chest congestion on one side

For about a year now I have had a cough and chest congestion, my doctor has switched my asthma medications several times thinking that might be the reason for my cough and congestion, she's tried many different types of allery medications, I have been to the pulmonologist, had a chest x-ray and nothing was found, but the cough and congestion I still have.

I have severe chest congestion. This has been going on for about 3 months. It's strange because I will have constant congestion and cough one day and the next day I will be almost clear. I know that if I have congestion one day the next day I will not. I plan my days accordingly. My dr. has put me on antiboitics and presidone twice in the last 3 months, I've had a chest x-ray last week, shows nothing. I have had allergies all my life.

I have had some symptoms including tinngling, numbness in my tongure, soreness on the end of my tongue. I have had some head and chest congestion and yesterday started feeling a tingling sensation in my chest that felt like I could be wheezing. I am in a committed relationship and would like to move forward. I am scared. I admit it and am scared. Can you help me know how to go forward?

I'm having Left Side Chest Pain Continuously For 4 Days.Not Heart related(ECG report ok). It Increases If I Turn Left And Goes Away Almost 95% If I Turn Right.I Had Lung Infection 2 Months Ago (Treated). Breathing Does Not Effect It.But it pains quite a lot.I Had cold the day before it started.doctor said some muscle or rib growth may be causing the pain. He gave me painkillers.But my pain did not go away a bit.I had them just once today.

What it feels like is the chronic post nasal drip I have has caused congestion in my upper chest. However, the weird part is, I really have no cough, and the occasional cough has never brought anything up. In the past, if my chest begins to feel this way, it is followed by the painful cough and coughing stuff up. I would not call what I have sometimes as pain, it feels more like irritation. When I am active, as well as when I drink a lot of water, it seems to be much better.

I was only on this side effect for 3 days, and it was making me feel like I was hyperventilating a lot. Like I was taking shallow breaths but more rapidly. My mo, called the doctor and I got off it and inhale been off it for a week now, and it's not any better. I feel like I'm hyperventilating a lot, but also taking deep breaths and my chest feels congested whenever I go through these 'episodes' as I call them.

I have this tightness in my chest i kno its mucus but i dont have a cough or cold it hurts when i try to take a deep breath ive never had chest congestion before im not coughing up blood or anything like that. ive been using my asthma pump because when i was younger i had trouble with asthma it helps clearing my airways so i can breath easier but it comes back after awhile. It gets worsr i suffer from it daily im 30+4 during the day i dont use anything at night i but some vapor rub/vicks on my chest and dress warmly.

My question is the the last 3 months as I am laying down for a while I get a gurggle feeling in my chest and it almost feels like congestion so I make a cough to see if that would help and I have no congestion at all and the cough doesnt help. I even feel the thumps and bangs of PVCs there, much like some of you probably feel them in the center or left chest and even stomach sometimes (me, too). When the pressure gets real bad, the whole right side of my body and especially the right side of my head feels pressured and usually painful.

My mom has had really bad chest congestion and coughing for about 3 weeks now. She also has some chest tightness. She sounded terrible today when I called her. I'm worried because she had 3 stints put in her heart about 3 years ago and has heart disease. Could the chest congestion have anything to do with her heart? I just moved to Denver from Chicago. Right before we left, I could tell I had a sinus infection, as I have a long history of sinus issues. I also have stomach issues, history of a couple ulcers. A couple of ENT's have told me I have obvious signs of GERD, though I don't often have indigestion, sometimes I can taste acid in the morning. Anyway, I saw a doc when I arrived in Denver and she gave me Biaxin for the sinus infection. Only it doesn't seem to have cleared up.

I am a 66 year old female. I smoke a few cigarettes a day. I have had this for about 5 weeks now. It started with sneezing and runny nose (along with sinus congestion that is almost always present even before this episode). The sneezing and runny nose are gone. I am so stuffed up that I cannot get much air through either nostril. This is an ongoing problem that was present when this began.

I have been using Warfarin for many years and only after the troublesome nose bleed a couple of months back did I start getting some blood when blowing nose hard.. and only on the left side, the side that had the bleed problem. There must be something weak on that blood barrier. The ENT didn't want to do and cauterization work following the troublesome nose bleed..it may be (don't remember) the is nothing to cauterize as the whole area is just "weak"...

Acid from my stomach was getting into my left lung since I sleep on my left side. The crackles are gone and congestion too. I am feeling so much better. My ulcer is healing too thanks to nexium. Will be off it when ulcer heals.

I had that same chest burning and had to take motrin and musinex D or DM which ever one was for chest for about 10 days, it was terrible HOT COUGHS TOO?

the caliber of left coronary arteries are somewhat on smaller side. Patient tolerated procedure w/o complication... (except Bad Rash for several days after). HOWEVER.. it was noted that during catheterization the ventricle was very irritable... persistent ventricular ectopies. Ventricular arrhythmia resolved after catheter removed from ventricle. Can anyone tell me what this all means?... as my Cardiologist won't. Thanxz much!

i once took claritin D for a week or so when i took the med i felt quite normal no congestion or anything for a couple of hours after taking the pill

My son is nearing the end of Hyper-Cvad-R chemo for Burkitts and seems to always have a runny nose, just clear fluid. No congestion it appears. Could this be from the chemo maybe stripping out the the cell lining or cilia inside his nose? Just curious. It seems like when he eats hot food his nose really starts running. I have had intermittant pain in my right side for 25 years, since I was 19. I had my gall bladder checked out 10 years ago and nothing was found. I coincidently have drank regulary for the same amount of time since I was 19. My liver function tests all come back normal, as I have one done every year, however, the last test a year ago showed a little elevated, in the high 40's. During an ultrasound fatty liver was discovered. I am also overweight.
