Avatar n tn I remember a time when I could eat pancakes and have chocolate milk and be fine. If I try that now, I get an emergency trip to the bathroom within about 30-45 minutes after eating. Is this a common problem after this surgery? What can I do to have pancakes again? Will this ever subside? Help.

Avatar n tn Studies in two prestigious scientific journals say dark chocolate -- but not white chocolate or milk chocolate -- is good for you. Dark Chocolate Lowers Blood Pressure Dark chocolate -- not white chocolate -- lowers high blood pressure, say Dirk Taubert, MD, PhD, and colleagues at the University of Cologne, Germany. Their report appears in the Aug. 27 issue of The Journal of the American Medical Association. But that's no license to go on a chocolate binge.
Avatar f tn t be told you can never eat treats again, such as chocolate, or a cake. These are now a treat rather than a daily feast. If you eat a bar of chocolate twice a week, this is not going to affect your cholesterol.

Avatar n tn My rabbit goes mad for the milk-based yoghurt drops and if you leave chocolate on the sofa, he will jump up and eat this before you have a chance to get it away from him. When I started to introduce fresh food, I was advised the following from my Vet. * Introduce one at a time, in small quantities at first * Build up gradually; aim to feed a selection every day * Keep your rabbit's vaccinations up to date, especially if you're out collecting weeds!
1406964 tn?1283203866 You are right. There have been quite a few studies on this. However, they claim it is the dark chocolate that does the trick and I don't like it. When I eat chocolate I like creamy milk chocolate and I don't care if it is good or bad for me, it is darn good!!
748902 tn?1286034758 I love this, I laughed so much Toddler Miracle Diet The trouble with most diets is that you don't get enough to eat (the starvation diet), you don't get enough variation (the liquid diet) or you go broke (the all- meat diet). Consequently, people tend to cheat on their diets, or quit after 3 days. Well, now there's the new Toddler Miracle Diet! Over the years you may have noticed that most two-years-olds are trim.
Avatar n tn Oh you can try this too, Silk has a Chocolate Almond Milk, which we give to our son maybe once a day or so as a treat. He gets the calcium from the almond milk and the antioxidants from the cocoa. But yes like margypops said healthy food, even frozen yogurts can be something fun too for them to try. Let us know what works.
Avatar f tn -(the first weeks i did such as apples and peanut butter. Mexican food sounds delicious. Anything does honestly. I heard its bad to eat hot sauce but i use it a lot still. I dont get heart burn from it.

Avatar f tn Because I cant drink milk or anything but can eat ice cream. I've been craving ice cream a lot and its because I'm not getting enough calcium and that's what my baby girl needs right now. I wish I could be "normal" and eat yogurt or drink milk but the taste has always made me sick. I like cereal but can't have milk with it. I don't eat a lot cheese either.

203342 tn?1328737207 Some things are more obvious than others. I know, for instance, that if I eat anything fried I will definitely regret it. I also know that some milk products give me bad stomaches, like milk and ice cream, although I can eat yogurt.I guess I can't eat salads very well but I love them so I will eat them once in awhile, then get a stomache and diarrhea afterwards. Last night I ate a Veggie Delite sandwich from Subways and have been having major stomaches and diarrhea all day.
Avatar f tn My daughter has trouble eating. She is taking Purple Coneflower Root (Echinacea) which gives her an appetite. She is also taking a Whey protein shake twice a day to get the calories she needs to gain weight. She gags if she eats too fast or too much and it can make her vomit. It can't be the regular Echinacea - it has to be the root. It makes her hungry enough that she doesn't forget to eat. - Hope this helps you too.
Avatar n tn I have heard that low fat diets are a good idea
5986700 tn?1380791380 My advice, eat what you want. Although you're getting some good clean time under your belt, your body is still recovering. Keep nourished, eat alot, and you'll feel better. I couldn't eat until the evening of day 4, then suddenly I couldn't get enough. The more I ate, the better I felt. That all eventually got back to normal.
268911 tn?1213744781 i agree with you. most of us with anxiety know to stay away from caffeine and foods that contain suger. i try to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. i don't eat meat or drink milk, i drink soy milk. and i try to buy organic when i can. i think alot of people are becoming more aware of what's going on with our food supply. it's a shame that it's going on at all. take care.
8355018 tn?1410790463 I wish my craving would change every so often, afraid I'm going to put on soo much weight with all this chocolate lol I try not to eat it too much but I think about it all day and constantly sending my boyfriend out to buy me some
1399033 tn?1449587779 I wanted all sour and salty things with the exception of chocolate milk. I think he came out expecting choc. milk lol.. My second I was opposite. I wanted everything sweet.. Nothing sour. He came out sweet as can be with an attitude! lol :)) This pregnancy I'm on the fence. It hasn't hit too hard yet with one way or another but I'm more towards the sweet/salty side right now. I was just wanting some honey bbq wings from Zaxby's really bad.
3113201 tn?1341780938 Regarding my diet, every morning I eat 1 cup of yougurt, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast, a banana (if they have any), egg whites (enough to cover half a plate I guess), and a glass of chocolate milk. For lunch I eat a grilled chicken sandwich with provolone cheese and spinach on wheat bread, a small bowl of vegetables (varies), and a glass of water. For dinner, I eat the same things I ate for lunch. I have stopped eating anything sweet, unless its a fruit. Thus, no cookie, ice cream, etc.
Avatar f tn Chocolate is actually good for you; opt for the dark chocolate, rather than milk chocolate, which is full of sugar. When you eat a piece of chocolate, sit down and concentrate on it, really savor it... that should satisfy you, so you won't go overboard. Don't lose any weight.
