so I heard from my friend to put baby powder down on your carpets as a freshener and it works great my house smells wonderfull and its not over powering you should try it and tell me what you think :-)

re gonna be more concerned about getting to the hospital as opposed to cleaning that up so it will just soak in nd your mattress will get ruined nd at least this way you don't have to worry

Its a simple crib and baby mattress will work. Make sure you get baby mattress our yet new born mattress bc they have them breathable and plastic, for poop, throw up, blah blah. Main thing is safety. So make sure its a newborn one as well as the bedding.

t seem to think that having it in their home, smoking around it in the living area until we picked it up was a bad idea. It was also full of baby clothes that have picked it up. So now we have a smelly bassinet mattress, bassinet and baby clothes. I've washed the clothes twice and managed to get them perfect but the bassinet and mattress is doing my head in. I recently moved to my new home town where i only have tile floor both down stairs and upstairs. I was cleaning out ny floors and moving the futon mattress and i fell and the heavy mattress fell on my stomach. I was completely helpless and my son though i was playing around and was laughing .i started crying since i hit the floor pretty bad andmy pelvic bone was already hurting. I was literally stuck with a heavy mattress ontop of me and couldn't move .

Any moms out there already have the bedding or moms who have suggestions from their first baby on the best type of bedding and mattress. I have a crib already but, I'm just not sure about the rest of it. Ftm lol and still trying to figure out everything he needs too.

ve had to do is wear a mask, like a surgeons mask when using cleaning products, otherwise my sinuses close up completely. All windows have to be open, as well. You are highly sensitive to these products. My husband has these masks for when he's working with hard core chemicals - I'll ask him where he gets them.

I so het you my hubby plays as soon as he get home from work and on his one day off he sleeps tell 11 and then gets up and plays his stupid game

from home depot and put it under your sheets, this will prevent any body fluids from getting in to your mattress. Then when the 7 days are up, you can wash the sheets and throw the plastic away. Got my crib really early. My in laws bought it for us and set it up and bought the mattress. Mattress hasn't been taken out of the plastic wrap cover and I just bought the mattress cover. I wish it wasn't set up so early but I have no say. Basically it's just put together and we end up throwing our stuff in it.

I have so much junk that my bf has some of his stuff in the other bedroom lol now with baby coming I need to suck it up and throw away a lot if stuff specially before the baby shower.. Ugh I'm not lookin fwd to it. I don't want to throw away shoes or anything I love my things and they love me, How is your extra room coming along?

Have you come to any conclusions on this sweating? I have the same problem and am on may meds for my joints. I was wondering if that had anything to do with that.

This might be a little silly of a question coming from someone that already has 2 kids but I've never used a crib before. Just bassinets and pack n plays until a year old, then toddler beds. Well I set one up today and the mattress doesn't fit how I'd like it to. There's a gap on every end unless I push it against one side, then there's a good 2inches left on one side, maybe 3. Is that normal? Should I push it against a rail and roll a blanket to fill in the gap?

Something similar happened to us. Expensive new mattress with mattress guard on was no problem. Put a new comforter from Ross on, got bites all on my ankles. It was horrible. I ran everything through the dryer and we used a fog bomb in the room. We used hot shot no mess fogger, the blue one and it really helped. Maybe that will help you while you exchange beds.

Best places to look is in the seems of your mattress, if you have bed bugs and you have holes or cuts in your mattress throw it out cause they will burrow in your mattress, bed bugs mate like rabbits if not worse! Also another place too look is under your cloths in your dresser, during the day they like to hide, during the night they make there feast, baby bed bugs can't be seen until they bite u and fill with blood. So I'm throwing up almost everyday my moms says its allergies but it started in winter and my only allergy is pollin so the throw up is stuff like normal just small but it's getting bigger like the one where u must stop get a trash can or toilet and be there for a while someone help idk what's happening.
