I don't know what you are allowed to take when you are pregnant, pharmaceutical or otherwise... but I'd suggest making sure you eat well, stay hydrated. Maybe run a hot shower for a while then go outside in the cold (like when babies have croup---gives some relief). I've heard oil of oregano or eucalyptus oil, a few drops in boiling water, your head with a towel over it and you inhale, can help with phlegm.

Ok so I'm confused, I've heard from some people that you shouldn't put on heaters so much for babies because then if you go out of the room and it's cold or you go out somewhere and it's cold they are more likely to get sick so you you should just cover them up well with the weather.

I have a wellness pack with differentn things in it, It says children on it but is for babies also and the dosage for infants is on the bottle. Herny got a runny nose not sure if it was teeth or cold starting but it was gone in two days and never got worse. I love Wish Garden stuff! All natural and ot works fast without taking them around other sick kids at the dr. OH and you need a humidifier mroe then a vaporisor. They are cool mist and do not casue mold as easy.

All day I have had this cold feeling in my chest and back. It feels like I have rub vicks on me. It does not hurt just that cold burn in my chest it is between my boobs up to my neck and back. It feel like it is on the out side not a pain I think.

Not only is she not colicky anymore, but NO MORE acid reflux, she actually straightens out her legs now instead of curling them up into her chest from all the discomfort she was in, and she poops better than she EVER has! Honestly, I would go get your little man adjusted!!! Research it and find yourself a chiropractor and I promise you will LOVE the results! ve described here, and insist on having a chest exam. Green mucus can be a sign of infection. Chest pain should never be ignored, and should definitely be looked at by a physician in order to rule out any thing serious. Years ago, I had symptoms much like yours, but I chose to skip the doctors visit and stay home. It turned out that I had bronchitis, then developed pneumonia.

hi umm im 16 and of lately for like the past 6 or 7 months i have experienced chest pain in the left side of my chest. now when i say pain it hurts and its so uncomfortable. recently i was in class and it kinda felt like my heart dropped or something dropped and it was so weird. i take a health class and they say your heart rate at rest should be between 60 and 80 and mine is always almost 100 bpm. and when exercising it should be in the range of 140 to 170 mine is between 220 and 245.

Im Due April 1st. And i live in this cold state.

Whenever I drink water or any other liquid I feel pain almost in the middle of the chest and I feel it only at a point in the chest no where else.But when I eat food I dont feel any pain in the chest . Pain occurs only when I drink water or other things like coke,pepsi etc . Is it serious or something common ?

So my 4yr old has a cold:( she is so congested and coughing and getting the sweats. Ive been giving her cold & flu medicine for the cough & runny nose then tylenol for the fever/sweats but i wanted to know if there were any home remedies that you mamas used to help your babies feel better?

Faith will be 2 weeks old saturday. Everyone in the house had a cold when i brought her home, including DS who is two, catching from my mom when i was in the hospital and he was watching him, she was careful but i knew it was inevitable that he would catch it. Faith started getting a stuffy nose 4-5 days ago and then yesterday started having a little cough along with sneezing. She doesnt cough often and sneezes periodically throughout the day, one or two sneezes at a time.

I am 13 weeks pregnant and I know this is for january due dates but I really am in chest and head cold hell and I am wondering if it will hurt my baby I am taking some meds the doctor prescribed but they don't seem to work I've been like this for a month any advice thanks

For the last few days directly in the center of my chest where my cleavage is i have a cold sensation, weird tingly sensation. I keep putting my hand there to check it is warm or if clothing is rubbing on it but it is not of course...but most notciceable & worrying. The only other symptoms i have are palpitations.. Can anyone shed light on this?

I have been outside in the damp bitter cold air for 8hrs a day for last two days. I was definitely prepared with the proper amount of layers, head gear and wool socks. However, the last day my chest is very tight, if i cough it restricts my chest and hurts when i cough. I have no other symptoms other than my chest wall. I am drinking hot tea with honey and have put vicks vapor rub on my chest, but it hurts to talk and especially when i cough. please help.

now with my cough and runny/stuffy nose I developed chest pain, or a chest cold. Yesterday my chest hurt really bad in the evening and when I coughed It hurt even more. Today chest still hurts when I cough but that as bad as yesterday. What can all this be?

What lurooney said. I was full of cold at about 38 weeks and rubbed Vicks onto my chest at night.

5 mg ( first was 5 mg ) Ormocor and 80mg Lipitor. I get pains in my chest in the heart/sternum area esp., when I wake up in the morning or Ilean to one side or twist my upper body. The pain is sharp but appears and ends abruptly lasting a few seconds. Other then this I have done 10 mile treks, walk 3-4 miles most days, sometimes jog, walk up steephill at a brisk pace every other day. Sometimes walk up the stairs 30 times, which gets my sysyem going but don't suffer any pains.

I saw the doc and she gave me Amoxycillin for 7 days. It then eased but worked its way down to my chest and had l some build up of fluid in the lungs and as a result i was constantly coughing and trying to get it out. It has been going on now for over 7 weeks and will not completely go. It seems to clear up up but every time I get out to exercise it returns. Any ideas of how to get rid of it.

Has anyone else experienced your stomach and back being warm and your hands and feet being cold. If so what was/is the sex of your baby?? I live in Florida so I have no idea why my feet n hands are cold . I'm 18 and I'm 17 weeks today.

by the way, my cold is only on my upper chest, not in my back because I sleep on back, and I do not feel it. I felt so cold that I could not sleep.

The dr I took Elijah to last weeks said babies don't get sore throats, and she said babies don't really get sick. WELL Aubryana (DD 8weeks)has a fever today and has been coughing. Elijah (DS2) had an ear infection and a cold(?) I guess, I'm taking him back to the dr again tomorrow to see what's going on with his ear infection, and about the cough since he's had it a week and has a history of severe bronchitis. SO is my baby girl getting sick, or what?

m a 20 year old female, who has recently been put on cipralex for panic attacks and anxiety. About a week ago I came out in a strange red rash on my chest. I have also been experiencing blurring vision and lightheadedness several times a day. Usually when I wake up in the morning I have had quite bad headaches which usually pass within an hour of being awake. I'm worrying whether this could be the medication or something else. Should I go to a doctor or is it anxiety related?
