535822 tn?1443976780 I am working on losing weight and have found success in managing my daily calories to allow for a cup of hot chocolate each evening. I make it with skim milk and dark chocolate hot cocoa powder (Camino is awesome). It is healthy and I am good all day knowing I'm going to get that treat at the end of the day.
10275373 tn?1409333029 So I found this recipe and I plan on breast feeding and I thought this was useful cause I want to make a lot of milk for my baby so if u plan on breast feeding u may find this useful as well ... 1) Water OK, so water isn’t technically a food, but it is the most essential aspect of ensuring you’ll have an adequate milk supply. 645800 tn?1466860955 Today while out picking up some milk & bread I spotted some chocolate eclaires. I had not had any for years so I decided to pick some up. Oh were they good, I ate all 6 of them within a minute or two. As usual my creative mind took off while eating them, (maybe sweet things start the creative properties of my mind). Anyway I was thinking how good they would be if they were Chocolate Cheesecake Eclaires.
Avatar f tn for sour cream in a recipe (if you have a recipe that calls for sour cream this can usually be used) 2 Tbsp of lemon juice/ 1 cup of soy milk and let it sit 5 mins. If you have a dessert recipe that calls for milk, try coconut milk. I have found it works beautifully in chocolate cakes, brownies, and even tapioca pudding.

326352 tn?1310994295 You lucky girl! Doing okay, managed to lose a couple pounds this past week. Yesterday I started Core and I think it's going to work out okay although I am dying to try a recipe from Hungry Girl for chocolate chip pancakes. It'll cost me 4 points from my weekly allowance though. Gosh, I hate being on a budget and I have a real problem with chocolate. I agree, no liquid meals for me....I prefer to chew my food.
1026267 tn?1257591273 m not familiar with the low iodine diet, but I eat a non-inflammatory diet which recommends coconut milk. The only downside I know of is, coconut milk is packaged in cans, and most cans these days have been proven to contain/leach biosphenol-a. I have a recipe for coconut milk though, which is easier than almond milk.. (although I do make fresh almond milk every 2-3 days) 1 cup dried unsweetened coconut (Bobs Red Mill is one) 4 cups warm pure water Soak for 15 minutes.
Avatar f tn t be told you can never eat treats again, such as chocolate, or a cake. These are now a treat rather than a daily feast. If you eat a bar of chocolate twice a week, this is not going to affect your cholesterol.
9704378 tn?1553726192 This might be a silly question, but it's okay for the baby, right? I bought some this morning. I know regular milk is fine, but chocolate is "junk." I also bought some orange juice & water, so I think I should be fine.
1423357 tn?1511085442 ll eat an occasional hot dog, but chocolate milk, ice cream, milk shakes, sweets, and assorted junk foods like Doritos, cheese curls and packaged cookies; all things that we'd regard as not good are his staple. His protein intake is next to nothing. He is extremely thin and wiry, but doesn't appear to suffer from his choice of foods. Is there eanything we can do to expand his diet to include foods that are considered nutritional, or do we let him eat what he wants?
Avatar m tn t eat when I first wake up so I make a thick chocolate drink and it makes it easy for me. I use one cup whole milk (5g) and 3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream (15g) put in some nestles' quik and drink it down....very easy!
1406964 tn?1283203866 You are right. There have been quite a few studies on this. However, they claim it is the dark chocolate that does the trick and I don't like it. When I eat chocolate I like creamy milk chocolate and I don't care if it is good or bad for me, it is darn good!!
1959722 tn?1338778115 and we always have premade chocolate milk in the fridge but i want white milk with chocolate syrup... cause ya know its so much different!
Avatar f tn I cant drink regular milk , can I subsitute 2% milk with silk almond milk ?
Avatar f tn 1 cup of soy milk contains 8 g protein There are some fruits and veggies that have protein, but most are not significant sources. Split peas contain 16 g protein per serving, spinach has 13 and chickpeas have 8 g protein/serving. Avocados have 1 g protein per ounce. A medium peach has 2 g protein and 149 grams of dried figs have 5 g protein. I love avocado smoothies, but avocados have a lot of calories, so you have to watch that. Peaches would be okay.
