of April. It was fairly complicated lying on it's side, gum had to be cut and bone chiseled away to access the tooth which was then cut in to 4 pieces and removed then stitched up. On the 2nd day after the procedure I got dry socket. The most immense pain I've ever felt throbbing down my jaw line from my ear. Pain killers didn't even touch it. I've since had it packed 4 times and the stiches removed.

has given me 10 days of clindamycin to be taken 3 times a day at a dose of 450 mgs. this is fine, i can take clindamycin with no ill effects. HOWEVER, i have read that this drug is not commonly used to treat std's as there are so many better options. Is clindamycin going to work??? Thanks.

I recently had a wisdom tooth extraction and was prescribed Clindamycin to prevent the extraction area from becoming infected. I was prescribed this medication on 5/28/2014. I was directed to take it 3x a day until it was all gone. I took it for about a week straight. I noticed while I was on the medication that I had very severe episodes of diarrhea and stomach cramping. I stopped taking the medication as of yesterday.

I had missed one dose of the clindamycin. The er doctor gave me again clindamycin via iv. My face swelled up again but started pussing at my gums after a while. She told me to keep taking it despite the swelling and sent me home with a follow up oral surgeon. I didn't take it all night and my face had gone down to half the size by morning! It felt so much better and lighter. I couldnt get a hold of my dentist or the oral surgeon to ask their opinion on continuing with this antibiotic.

the main reason is that the clindamycin is a very powerful antibiotic (my doctor put me on 450mg of clindamycin) the down side is clindamycin can kill everything in your body. that includes the good bacteria in your intestine called gut flora. if the good bacteria dies it can make way for a bad bacteria that's immune to clindamycin to grow in your intestine. eating the yogurt (especially yogurts with "probiotics" in them) will help keep your gut flora levels up right now.

Jaw has been swollen since but is slowly going down. The main problem is I can only open my jaw about 3/4 of an Inch. I have been taking Clindamycin for about a week now and I'm unsure if it's doing any good, I've also been doing the Warm Washrag on the jaw. went to the dentist and he said the infection had gone into my tissue. He put me on Clindamycin on wed.. the lump is still there and the pain had subsided until today. The pain is now really bad. Can clindamycin kill the bacteria in the back of my throat. I had the same thing happened to me before, I had bacteria on my tonsils and in the back of my throat and I used amoxicillin but it only killed the bacteria on my tonsils. Then from not treating the bacteria in the back of my throat caused my tonsils down my throat to swell so I was prescribed prednisone. It cured.

m using the clindamycin lotion twice daily, but progress has sort of plateaued. The clindamycin will get it to the point where it forms some new skin over the top but then starts to crack and peel again, and I'm back to square one. Okay, so I've been lying down and propping up my feet, and my stomach had been tightening up quite a lot. And Everytime I lie down on my back, I can feel cramps, and my lower back hurting. Is this normal?

So an example is, I may have tingling in my face/hands/feet while up, but within minutes of lying down, the tingling spreads throughout my torso, and goes pretty much head to toes (except my ears and the top of my nose, to be precise). Even weirded, if I lie on one side or the other, than that side gets more symptoms/tingling than the other side. On my back, it's just all over. This has lead to me sleeping sitting up, or at least propped up, on days when I have a lot of symptoms.

Get good neck and head support when you are lying down. A cervical pillow and a flat stable bed will be beneficial. Get adequate sleep and eat well .I also suggest that you seek consult with an ophthalmologist and ENT specialist. Sinus headaches may present with a sensation of fullness or pressure. Eye problems may also manifest with headaches. It is best to have this ruled out first.

I have the exact same symtoms the pain is horrible and wakes me up goes away when I get out of bed and walk around. Have you found the problem yet?

They precluded low spinal fluid pressure from the spinal block because my headaches are worse, not better, when lying down. I had MRIs on my brain and all was fine. My blood pressure got quite high and I was prescribed hypotone. I was also put on Trepiline, Tramacet and Maxalt and an amjoxycillin (as I had a UTI). 4 days later I was feeling a bit better and was discharged- still on all the above meds, and so have had to discontinue breastfeeding (am expressing milk though).

My head will often feel hot when I am having a migraine but not like that... and it has never felt worse when lying down... often it feels better lying down, unless the pain is so bad that I can lie down, but lying down doesn't make it worse then, it just doesn't make it any better... so lying down making the pain worse was just the weirdest thing ever.

t get me in for three weeks, so my regular dentist gave me Clindamycin 300MG 3X a day. I have been taking it for four days. Since then my check has gone from no swelling to so swollen I can hardly open my mouth. The pain at the site of the tooth is gone but there is still a lot of pressure above the tooth (#14). t seem to have problems with doxycycline, amoxicillin or clindamycin. Clindamycin destroys my stomach though. I avoid cipro and zithromax.

Ladies, tell me the truth is it me or its just this stupid ksjahqbskcidow bacterial vaginosis?!?!? Ugh I've had since I found out I'm pregnant! Took flagyl but I was allergic to I switched to clindamycin. I took that clindesse clindamycin vaginal cream, didn't work!!! Clindamycin HCl tablets for 7 days didn't work!!! Now they want me to take clindamycin HCl for 7 days again!!!??!!!!!! I'm sooooooo confused, frustrated, devastated, im cryinh and all mix nega emotions!!!!
