Hi my son is 16 year's old. And is having pain and tingling in hands and arms and chest. Don't happen all the time.When
it happens only last a few mintues. And very painful. He said it start's in hands and works up the arm in to the upper chest. No tighting of the chest or shortness of breath is expirence. Or any numbness. Has had these symptom for 1 year and a half. Has gotten worse in december had a bad cold. We seen and allergies,she ran alot of test .
Hi have had throat tightness and chest pain tightness and sometime hard to swallow, my doctor asked me to take penicilin based antibiotics to clear up any cold symptoms and also gave me throat calmer tablets that are calming for allergy as well as a nose inhaler also alergy related from what I can read in leaflet - he also requested blood and urine samples and throat scan so I'm wonderign what this can be as he just told me we'll get to bottom of this and not explained more, the tightne
Do you have any other symptoms such as runny nose , cough or anything that may show that it might be the flu? Do you have any signs of infection anywhere?
thanks, I get it, the counselor when they asked about symptoms and I mentioned the "night sweat" but, that everyone describes it as drenching in nature, and he said that was not always the case. That was the only symptom I could not contribute to nerves. The last time the" night sweat occured I tried sleeping with less covers but, still had it happen once more. Not since with the original amount of cover. No fever that I have found. Just looking for clarification.

While some varieties of scleroderma occur rapidly, signs and symptoms of limited scleroderma usually develop gradually. They include:
Tight, hardened skin. In limited scleroderma, skin changes typically affect only the lower arms and legs, including fingers and toes, and sometimes the face and throat. Skin can look shiny from being pulled taut over underlying bone. It may become difficult to bend your fingers or to open your mouth.
Any chest pain is worthy of checking into....I would advise reporting your symptoms to your doctor. I think everyone experiences some type of chest pain in their lives and most of the time it's benign in origin. Keep in mind,however, that the tv portrayal of a heart attack happens in less than 10% of those that have one. Look out if you experience nausea, cold sweats, pain in jaw, pain that radaiates into the back or down one or both arms along with chest pressure.....
It can also radiate into my left cheekbone. It can be mild,or severe,and not all signs together or in sequence and usually accompanies chest tightness/crushing and shortness of breath. Women can be very different from men in their signs, having only tiredness of a symptom of an impending cardiac event.Joan.
I get the same type of attacks, they mimic a heart attack to the letter. I think it's because I know the signs of a heart attack and my mind just uses that against me. I've gone to the hospital and had the workups and everything,,,just to be safe,,,and it always comes back all good.
My EKG showed incomplete right bundle branch block which he said was of no real concern and was common. I have weird sensations. Sometimes I will get cold and have chill bumps. No one else will be cold. I will feel very weak all over. Its like a wave that just comes over me! My heart will race sometimes, makes me shake and feel jittery, then makes feel like I need to have a BM. After BM I am fine. I have also experienced tingling sensations in my upper extremities and head.
What you describe suggests a viral respiratory infection, possibly superimposed on underlying asthma, a disease you may not have known you had. If I am right, you should quickly be feeling normal again. If the symptom of shortness of breath or chest tightness recurs, you should see your primary physician for further evaluation. That it doesn’t bother you anymore when you work out is a good sign.
