stress

Avatar f tn I had nausea, heartburn, constant fullness and pain in the stomach even after eating little amount of food, loss of the appetite, chronic fatigue (in the past I've also had candida infections). The doctor then told me that the problems were because of the exam stress. But more than a month has passed after finishing them and none of the symptoms has gone. I've surfed the Internet and came across an article about low stomach acidity.

Avatar n tn My stomach feels a little warm, Could this be something I have caused because of stress. I have taken a negative oraquick test a 8 days. I am at 22 days right now and still no other symptoms infact I have trouble sleeping. I am wondering could this be signs of stress, I took a HIV-1 RNA PCR Quantitive test on the 17th day and decided to wait for results until the 25th day when family is here. I plan to retake at three months.
Avatar f tn I have been having these same problems for the past 3 months now. My hair was literally falling out in chunks. I couldn't brush it or anything, and the constipation came about the same time. When i went to see my doctor about it he said it was strictly "stress", and that it would pass as my stress levels go down. I would suggest seeing your doctor and taking it from there.
Avatar f tn Don't want to sound like a broken record but I need help finding info. on how undue stress affects a chronic illness such as fms&cfs. I found some info. on John Hopkins site but it is not enough.
Avatar n tn For 6 months, I have been experiencing stomach pain, gas & occasion diarrhea. I have seen my primary physician and a gastro specialist. I have had an ultra-sound, endoscopy, cat scan and colonoscopy. Nothing significant has shown up and I still have the same symptoms. Nexium was prescribed. Any advice?
Avatar f tn t overdo it or you could upset his blood calcium balance. If his stomach problems ease then you could stop giving him the Tums. This will help if there is any hyperacidity in his stomach. Tums are pure calcium carbonate. I wouldn't use any other "human" indigestion remedies, as they contain other things which may be harmful to dogs.
601038 tn?1240252893 I did have stomach problems as well but i really don't think for that long...I lost an extremely amount of weight while using, and through detox....Then it was a fight to not gain back twice as much when i felt better....Now after i had my gallbladder out , that was a whole different story... Maybe one of the nurses can help here, I don't know what could be causing this...
Avatar n tn m usually a more mainstream medicine person, but I DO think when it comes to chronic GI problems, the docs really struggle to manage the conditions, and the meds out there (like prilosec, protonix, etc) really should only be used on a very limited, short term basis. People end up on those meds long term and sometimes end up causing more problems than they started with. Some people do genuinely have conditions that warrant those meds long term...but most people are taking them inappropriately.
Avatar n tn For past 6 months have had loud gurgling in stomach & chronic diarrihia. No pain whatsoever. I can eat whatever I want - no nauseau - but was often afraid to becuz I knew it would curtail any plans I had for the day. For a while, I was mostly housebound becuz of the runs. I have lived w/lupus for years w/out incident, so went to primary care m.d. first, who said stomach symptoms were possibly food poisioning or bacteria or perisite.

Avatar n tn I had chronic stress myself which affected stomach acid production. To no surprise... hello nutrient deficiencies. I too had iron deficiency anaemia. And low levels of other nutrients. As I take sublingual B12 spray daily for autoimmune pernicious anaemia I don't have to worry about B12 levels but if you do not have enough stomach acid you will not be absorbing B12. I had many of the symptoms you have listed from fatigue to numbness to memory loss to brain fog from B12 deficiency...
Avatar m tn The cause of chronic fatigue syndrome is unknown, although there are many theories — ranging from viral infections to psychological stress. Some experts believe chronic fatigue syndrome might be triggered by a combination of factors. There's no single test to confirm a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome. You may need a variety of medical tests to rule out other health problems that have similar symptoms. Treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome focuses on symptom relief.
1383964 tn?1279407558 Even though I was blood tested a couple months back to see if the EBV was active or dormant and the test came back dormant, I still suffer chronic nausea and chronic fatigue, symptoms that began when I tested positive for EBV. I've tried just about everything I can to get rid of this nausea and get my strength back. My main concern is eradicating the Nausea portion of it, which is why I put this under stomach conditions.
Avatar m tn My Gastro Doctor believes it is IBS due to stress so I have worked on that part (accupuncture, massage therapy, grief therapy) I work out every day and practice Yoga daily and have tried changing my diet a number of times. Avatar m tn Okay so for over a year and a half I have had chronic stomach problems. I can barely eat because of it, and find it hard to go out because I never know when I'm going to have a flareup, as I like to call it. It's really effecting my quality of life. I get nauseated nearly every time I put something in my stomach, I feel full and bloated, and it's just uncomfortable. Most of the time, my stomach gurgles up air (I can't burp), especially if I'm laying on my side.
Avatar f tn Heartburn/acid reflux is most commonly due to low stomach acid. I have been under a lot of chronic stress myself which has caused seriously low acid which has caused low nutrient levels notably iron (I have iron deficiency anaemia). The bloating from low acid is extreme after eating too. Then anal itching...TMI? lol I have been destressing with ASMR videos and taking betaine HCL with pepsin to increase stomach acid.
