Today I am trying to get an appointment with an allergist. I just want the chest pain to go away. The hives I can deal with! I told the older doctor that I had looked up on line and found quite a few people who have chest pain with hives; I'm not the only one. All he said was, "hmmm no doubt"...... Unfortunately, the one on the internet are also looking for answers and there seems to be too few of them out there.

You seemed to be having hives. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.

About five weeks ago, I broke out in hives, my lips swelled up and I experienced chest pain and stomach pain with vomiting. This is now happening every 48 hours or so and I'm constantly covered in hives. I saw a doctor who referred me to an allergist. The allergist suspected a thyroid-related autoimmune disorder and my anti-thyroid antibody blood test (TPO AB) came back at 1374.

he gets a warm sensation first and knows its coming...they usually last about an hour. doctors say hives...but no cure, now his upper chest and up to the top of his head turn bright red like a sunburn he got really hot for about two hours this lasted...really worried something is going on..can you help?
With the chest pain and hives I would suggest that she make a visit to the ER when those occur. They really need to be addressed. Is she seeing a rheumatologist on a regular basis for testing? It is important that she be flaring when she goes as it is more likely to show up in her bloodwork and lead to a diagnosis. She should go in the sun for a few days before, find ways to stress herself (scary movies) and do a lot of physical activity beforehand.
s house yesterday and all of the sudden he breaks out in HIVES! Or, at least they look like hives. When he was younger, he had his spleen removed and was required to take penicillin every day since his immune system is weak without his spleen (which he stopped taking it every day a few years ago :/... ) I have never seen this boy break out in hives and all of a sudden--BOOM! Here they are. He says that his palms are the worst. He says they itch very badly, and it is painful to grab stuff.
Sorry! To answer your questions these things can aggrevate my hives. Taking a hot shower, tight clothing and picking at the skin. If I pick at a pimple on my face, it turns into a hive. My leg pain comes and goes. The doctors only prescribed the antihistamines reactine. That's it that's all. Most of the hives show up on my face, chest and arms only. The rash I had back in August, never came back. I am puzzled. Thank you so much for your support!!!
okay, after reading this I have to say my problems are a bit similar. My rash started two months ago on my back. I thought from dry skin as the months progressed it spread to my chest, arms, hips, butt, thighs. Family doctor ruled out scabies and shingles. Starting me out with a cream, which didn't work, to peridzone pack which not only didn't work but gave me bad side effects.
I had hives that were just hives, but they were only on arms legs and upper chest.
Earlier tonight I noticed that my chest looked a little irritated, and now there are little red spots spreading all over my chest, the majority above each breast. I've never had anything like this before, and my doctor's office doesn't open until 8am tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas???

Over the last couple of days (5+ weeks since exposure) I've started getting really itchy hives on my chest and neck. I seem to have broken out (red whiteheads) on my chest. Naturally, the hives have made me worry again.

Most tend to be flesh colored, but my chest is usually red and sometimes the hives on my face will get red around them. They do not look like flea bites and we don't have bed bugs. They are flesh colored hives with what usually appears to be a brown freckle in the middle. I also have stopped using laundry detergent. They tend to get a lot worse at night when I am stuck inside.
Within a couple hours I was shaky, which sucked since I was at work. Later that day I started to have a bit of chest pain. Once I was able to relax it went away. Later I woke up at 5am and found it a bit hard to breathe, kind of like I couldn't catch my breath. Do these symptoms sound familiar to any other Zoloft users? Do these feelings go away?
I am 16 years old and a week ago i got hives my mom says i am allegic to something and left it be.
A few days after i got the hives i got the back pains, a day or two after that i got abdominals pain and more recently i got chest pains...I don't know what is wrong for me and ever time i ask my mom to take me to the doctor she says there is nothing wrong with me.
