Avatar m tn Feeling sick for more than 3 days with symptoms not getting better is a good time to see a doctor. Feel better.
3120463 tn?1342056817 For the lungs, if you take a deep breath and your chest hurts, or if you wheeze when you breath, then definitely see a doctor as sometimes colds develop into bronchitis or pneumonia. The ear thing is your sinus cavities being plugged. Try running the shower for lots of steam and this should unplug things so you can hear again (or a wet sauna if you have access to one). Drink plenty of juice, eat fruits and avoid milk as it promotes more mucus in your sinus cavities.
2020005 tn?1628125976 You have an awful lot going on right now. Any kind of change whether it be good or bad can be so stressful. A new baby, moving, not being able to get out as much. Very stressful things. Hopefully once you get settled into your new home things will calm down. Have you thought about pumping for your baby and asking your mom to watch the children a couple of hours a week so you can have some alone time?
Avatar f tn Generally, chest pain with a panic attack is short, quick, stabbing type pains that can be anywhere in your chest. Their never seems to be rhyme or reason to the chest pains, and they often are in different places. With a heart attack, chest pains are usually described as more of a fullness, or pressure on the chest. It may radiate to other areas such as the neck, jaw, arm (particularly the left), or even the back.
Avatar n tn got a bfp on saturday. How soon should I see a doctor? I don't have any sort of regular doctor now, so where do I start? It's not imperative that I go right away is it?
Avatar f tn I'm 23wks 5 days I'm coming down with a cold just wanted to know if I could take robitussin
Avatar f tn You need to have the palpitations evaluated by a doctor asap. If your having all of those symptoms while having the palpitations I would recommend getting to a regular md and if possible a cardiologist just rule out anything serious. If they are so consistent your dr will have no problem identifying the problem on an EKG. Good Luck!
242516 tn?1368223905 The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.
Avatar f tn My biggest fear is that I will catch a cold (or I will think it is a cold or viral infection) and I will let it run its 7-10 course because doctors will tell you, let it run its course nothing we can do for you since it is viral. The only problem is that I will assume it is the normal cold, viral or bronchitis infections, and will not go to doctor. And long and behold it will be active TB and I am spreading it. The infectious dr.
435985 tn?1249067908 I can not believe that they wont see you!!!! My ob told me to call the day I get my BFP so he can get me in to do bloodwork every two days and to do an u/s every couple of weeks...You really need to see a dr. if only to put your mind at ease. You don't want to be soooo stressed out for 12 weeks for nothing.
Avatar f tn ve always been pretty healthy and have been scared to go to the doctor for a while. I had to push myself to get checked because I found a lump, but it turned out to be benign. Now, I have to go back soon for a 6 month check up to make sure that the lump didn't grow. (I'm pretty sure it didn't) that with myself. The thing is, when I saw the doctor before, I didn't tell her just how anxious I get.
3166043 tn?1514260018 You may have pharangitis. The doctor will be able to listen to your chest to make sure that the infection has not spread to your lungs. Best wishes.
Avatar m tn s kind of getting to my head and I just want to know when I should be seeing a doctor or if I should give it a few days.
Avatar f tn For three weeks, I've had horrible pain that grips my neck and upper chest and even radiates to my mouth and ears, today it felt just like a heart attack. It's horrible for 5 to 10 minutes and then settles down. Docs say it not my heart,or my lungs, the next doc will be an upper gi doc. It gets worse from walking, cold air and laying down, What is your take on this.
Avatar f tn I’m worried I will have to get an endoscopy and I would like to solve this without having to get a doctor involved. Is this possible?
16898319 tn?1452220901 I wrote it off as irritation but this cough and burning sensation in my chest has got me worried. and I dont want to go to my doctor again for it if it is just the aftermath of my cold.
449784 tn?1235739250 i have a lot of tight deadlines and drink a lot of energy drinks and coffee to make them. because of this i get palpitations and chest pains and sometimes get short of breath. once it became really bad so i saw a doctor for it. he said my ecg showed nothing wrong and that it was just stress. once the deadline is over i just finally sleep and it goes away. now i have another insane deadline and several simultaneous projects and it's happening again.
1953268 tn?1454815040 Hi! I'm 17 years old and a few weeks ago, I started getting this sharp pain under my right breastbone when I would breathe. It's intense and during my bout of pain (usually for about a minute, though it always seems longer) it feels almost impossible for me to take a breath. It only happens from time to time but it's something I figured I shouldn't leave out. This, unfortunately, is only my first symptom as of now.
Avatar n tn I would get your doctor to check her Vitamin D levels and see a doctor about the chest hurting, could have pneumonia which would also cause shortness of breath. red bumps on legs could be normal, I had them until I was 25, something to do with keratin growth at the hair folicle, loofah mitt helped. It would be helpful to know more info like when it started, is it there all the time.
Avatar n tn I just feel like I can never get enough air into my lungs. I have been to see my doctor (first time a month ago), and he diagnosed me with a Viral cold. 2 weeks later, after coughing constantly, bad neck, face and headaches, he prescribed Augmentin. No difference after 10 days later. Still heavy coughing. Took chest xray, sinus xray, blood work, EKG...had thalium stress test 2 months ago....all normal results. No pneumonia, bronchitis, or strep throat.
