Avatar m tn Hi I have noted that within 24 hours of eating Dairy I get rectal pain just prior to a BM with blood on the exterior of my stool. Pathology comes back clean an no Haemorrhoids. I have tracked this symptom for some time and can confirm that it happens with increased cheese or yoghurt intake I dont drink milk ads it results in sever diarrhoea and stomach pain. with the cheese and yoghurt My BMs feel often sharp on passing and the blood bright, some times it appears slightly clotted.
Avatar f tn So for the past month I've had problems with stomach pain and eating any food. Literally any food I eat lately has me rushing me to the bathroom. Sometimes 30min after eating and sometimes 2 hours after eating, I'll all of a sudden get horrible stomach pains and have to rush to the bathroom. It's always diarrhea and it even makes me nauseous. At first I thought it was the dairy in foods, since almost everyone in my family is lactose intolerant.
Avatar f tn Definitely consider going gluten and dairy free. Everyone but one person I know with FM has trouble with gluten and dairy. Also, since going gluten and dairy free I don't have the major eczema flare ups on my hands any more.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else noticed a sensitivity to dairy while pregnant? I've got horrible nausea and vomiting and am on meds, but have noticed when I eat things with heavy milk in it, I feel horrible all night and normally and up getting sick... Prior to bring pregnant I didn't have an issue. I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow... Anyone else have this issue?

Avatar m tn Brush your teeth with toothpaste, floss with dental floss, and rinse with a mouthwash or salt water every day. New germs form in your mouth every day but the old ones leave just as fast if you keep your mouth and teeth clean regularly. If you have tooth decay, see the dentist to have it removed, and get a dental tooth cleaning every now and then.
1462394 tn?1285937517 Stay with the foods you can tolerate so you do not have attacks and eat low fat foods, too. Do you have issues with dairy products? If so, then use Soy products which are good substitution for dairy products. Recommend a Heart Healthy diet which is a moderate fat diet. You need approximately 2200 calories per day which is spread across 3-5 meals a day with snacks between meals.
Avatar m tn Could these be symptoms of detoxifying from dairy and/or cutting back the caffeine and sugar (I am down to one large mug of coffee a day from two or three)? Thanks.
Avatar m tn com/health/milk-allergy/DS01008 See a doctor or allergist if you experience food allergy symptoms shortly after eating. If possible, see your doctor when the allergic reaction is occurring. This will aid in making a diagnosis. Let us know if you need any other information and post us about what your doctor advises. Regards.
Avatar f tn It sounds possible you have some problems with the foods you're eating, possibly a gluten problem or intolerance to dairy or wheat or something like that. I say possible, I don't really know. Wheat and dairy allergies and intolerance are extremely common and can produce profound effects, including anxiety, so I'd suggest if you haven't done this already to see a doctor. While this could very well be anxiety, you do need to rule out physiological causes to know for sure.
Avatar f tn t freak out about it. Some people use no dairy, I just use non-fat dairy. Do what feels best for you. Look, it can't hurt you, but it could help you. Your choice!
Avatar f tn Is anyone trying a special diet? I'm asking because ever since I became pregnant, I've started to dislike a lot of foods that I normally would eat. To name a few, Eating beef, pork, and fried chicken makes me nauseous. I was thinking of trying a Carribean Diet during this pregnancy. I'm curious to know if anyone else is trying a diet.
Avatar f tn If you are eating a lot of soft foods and liquids (ie nothing solid) that may be contributing. The soft and liquid food goes through a person a lot faster than solid food. I did eat a lot of Greek yogurt, tons of it, but I always ate a piece of toast, a few whole grain rye crisps, thick chicken noodle or chicken and rice soup, anything that would add some actual solid food. I think it helps slow the food down as it passes through the GI tract.
Avatar f tn Any experienced moms know what foods to have more intake of or what eating tips I should follow this is my first pregnancy I'm 6 weeks and 4 days and want to have a healthy pregnancy

Avatar m tn I am lactose intolerant, appear to be gluten intolerant and also have issues eating large amounts of greasy foods or large amounts of meat. I am trying to weight train to build muscle but am having difficulty finding sources of protein and eating balanced meals. What should I eat for breakfast? I am worried about eating just eggs (even 1 yolk + 2 whites) every day because I have a crazy amount of heart disease in every man in my family.
Avatar f tn I have changed my diet many times and tried eating very strict clean diets with no dairy, sugar or gluten and it never makes a difference, in my ibs or acne. Help?
Avatar f tn You need to eat several servings of fruits and veggies every day, at least servings of low/no fat dairy (including milk, cheese, yogurt), lean meats and whole grains. If you eat a lot of sugar or items with white flour, such as candies, cookies, sodas, chips, white bread, etc, you will have a hard time losing weight, especially if you don't get enough exercise.
973741 tn?1342342773 Actually, only two ethnic groups in the world contain the enzyme that enables the digestion of dairy. You can ease that by eating cultured dairy products, which is what most people in the world do to get most of their dairy, such as yoghurt and cheese, but these would still be pro-inflammatory and hard to digest for most people. Those two ethnicities are one group in India and one in Scandanavia.
Avatar m tn Hello, I was needing help with trying to figure out the weird symptoms I have been having after eating. After eating certain things, particular salty foods and dairy, I have been getting lightheaded, headaches, change in vision, dizzy, and sometimes, nausea. I noticed when I eat the salty foods, I also get tense around my arms and ankles, and having head pressure and dizziness. The symptoms seem to sometimes affect me all over too, with tension throughout my body.
Avatar m tn Hi there, I've had similar issues. I've had to give up gluten and all other grains, plus corn and dairy. Taking Lactaid doesn't help me consume dairy, so I'm guessing it's the casein. Determining food sensitivities is a LOT of work, but it definitely can help. I'm right now trying to get back to giving up sugar. I've been on a sugar binge for a few weeks and my body is screaming!
Avatar f tn I'm 15 I've been having stomach issues whenever I ate something that contained dairy, but ever since I've stopped eating dairy I kept t getting pain where I can't use the bathroom properly, and whenever I had dairy I could use the bathroom properly but I was in pain cause of the dairy, can anyone tell me why this is happening?
Avatar f tn The first couple of months of my pregnancy I couldn't get enough dairy but then dairy would cause vomiting almost immediately after consumption. I am six months now and am very limited on dairy. I was at the doctors today and he said a lot of pregnant women go through this and to make sure to get calcium by other means.
