I have pitted edema in my left leg that nearly goes away some days, and is really bad on others, I have a tightness in my chest dead center on the sternum, seems to go away sometimes, but is there most of the time. I just noticed purple areas showing up on my left foot by my heel as well. I feel like I always have to take a deep breath, and I am constantly clearing my throat.

I have been suffering from tight chest and pressure in the head for the last 10 years.
I get this tightness and pressure immediately after eating or drinking anything. Because it has been happening for so many years, I have the pain for all most 24/7/365.
My heart was tested but cardiac problems were ruled out.
Food allergy tests were also negative.
GI thinks that I have acid reflux. I recently had upper endoscopy and everything looked ok. I am still waiting for biopsy results.
I am sixteen years old. I am an asthmatic, although it rarely troubles me and I use my inhaler on a very rare basis. I have been on and off sick with the flu and I'm relatively sure I haven't recovered one hundred percent. However, lately I have begun to feel a significant tightness of my chest - to the point where it's panicking. There is also pain in the left side of my chest and the sensation of pins and needles.
I saw a doctor who examined the leg, no swelling, no redness. I have asthma and have been dealing with chest tightness/coughing for months but felt as if it was worse with the calf pain. Genuinely thought I had a blood clot in my leg and lungs. No risk factors but my anxiety has convinced me I have it. I went to a&e and they examined both legs, measuring size difference. Nothing abnormal, they also did an EKG which was also fine, along with 3 blood tests.
I have been having re-occuring chest pain mostly on the right side, and tightness across the chest, usually induced by emotional stress, but occuring at other times also. No hyperventilation occurs during these spells. Also, everytime I get out of the bathtub, my lower legs are throbbing and have stabbing pains across them. This also occurs before I have chest pains. I've been getting dizzy lately, and having head-rushes everytime I stand up.
Hey all. I'm 34 yrs old and I am overweight BMI 40. I have been having chest pain on my left side. It also shoots to my left armpit, side of left breast and I have numbness and tightness down my forearm into my hand. I went to urgent care on Friday and all I got was a high WBC indicating I have an infection somewhere! So I went to the ER and that dr, didn't seem to worried at all. Now it's Sunday and I still have pain tightness and heaviness.
Any suggestion for decreasing the pain in the leg from the Avonex shot. I am still experiencing pain in my left leg 4 days after the shot.
I do not experience any flu like symptoms after the shot. I experience tightening in the chest for 10 minutes (48 hours after the shot). I also experience tightness in my lower back under my shoulder 24 - 48 hours after the shot.
hello can anyone please help me, i had bypass sugery three weeks ago, when i left hospital my chest was still numb, the last couple of days my incision site feels very tight and sore and very sensitive to the point where i cant stand anything even a light shirt on it,i am regaining some feeling back in my chest, there is no sign of infection,though the incision site is still not fully healed, by the way i am a 53 year old woman, many thanks to anyone that can help me with this
today i started getting this tightness squeezing sensation in my chest in the middle that was 7 hours ago and im still having it i have been having palpitations for a long time now but never chest tightness and i have been lightheaded with headaches for awhile to i saw my primary doctor and i saw my cardiologist twice she did a echocardiogram gram a ekg and a 48 holter monitor i also had a chest x ray done and had my blood taken and everything was normal im writing this now because im trying to
It only bothered me for the next 24 hours when sitting or laying down. On Tuesday the same exact pain then went to the right leg in the same area with some muscle tightness. Wednesday morning I woke up in the middle of the night with a throbbing behind the knee. Wednesday afternoon I got a quick pins and needs down my right arm and decide to go to the hospital. The hospital ruled out DVT and my blood test were normal and they said to follow up with a nuroelogist.
t eat much and not sleeping well, reason why was that i was worried about pain that was in my testicle but found out that is was a epidyimal cyst and that it was nothing to worry about. Now i am back to my routine and seem to be having some chest tightness. I am wondering if it was from all the stress i was putting myself under or is it probably from my ablation and it is just healing? Idk I go see the doctor who performed my ablation on friday.
It has been always five weeks since I was discharged from hospital now and since then I have developed chest tightness in the central region each time I take a deep breath. I also notice that I now feel tire easily and can't do any strenous work as my chest area feel kind of tight and tender.
The latest x-ray results (two days ago) showed nothing and the nurse told me that my lungs are all clear.
But right now as I write, I feel something not normal with my chest as it feels tight.
Simply lay on your back, then take your right foot and move it over your left leg right above the knee, then pull slightly toward your chest until you feel
tightness. Hold for 15 seconds, then repeat the same process with your other leg.
