It could be something like a pulled muscle, but have it checked out. Chest pain, especially intense pain in that reigon, should not go unreported. Good luck and please let us know what your doctor says.

i have no cholestrol,no chest pains and i dont smoke.my echo is also clear.i take walks regularly and play golf. is it normal or do i need medical attention??

I reached around in my back seat to get something out of my golf bag. It was buried pretty deep so I really had to stretch for it. My chest was facing the right side of my steering wheel and my right arm was straight back. As I was stretching to retrieve what I was getting I felt a pinch about two inches under my nipple more towards my right side. I was worried it may start hurting soon but I played golf all day and then played all day on Wed.

t think it is muscular skeletal because I can swing a golf club, baseball bat with no pain. But once my heart rate goes up with exercise, the pain starts. Any ideas? Any suggestions of tests that should be done? Thanks.

Have undiagnosed chest pain for several years but worsening significantly in last 6 months. Pain extends along an area from just below xiphoid process laterally to left chest wall and into left arm, especially around elbow joint. Pain is best described as crushing or tightening band. Inhalation is uneventful but exhaling sometimes adds pain. At initial presentation 8 years ago, occurred infrequently and recovery was rapid. Over last 6 - 10 months frequency has increased to multiple times daily.

I plan a double bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. What is the recovery? When should I be able to play golf? Exercise? Thanks.

Hello Eve, Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am sorry that your husband is experiencing hip pain. It's so stressful when our husbands are hurting or ill and refuse to seek medical care. I too have one just like that. The hip contains the largest bursae in the human body. When it becomes inflamed the pain can be excruciating. I'm wondering if he has hip bursitis. If he does, often a simply (not painful) injection of a steroid into the hip can clear it up like magic.

I have had pain in my left trap for a little over 5 years now, it also sometime radiates to my upper trap. I've been to all kinds of Doctors (orthopedics, sports medicine and a chiropractor) and no one can seem to help. I have tried RICE, I have tried stretching my pectoral muscles but that only seems to irritate my traps more after i have done the stretches.

OH - and yet again various lymph nodes are swelling to the size of golf balls! UGH! I had my doctor check out some spots on my chest, which turned out to be eczema. I recovered almost completely from a dilated left ventricle. The underlying cause was ischemic meaning there was in adequate blood flow to an area of the heart that caused an impairment of heart wall movement and as a consequence less blood was pumped with each heart beat. Medication and stent provided sufficient blood flow and the left ventricle size returned to normal and the ventricle pumped sufficiently.

While playing golf I noted a discomfort (slight pain) in my right side Back and front. I have also been having indigestion, slight nasuea, and some chest pains which seem like gas pains. I got my D&C done on Monday morning, after miscarrying a couple weeks ago. Tuesday I was back in the hospital for severe pain. I wasnt bleeding at all though after the procedure. They found nothing. Gave me pain meds and antibiotic just in case. All wednesday night I couldnt sleep because of severe cramping. I had started to bleed that night. In the morning I passed a clot the size of a golf ball. Then yesterday, the same.

Also if I pull my knee up to my chest if I feel pain in my groin on my right side almost like a a burning feeling.

My daughter has been in the Jr Golf out at the golf course that her grandparents belong to. She has done so well.She has been playing since age 6..She"s 12 now. So last night, she had a tournament called "Glow Ball".They play 5 holes then it gets dark and they play with glowing golf balls... They take the really skilled 18-hole players, the 9-hole players and the 4-hole players and put the 3 on a team. There was about 20 teams.. So, I had PT yesterday which really kicked my butt.

My problem is that one time I went to a golf pro shop and spent 4 hours smacking the golf ball as hard as I could almost too where I had a small pain in my chest and it was hard to breathe for a split second. And if I couldn’t get more stupid I went the next day and did it again. I had to choose a golf club for a class so that is why I pushed myself. I know that was kind of stupid.

Just played golf now I'm cramping and my back hurts a lot you don't think I should stop playing golf ?
