424634 tn?1277857528 Hi... I recently went off Bystolic prescribed for occasional elevated HR, spikes in BP, and chest pains. All my tests have come out normal. I'm pretty sure they are all just stress related. I've decided to increase my activity levels (I tend to get a little lazy and stay rather inactive). I try to walk 2 to 3 times a week, but with this icky weather, it's been rather demotivating.
Avatar m tn ve noticed that while running and usually just after the first 5 minutes, I get a kind of chest pain that somehow feels kind of muscular pain but makes my running difficult and I usually stop. It seems located all over my chest, like I got my muscles tired over there, on my cage rib. But my breeding is ok, I don't get out of air. I'm also getting out of a bad cold, although now I'm ok, I don't know if it has any relation.
Avatar f tn Last night i had a little cold nose was just running with a cough now i woke up this morning my body hot im cold sore throat nose wont stop running chest is killing me anything i cold take or do cause this is killing me my 2nd cold but the other one wasnt this bad
Avatar f tn Get you a vaporizer! Rub vicks on your chest & stay warm. I had a really bad cold abt a month and a half ago but I made it just fine. I wouldn't worry too much abt it unless you're running a fever. Back when I was abt 6 months far along, I had a kidney infection with serious fevers. We made it just fine. In the hospital, but my baby and I are just fine!
Avatar m tn I'm 19 and i run a lot (5+ times a week). I have been diagnosed with arrhythmia and i also have a third heart sound. I'm asthmatic and i get a lot of pain in my chest when i run in the cold no matter how much asthma medication i take before hand or what preventatives i'm on. Are these symptoms related at all and are they concerning? Is there anything i can do for the pain? also my average heart rate when i run is between 180-195bpm and this is how its always been.
Avatar f tn I have been experiencing dizziness with a heavinress or tightness in the chest. Pulse is normally low in the 50s but does manage to get into the low 60s with training. Blood pressure remains unchanged. No arm or jaw pain, but I really feel like I can not catch enough oxygen and I may pass out. I try to train in the evening when it is cooler and the sun is not as strong. I am beginning to think I have a heart problem.
Avatar n tn ive had a cold for 4 weeks now and this moring i blowed my nose and blood came out is this normal?
Avatar f tn Yep, I feel fine otherwise. I initially thought chest cold as well, but I have no other cold symptoms and it's been going on too long now.
Avatar n tn yesterday i had a fever, body aches and chills. No running nose or sore throat. I woke up feeling fine but later became feverish with body aches and still feverish but no sore throat. Is this the beginnning of the flu or just a cold?
1953268 tn?1454815040 ve described here, and insist on having a chest exam. Green mucus can be a sign of infection. Chest pain should never be ignored, and should definitely be looked at by a physician in order to rule out any thing serious. Years ago, I had symptoms much like yours, but I chose to skip the doctors visit and stay home. It turned out that I had bronchitis, then developed pneumonia.
Avatar m tn I have very bad allergy when I got cold and make me have running nose then cause the sore throat since very young age. The symptom start since I bought a pool and stay in water for couple hours most everyday with my son last summer. I got cold, sore throat and tiredness on the neck so I stop get in the water and the other symptoms as describe above came few months later. My physician could not determine the problem but just follow up chest X ray and cholesterol.
Avatar f tn It was a nasty cold with a fever 99-101.5. The cold symptoms faded over time but I have been stuck with the fever, crushing fatigue, dizziness, and shortness of breath. Tests have been completely normal: CBC, CBC with manual differential, complete metabolic panel, mono test, sed rate. I took a course of azithromycin and got worse while taking it. My doctors are clueless. The regular doctor just said "I don't know what to tell you.
Avatar f tn what makes you feel like a stream of cold water is running down your leg after you have some of these pains in your arm or leg...
Avatar m tn A couple of days ago, I contract something outside and the next day, I began having serious chills, stuffy nose, chest feeling stuffy, etc. Then the next day, it got worse (and yes, I took medicine for flu/cold) with coughing up (I'm presuming) some bloody mucus several times (it's more like a rust color), dry coughing mostly, severe chest congestion (Robatusson {sp?} doesn't work), and severe congestion in my nose.
Avatar m tn Make a long story short i was put on anxiety meds, took 3-4 EKGs in the period of 5 months all coming back normal and had a chest scan while at the hospital it was all good. I am now a bit more overweight i just couldn't run anymore the stress of the attacks ruined me. I have finally stop having the attacks and i am in the process of trying to loose the weight, But the symptoms i had with the anxiety are still there. They are -Being aware of my heart beat 75% of the time.
Avatar n tn I also have a strange feeling in my chest and it feels exactly like drops of water running down my right and left side of my chest. It can originate form my middle part of my chest and It feel cold and I can feel exactly where its dripping and where the "drop is at the moment." Its really quite scary, It started in November last year but stopped and continued in Jan and started again and I feel it occasionally only Ive felt it slightly more these couple of days.
Avatar m tn the downside to them is that once you start going, usually you have to keep going, which is one reason I actually stopped going to them in the first place. If you are running in cold air, that can make the lungs hurt, keep that in mind. It would be highly unlikely, at your age, to be having chest pains related to heart disease; people your age that do, have serious forms of heart disease that would have been easy to notice, especially on the tests that you have already had done.
Avatar f tn I am 36 + 2 and just got this cold a day ago. I have been drinking tea with a tablespoon of honey and it helps but just a bit. Any suggestions would be great!
Avatar m tn After i stop running, i cant take deep breaths without this stabbing pain at the top of my chest, and as a result of trying to breathe harder i end up coughing, and sometimes i cough up mucus like i have a cold. Also, right at the time the chest pains happen, i start feeling dizzy, like im dehydrated. Hours after i have stopped running, i still have extremely minor pains when breathing normally. This usually continues for a week or two.
Avatar n tn Hi I'm a 17 yr old girl who have been having chest pains while running. This never happened before I joined my crosscountry team at school ( I was fine in the beginning but these problems started occurring during races). Recently, in the middle of running, my upper chest (around my heart starts hurting) I start feeling dizzy and I cant think straight. I only feel better when I bend down and take a breath but I usually feel like collapsing when I stop running.
Avatar n tn ve occasionally had a stich like pain in the centre of my chest while running. I can run through it and other than the pain there are no other symptoms. My GP just says there is no problem but I wonder if I need more tests, eg stress echo etc. Any ideas? Or is it my heart just telling me to not train so hard? (I do push myself to max heart rate in most training runs).
Avatar m tn (I had similar a couple of years ago which turned into a nasty cold and chest infection, so whether you see a doctor, get cold/flu/allergy tabs or use a saline rinse, it would pay to try to control it).... I don't know whether it's anything to do with the meds but I suspect your body is perhaps still vulnerable.

20626144 tn?1502235748 It started with my sternum in the center and sometimes on the right and left below the breast. It moves to the upper chest around the colar bone area. Sometimes under my right or left rib. I also have pain running through my right/left arm which looks to follow the big vein running under the arm with the palm facing up from the wrist to the beginning of the bend of the elbow. I also get headaches. Very fatigued!
