chest pain left side above heart

I'm a 23 yr old male, 6ft and weight 205lbs. I have been experiencing this left side chest pain for over 2 years now. The past year and a half, I have been in the charity system and had multiple test including, echo's, blood work, stress test, holter monitors, ekgs. I recently just got insurance and got established with a family Doc, been seeing hime about 3 months. I've had an ekg, holter monitor, and blood work done through him.

( i also had a terrible migraine the past 2 days, which is finally gone, and my right upper arm was hurting several days prior TO THIS NEW PAIN, BUT IS JUST A DULL PAIN NOW THAT THE LEFT CHEST/ABOVE BREAST PAIN HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE MIX.) PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!! I DONT KNOW IF I HAVE A PULLED MUSCLE, PNEUMONIA, OR I AM HAVING A HEART ATTACK!! IT HURTS EVEN TO MOVE/BREATHE!!

for the past 2 nights i have been woken with a sharp pain in my left side under my chest bone, this has then moved into my arm making it feel weak as though the blood isnt flowing properly, i have put off going to emergancy rooms as i feel that i am just going to be told its my anxiety. Help im concerned dont no who else to turn to.

I have pain on the left side of my chest about 1 inch above the nipple. Sometimes it is really sore, others i only notice it if i push to see if it still hurts. I am worried that it might have somthing to do with an artery or vein or something. It is not a sharp pain or anything but it is always atleast sore deep inside the left side of my chest. I am 46 years old.

its been little over a year i been having pain in my chest (left side) right above the nipples. some times i also feel burning kind of pain in my back (Right behind where it hurts from front). Funny thing is i cannot simulate pain when i rub or press the Spot, but internally i feel kind of soreness or maybe discomfort. i went to many different doctor and did blood tests, ECG, Sonogram of heart , but everything came out normal.

She had hypertension. Three days ago she felt severe pain, irradiating in the left neck, shoulder region and left side of the body till the left kidney level. Also she had difficulty with breathing - it was painfull to her to inhail. We drive her to emergency, they excluded the problem with the hurt, performed different analises, the possible diagnozies is pneumonia with pleurities, but without incresed leukocytes count. The pain is still present. She was prescribed antibiotics.

last night i felt alot of pain in my left side of my chest and the pain increases with mov't and breathing so i thought this is anew problem coz the side is above the heart or may be the heart its self so that i need ur advice.....

It feels worse and different than the last chest pain I had. This one is like in my back and all over the left side of my chest. I know that all the tests came back fine but now I'm just not convinced. I can literally feel my arteries being blocked which is what could be causing the pain.

Im a 24 yr old male, 205lbs, 6ft, cholesterol 245. I'm a very inactive person for about 4 years now, and I noticed that I can minor activities and be winded and have a fast heart rate that I can feel without putting my hand on my chest, and I also can feel it in my throat and everywhere else where you can feel your pulse. Just by walking up a flight of stairs I get super winded. I've been having recurrent localized left side chest pain for about 2 yrs now.

I hurt terribly above my ribs, right below my chest. Pain has spread to left shoulder, but also right at times, left is just worse. I see above that each side dictates to either cardiovascular or stomach. I'm 36 yr old male. A bit overweight. I'm thinking it's gas, and not a serious condition. I can lay on one side and release gas. Id appreciate any feedback.

Hi there, I can hear and understand that you are very frustrated and the "not knowing what is wrong" part can make one feel depressed and anxious at times. Typical heart pains, funny enough, will not be at the left side of your chest. It sounds like you have a nerve that is stuck somewhere and have you ever considered seing a Neurologist for an MRI? I am talking out of experience...

It's very localized to one spot on the left side of my chest and doesn't reproduce the pain from pressing in the area. I've seen 4 cardiologist, and 2 cardiologist nurse practioners.

It always seems to act up worse when I am in anxiety mode. But it is always on my left side... started above my left breast, very site specific. My EP and cardio said it is not heart related..... My primary care had blood work, CT Scan of my chest with dye, sonagram of all my "upper" stuff, gallbladder, etc., MRI of my neck, xray of my back.... And all come up empty handed except for slight disc protrusion in my neck.

s are for. I have a hiatal hernia and it gives me chest pain in the mid-left side, pretty bad at that. One thing you can do in the meantime is keep an eye on your BP and heart rate, but definitely see your Dr.

Ok I'm dumb,i should have asked dr oro this, but I forgot. I have had several bouts of chest pain over the last year and my heart has been checked out and I've had several ct scans they could never find the cause. It is more under the nipple to left side of my chest and left arm sometimes. I also get pain in my back sort of between shoulder blades when it is really bad. I have had ekg, reads normal ,BP 123/87 no shortness of breath. My cholesterol levels, bad cholesterol was below slightly do not remember exact number. Hi, I am 27 years and over the last year and a half I have been experiencing this sharp pain in what feels like the left hand side of my heart. It is approximately half way up my rib cage on the left hand side and about an hour and a half to two hours later I started to get a really heavy slow heart beat. Is anyone able to tell me what this could be??

After I left about an hour and half later I started experiencing the same symptoms I have been for awhile now, the localized left side chest pain, in the area right over where my heart is located, and the pain extends down into my left arm and lasts about an hour or so. Could this be heart related???
