what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .
went to doc today for right side and right back area hurting.. I have hep c 1A and they did urine sample and liver panel with ast and alt... just one was slightly elevated.. Iam really scared.. they think I may have strained my back... in which I didn't tell them I been moving a whole house... but it radiates to the front area.. just worried I guess.. sorry to bother anyone..
I have an extremely sharp pain on the right side of my chest when getting out of bed. It starts to hurt when I lay on my sides. When I try to roll over, the pain shoots through my right side. And when I try to get up and out of bed, I can only move an inch or two at a time getting up. Once I get on my feet, it goes away after a minute or so. The pain is so bad it feels like being electrocuted.
ok so i have a pain in my back upper left side, and sometimes pain in my chest on the same side. im 22 years old and have no prior health problems.
whenever i lay on my side i feel like a burning sensation and almost a faint kind of feeling. same when i lay on my stomach , right or left sides. i also eperience pain in the back and random pains in the chest.. some times left arm pains..
i dont really have an overall sense of well being and this really freaks me out.
Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.
the pain is in my left side, not all the time only sometimes..also sometimes when i breath heavy or take a deep breath..the pain is anywhere from right below my rib cage to the shoulder blade on my left side back!! Im only 17 and i had went to the dr and i had UTI took all my meds but im still having the problem..I sleep only on my left side so i thought it could be sleeping on it wrong..or just the anxiety that i suffer from..or maybe nerves considering i have been under alot of stress..
I have middle back pain on right side which extends to right shoulder and right hand and even sometimes in sides of the chest.

what could be the possible cause.i have not yet gone to a doctor a s i thought it might be due to wrong sleeping habits.
I have had pain on the right side of my chest for the past 3 weeks. It came on suddenly and feels like my chest is bruised. It hurts when I inhale, cough, sneeze or move the "wrong" way. Today it is really bothering me, I am feeling a lot of pressure and throbbing. Can someone give me a clue as to what this may be? I have a doctor's appt. thurs, maybe I can give my doctor an idea.
Hello! I have been having a dull aching pain in my chest mainly left side, back pain and some occasional arm pain. I do have GERD and had my gallbladder out in 2003. I saw my doc and she thinks its just a flare up of GERDs but has set me up to have a stress echo. I am driving myself nuts wondering is the heart related, am i ignoring signs of a heart condition. My doc doesnt seem so worried but i have small children and cant help but wonder am i taking the right measures promptly.
I had open heart surgery about 3 years ago and have been doing great. But in April of this year I started to get chest pain and went to the E.R. but after all day in the hospital the conclusion was that it was not my heart. My cardiologist agrees.
The pain is mostly on the left side of my chest and also straight back the pain is just to the right of my scapula like it"s going straight through my body.
I have had intermittant pain in my right side for 25 years, since I was 19. I had my gall bladder checked out 10 years ago and nothing was found. I coincidently have drank regulary for the same amount of time since I was 19. My liver function tests all come back normal, as I have one done every year, however, the last test a year ago showed a little elevated, in the high 40's. During an ultrasound fatty liver was discovered. I am also overweight.
Ive had this niggling pain in my right side half way up the ribs for a few weeks on and off then 9 days ago it was quite severe. I was admitted to hospital where they said it was gallstones, an ultrasound showed nothing. I came home after one night. My chest xray was clear. The camera into my stomach showed gastritis, ( inflammation of the lining of my stomach). Gp thinks its inflammation of the intercostal muscles but it doesn't hurt when i move, when i eat i get severe pain.
I was put on my second antibiotic, the pain in lower back finally ceased, but I still have the pain in side and back. Also, I have pain in both feet and legs, mostly tingling in legs, but feet hurt on top and especially my big toes. Did you have any of these symptoms? I feel sluggish and don't sleep very well at night, and sweats.
now, I have back pain between the shoulder blades and just under them, and pain in the centre of my chest permiating primarily to the right side of my chest. the pain seems to be where my lung is and deep breaths occasionly hurt. the pain in my chest feels like its in my ribs but its hard to tell, but my back pain feels deep, in my chest. any idea what the cause is? I've had an EKG (not sure if thats right but its the heart test) and its perfect.
I have a lingering pain (about 3 weeks now) in my back. It's on the right side, just below my rib cage and even around on the right side of my rib cage. It really only bothers me when i take a deep breath. I am having an ultrasound and chest x ray Monday. Might this be pleurisy?
Also, I have a very bloated feeling in my upper abdomen and even kind of up under my right ribcage.
