Clear skin laser centre

Common Questions and Answers about Clear skin laser centre

Avatar n tn He prescribed ointment to clear up the fissure and scheduled an appointment to remove the skin tag 1 month later. I'm on day 3 after the surgery, and I don't feel good at all. The surgery was in his office,he inserted a big needled directly into the skin tag, which I felt for about 7 seconds or so, and it WAS painful, after that , the area went numb. He cut and removed the skin tag and stitched the are closed. He told me to get emla cream and I did on my way home.
Avatar f tn I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin. Part of it broke off but I could still see that the pore was plugged and a day or two later top of the plug was sticking out again. i can't find ANYTHING online that looks like it.
Avatar n tn Hi im 17 im a male and im a virgin i have pearly penile papules(i think thats what its call) the white dots on the penis head on the ring, i dont have that many i notice them when i was like 15 and its gettin worse by the time. i heard the only way to remove them its by laser surgery but i cant afford that, i was wondering if theres any other way to reduce them a cream meaby? i wash my penis head every day and i dry it verry well will that help?
Avatar m tn I can see great outside, but for most things inside I wear progressive bifocals (clear at the top, 1.25 middle, and 2.50 bottom); this is sooo much easier than having different powered readers all over the house. I have no problems with night vision or halos or astigmatism and all-in-all am very pleased. I have tons of floaters (had these before) that I try to ignore. Have not needed a yag (I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one).
Avatar n tn The condom itself will absorb some of the friction rather than the skin of your penis, as the condom moves slightly during intercourse-rather than the skin moving so much. This will help protect your delicate skin while it may have a chance to heal. It takes a LONG time for this skin to heal. Be sure though, that you go to the doctor and describe your problem. Don't be embarrased. Quit putting ANYTHING on it.
Avatar n tn I am having the same problem, ALSO on my left eye... went to see an overcharged eye doctor, send me home with hardly any examination. Went to see my optometrist who is more helpful than the eye doctor! he said noticed a oily lump (which i found on the net and it is called chalazion?) in the top left of my upper eyelid which "maybe" the cause. Honestly, I noticed it to but I felt uncomfortable before I notice it so I was kinda skeptical...
Avatar m tn Apparently the astigmatism I had has been corrected (toric lens) but I am now slightly shortsighted (I had hoped for good vision overall). It has been suggested I could have laser surgery to correct this. My main worry is that I have what I feel is quite bad flaring from car headlights at night and also lots of circles around the lights, presume this is haloing. I see you talk about haloing and I am wondering if this has diminished/improved for you as time passes after the surgery.
Avatar m tn // "Auffarth: Since we have adequately outlined the strengths of the lens, I will discuss what could be seen as weaknesses. If you look at the patients in whom we encountered some problems, you will notice that they are all surgically related and not due to the lens itself. In one case, the lens was slightly decentered upward, and the patient looked through the near part in the distance.
Avatar n tn ) The stuff inside is a combination of dead skin cells and oil from your skin, which is what the 'white' stuff is. It is usually kind of thick and oily when it comes out, and is sometimes mixed with a little blood. I think washing the area gently once or twice a day with antibacterial soap is a good idea. You might also want to apply an antibacterial ointment to it like Neosporin to keep it from becoming infected. I like the Neosporin with Pain Relief, the pain relief medicine really helps.
Avatar m tn If your Eustachian tubes get infected, it could lead to Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ETD) which requires a lot of time to clear up. The first few times you do this, it may feel uncomfortable to have saline and water up your nose. You will probably feel a burning sensation. This is due to the fact that the pH of the hypertonic saline solution is different from the pH of the water in your body. This will not affect the power or safety of the saline solution, just the comfort level.
Avatar n tn And in my case, my Blue Cross paid for everything!) Since you're highly myopic, you would either need laser vision correction or a clear lens exchange on your other eye. (My Blue Cross paid for that eye, too!) But please don't even consider multifocal/accommodating IOLs. They're just not designed for eyes with a less-then-perfect retina. If you do have the retinal surgery, get aspheric monofocal IOLs made of acrylic for best results post cataract surgery.
Avatar n tn Hi, I just had my first lipodissolve treatment on Friday (it's now Sunday, so it's 48 hours ago) I had it done on my abdomen, in a circular area with my bellybutton in the centre. The swelling is bad, and has spread beyond the injection sites to my hips, the tops of my thighs and even down to the tissue above my pubic bone. It's also very tender. Did anyone else experience this? I am so upset - I feel I should have left well enough alone.
Avatar n tn but I have noticed I can close my eyes or just be in a dark place and turn my head side to side fairly quickly and cause the white laser type light to flash, encircling the peripheral area or just move my eyes side to side with my eyes open to stimulate the light. Is this the case with you also? I never have headaches or high blood pressure. I noticed you posted May 12 2009 which has been sometime back, have you gotten any information of what this might be?
1616830 tn?1298756423 My partner suffers from Multiple Sclerosis but in answering this question please try not to focus on that, as so many do in the professional field. She had laser eye surgery (lasik) Sept 2010, complications of Optic Neuritis arose two days later. Diagnosed with Optic Neuritis Oct 2010 (second bout since diagnosed with MS 6 years ago). Had eye infection (related to lasik surgery) in Nov 2010, given antibiotic eye drops.
Avatar n tn My mother went through a horrific case of shingles without a rash this July 07. She is a healthy 61 year old woman who got the shingles vaccine Spring 07. Its started out as a pain under her shouler blade. She thought she pulled a muscle. The pain got progressively worse (especially when she moved around) and she ended up in the ER thinking she was having a heart attack. The doctors had no idea what was causing the pain (all tests, xrays etc. turned up negative).

