231441 tn?1333892766 She did do examination and said it looked inflammed and there was some signs of chronic inflammation. Anyway, three weeks ago we did fungal culture which came back negative today. Now today she's saying it is just a nervous condition. She didn't do examination so I don't know if it's still inflammed, but it feels like it is. Anyway she prescribed an oestrogen cream, but I checked the containdications and breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Avatar f tn I go in and out of chronic pain cycles, but YES, I am able to break the chronic chronic pain cycles. If I am actually in a migraine cycle... there is nothing I can really do... other than take the migraine meds and pain meds and hope for the best... but, if I get into a chronic pain cycle after a migraine cycle ( low grade headaches or transformed migraines - mixed migraine/tension-type headaches ) ... I have learned how to get out of them.
Avatar f tn There is some research that links chronic stress to the body releasing the labour starting hormones but my dr said its more likely just to increase your blood pressure and make you unwell making intervention more necessary. Try to relax as much as possible and just think in the next 1-3wks you'll be cuddling your baby!
Avatar f tn My retinal specialist has been checking my epiretinal membrane every 2 months since last fall. The membrane seems to be very slowly lifting back, and we’re continuing to monitor it. Here's my question: I often need chiropractic treatments and massage therapy for a neck problem. Does lying facedown on a head cradle, with some amount of pressure on my eyeballs, have an adverse effect on the ERM attempting to pull itself off? Am I pressing the ERM back down into the retina?
Avatar m tn Yes the body makes noises: heart beating, lungs working, stomach rumbling, etc. Normally we don't pay attention to these. However under stress or anxiety or depression we can start to "home in " on these sounds to the point were it causes distress. The solution is to deal with the stress, anxiety, depression and don't direct them inward.
Avatar m tn What can be reasonably considered is that any supplement that supports lymphocytes cellular physiology, replication capacity and functional capacity is likely to help in the desired response and effect.Strong antiinflamatories are likely to reduce the desired immunstimulatory effect.
Avatar n tn How does crohn's and syncope fair with each disorder? My Daughter is scheduled for an electro physiology study, explain this procedure. This discussion is related to Syncopy.
Avatar n tn Unfortunately, reducing adrenaline production is a chemical process that would cause multiple problems for the human physiology. However, reducing stress and reducing the bodies REACTION to adrenaline is possible. That's what beta blockers do. They inhibit the adrenaline receptors in cardiac/muscle cells. This is one reason why they produce GENERAL sleepiness...the adrenaline is blocked in more than just the heart!!!! As for the stress...
Avatar n tn Based on the information you have provided, I do not think your PVC's are long-standing and benign, although they do cause you significant distress and anxiety. They are unlikely to represent coronary blockages. My recommendations are: 1. Find a better way to treat your anxiety and panic attacks. Alpraozolam (Xanax) is a short acting benzo with potential for dependence and withdrawal, leaving the patient worse off when not taking xanax.
Avatar n tn We live in a global society which makes it almost impossible to escape chronic stress-overload. It is the hypersensitive/hyperreactive individuals with, as Gabor Mate (Canadian M.D. and author) puts it, "emotional allergies", who are living out the roles of the canaries in this mine that is our world. A still-greater commitment in the medical community to awareness, education, and further research on the connection between emotional and physical health is crucial.
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm 34 have had Chronic fatigue syn for few years, anyway went to cardiology for orthostatic hypotension and they found some ASDs. In the meantime the Dr keeps telling me it's unrelated to my symptoms, however, after reading on the net the basic symptoms of symptomatic ASDs is chronic fatigue, exersise intolerance, breathlessness, which often appears in 3rd decade of life!!
Avatar n tn I received a report back from a nuclear stress test that it showed and abnormality in the front part of my heart. This was all the information I was given and they set me up with a cardilogist for later this week. Do you have any ideas of what this could mean....when I asked them they said that was all the report said.
1453933 tn?1285260910 While some amount of stress in unavoidable in our lives, trying to minimize chronic stress can really help out with a lot of health issues. Try hard to set aside a few minutes each day to do something that truly relaxes you; reading, hot bath, meditating etc. I like to sing at the top of my voice :-) Sounds trivial, but it might be the best thing you can do!! Good luck to you!!
Avatar f tn //www.heart.org/en/news/2020/02/04/chronic-stress-can-cause-heart-trouble While you don't have high blood pressure now, enough stress over time can lead to it. That can lead to heart attack. Also, when stressed, we sometimes don't take great care of ourselves. We may eat 'bad' food, we may not exercise, we don't sleep. all of this can play a role. Best to control the anxiety.
Avatar f tn although about 6 weeks ago i began to stress out and worry imensly about an event that took place in my life (worried about an illness i might have). i started to lose a little more weight and got under 200 lbs (something i could never do even when i tried). the thing was though was that i was eating fatty unhealthy foods. ive managed to get back up to around 213 but im still eating unhealthy and i cant seem to gain more weight, which was never a problem before.
