He has been suffering from chest pain that is starting to scare him. It seems that he is set into a panic once this pain starts I think it is due to stress, but he isn't so sure. He is only 24 years old, and says that it is a sharp pain that is worse when he breathes in. Could this be stress related?
I recently had very bad chest pains and consulted a doctor who wanted to give me an injection on the chest,which I refused.the pain felt like something was choking and at the same time I had tterrible backpain and headache.I went to a 2nd doctor who gave me painkillers but couldn't diagnose me.could it be a heart condition?
I am a 23 year old female-nonsmoker/nondrinker/normal BMI who began having chest pain 4 months ago. I believe the pain was initially onset due to stress (I was switching jobs at the time). Stress is gone (went back to old job) but pain remains: blood test (hepatitis, h pylori), EKG, gall bladder/liver function, echo cardio/stress are all normal. I have been treated with arthritis medication for costocondritis and been perscribed both prilocec and nexium with no help.
t taste right, the next day I had diarrhea really bad was back and too from the toilet, then a couple of days went by bearing in mind I still have diarrhoea, I started experiencing a sharpe pain on my right side of the chest just below my ribs, so then a couple of days after that I still have bad diarrhoea and this share pain started to travel it was still below the right side of my ribs and also in the middle below my ribs, but I also then noticed it was in my back on the right traveling throug
Good day. I've been suffering from chest pain for a couple of months now.
When ever I hold my breath and let all the wind out of my lungs and squeeze my chest it will give me pain on and around my sternum. If I turn my head sharply I will feel pain on the right side. But what hurts me the most is when I push down on my sternum or pull an object into my sternum. Nothing shows up in xrays and the doctors just keep sending me away without telling me anything. Does anyone know what this could be? It also does hurt in my back on the right side when everything hurts.
She should have an electrocardiogram (ECG) as part of her chest pain evaluation (and perhaps a chest x-ray if she is fatigued) and then you and your doctor can decide if she needs to go back to see a cardiologist based upon the type and timing of her chest pain, and what studies were performed in the past.
i have been having lung pain,night sweats,fitful sleep,been feeling bad all together flu like symptoms.Ive had ct,bronscopy,x ray all clear but still feeling bad does any one have any sugestions.i have been to Puliminary dr one said rib cartliage,one said no so what do you think.

I have to agree with everyone that has posted. Please see a GI specialist. I've had my gallbladder removed which caused horrible pain in my chest and my throat and just recently I've had a lot of chest discomfort and pain in my belly and they did a scope and found out that I have a hernia. With your symptoms that you're having it would definitely be a good thing for them to look at you.

However, when there is chest pain when taking a deep breath can be due to costochondritis....pulled muscle in the chest wall, inflammation of cartilage of chest wall, good be irritation of lung lining, etc. other pulomonary issues.
You may want to get physical evaluation, as a heart problem can't be ruled out, and/or pulmonary malady.
The right side of my throat is still very sore after more than 2 weeks, and the pain radiates throughout behind my jaw and right ear. I think I may have an abscess tonsil, and I learned that that's a symptom of hiv. I will get tested at the 3 month mark, but until then may I please have some more advice. My questions are as follows: Do my symptoms sound like ARS? If there were poked holes in the condom does that still put me at risk as the insertive partner?
For about the past year and a half, I have had chest pressure in the same spot in the middle of my chest about 85% of the time. I also experience isolated early heartbeats, or sometimes many early beats in a row and this is of course frightening. These 2 symptoms seem to get worse and better together, the pressure and palps. I also experience heartburn, but only sometimes, and the other symptoms are almost ALL the time.
I sandblasted for about 3 yrs I have been having chest pains for about 6 months on the right lower rib area I have had my gallblader out.I have had ct,hrct,x rays,sperimeter test no ashma.I was wondering if I could still have silicosis with a clear ct,etc.
But for the past several months, I would guess around 4-6, I have been noticing slight pain in my chest. The closest I can describe it is it happens without warning, nothing serious, but I guess you could say its like the feeling you get in your stomache of driving over a hill quickly, only the feeling is in my lower and center, left chest area. There is also a slight sensation of not enough oxygen and pressure.