Avatar n tn if you think it is from shaving, it very well could be. is the lump under the skin, or on top of ????? there is a difference. if you don't want to go to the doc, just wait it out for a few days, and see what happens. It may very well go down in size.
Avatar n tn Were you tested for STD's? Sounds to me like you should if you haven't - if that's clear I would certianly push to see a urologist....
Avatar m tn My understanding is that you have a pigment layer in your retina that carries light through the retina and to the optic nerve. When I get my Central serous retinopathy, the centre section develops something similar to a blister. It disrupts the flow of this pigment, and makes it visible, especially when I blink or move my eyes from a dark area or a light area. Basically, the blistered area can;t keep up with the non-blistered area and so the dark or light lingers in the area of disruption.
Avatar f tn hi, i'm not sure but i hope somone can help -all i can think of is a nerve issue, it may not be at the site if the pain -i suffer from very sensitive and painfull skin in my groin area and this is due to nerve damage at the spine... all the best T.
Avatar n tn I have seen an ENT, had a CT scan, and my ears and sinuses are clear, no issues. Diagnosed migraine and referred me to a neurologist, appt in 2 weeks. I hope we are all still following and can help each other out with our search for answers. Thank you.
Avatar m tn It needs to be refrigerated, but it is great quality flaxoil which is not only good for dry eye but skin, etc. Fish oil also good. In regards to the OCT test, I like to actually SEE what the Docs are talking about. They should be able to show you the Macular Pucker, and if your Retina is swollen or distorted. That way you can compare from visit to visit to see if anything is improving or declining.
Avatar m tn Hello everyone. I am having the same issues (obviously) and I cant seem to get a clear answer. I feel the "needle stuck in heart" feeling but that stopped recently. I also feel a sharp pain when I SLEEP OR LAY on my left side in my chest area. I dont know if its my heart or lungs or what. I, too, burp alot and everytime I wake up I have to burp about 4-5 times to expel all the gas. When I eat anything, I swallow more than once to clear my throat so I know im swallowing a lot of air.
724734 tn?1230944872 So far my mother just keeps telling me I need more sleep. My sister also had cystic acne for years and recently started taking vitamin D and has clear skin now. I saw others mentioned vitamin D so maybe my skin is trying to tell me something. I will buy some tomorrow!
Avatar n tn I had both ovaries removed Dec 18th by laproscopy and I feel pretty good, but my belly button incision seems to be open, like the stitch dissolved before the skin closed over complete. There is no pus, no fever, no pain, no redness other than the general scar area. The hole is about 1/4 inch in diameter, but I'm still a little concerned about having a hole in my belly! Of course, both my GP and OBGYN are closed for the holidays so I called the hospital that did my surgery.
Avatar f tn adrenals and all horomonal functions the vagus is the control for the autonomic nerve system and the centre of all functions that are automatic I haven't had a regular bowel for 37 years and the acid is damaging my esophagus it is very serious. Avatar n tn Now 2 weeks later, the bottom ones are still to be seen, but not the top ones around my belly button; they have disappeared under the skin, and are red, swollen and itchy. I do also feel some pain in my abdominal area, also around the belly button area, and lower left; comes and goes. Is this normal?
