I am not real familiar with clenbuterol -- I do know it's used primarily for respiratory problems in horses and is not recommended for humans. It's totally banned in the US, although it appears that there ARE countries who allow limited use for humans. Cytomel is a thyroid med and should never be used for weight loss purposes, since it can cause hyperthyroidism, which can be very dangerous.

Would taking 60mcg T3 and clenbuterol daily for weight loss affect the HIV testing window? I recently did an oral oraquick test today which would put me at the 6wk and 8wk period after two sexual encounters. I started taking the T3 about 3 days ago and will likely take it for the next two months, not sure when I will start the clenbuterol though.

I work part time to support my daughter and myself and have no extra money for myself. If I could I would have plastic surgery tomorrow but unfortunately I just don't have the money. I would pay by installments but my ex partner left me with a lot of debt that crippled me and got me a bad credit rating, so I can't even do that. Anxiety is a side effect of Cytomel. Why are you on Cytomel alone and not combined with a T4 med? You should not be as anxious as you are. Do you know hat your free T3, free T4 and TSH were prior to starting Cytomel? Do you take your Cytomel in one dose or split it?

Hi, I have many symptoms of hypothyroid but my thyroid levels are normal, so my physician prescribed low-dose (5mg) Cytomel in the hopes of alleviating my symptoms. Has anyone taken Cytomel (not the sustained-release form, just the regular instant-release form) for Wilson's Syndrome? If so, could you please share your story? Did Cytomel work? Did you try the sustained-released form of T3?

It stays in your system for a matter of hours not days or weeks. And therefore it's the perfect drug pre-RAI.

I had a TT in October for papillary carcinoma. This was followed by RAI even though the nodule was small (12mm) and had not spread to the lymph nodes. After RAI, I was put on 125mcg L-thyroxine and up to 75mcg cytomel a day. As I tapered off the cytomel, my hypothyroidism symptoms began to return. Blood work was done (TSH 0.03) and my doctor's PA reduced by L-thyroxine to 116mcg per day and by then I was totally off cytomel anyway.

Ask for the cytomel in 5 mcg tabs - then you can split the dosage much easier.......Mine are 5 mcg, which worked out perfectly when I was on 10 mcg/day - I could take one first thing in the morning, then another later in the morning, without having to split pills. Now that I'm down to 5 mcg/day, I still don't have to split the pills - they just last twice as long......... To get the 12.5, you will have to go with 1.5 pill twice/day, unless you can get it dropped to just 10 mcg/day.....
