celexa and chest pain

I think I do have anxiety everyday, it's just not as bad as it used to be. I was in bed for over a month, I think I was depressed also. I was reading about the exercise, I used to run 3 miles a day before my anxiety and now I can't even clean my house because it hurts so much, my arm, back, shoulder and chest and with the pain comes anxiety. Do you have any advise on how I could start up on my exercising without over doing it? I need to take off the 20lbs I put on!!

when I get upset or really tense, I feel tight in the chest like I can't breath and sometimes have chest pain,is this heart related? I have been tested for heart issues,nothing came back. BUt if I get really upset and yell, then I am really tight and feel like I can't breath plus chest pain,should I be worried?

t woken up with neck pain in the top of the back part of my neck. I also suffer from horrible anxiety. 8 days ago I started 20mg of celexa and two after I developed a constant tremor in arms, legs, jaw, and head. It isn't a violent tremor and it's barely noticeable. I went to the doctor and he cut my dosage in half but I stopped taking two days ago of this fear I developed over the tremors. My mind is going crazy with thoughts about serious diseases.

Hello, i am a 44 year old woman, i have had PVC's for over 20 years with them steadily getting worse, it finally came to almost 8000 pvc's a day so i had a ablation in 2008, it helped with the pvc's i still have some but not nearly as many but i am still having the chest pain,left arm pain and shortness of breath.

A few years ago, I was having a twisting feeling in my chest after taking Celexa. During that time, I had a really intense pain in my right arm and neck- I literally couldn't move my arm or neck without feeling terrible pain. That same night I felt a weird, indescribable feeling in the middle of my head and simultaneously my eyes opened. The next thing I know I felt this electric shock go down from my neck to my legs. I couldn't move anything but my neck for two days.

Hello I am a 37 yr old white male who has been experiencing chest pain and left arm pain. I have also had trouble in the bedroom (you know what I mean) So I went to a cardiologist ran some test and the list is long but I saw some things that alarmed me. He ran a Comp Metabolic Panel for the most part things came back in range but my Glucose, Serum was 93. I had not had anything to eat or drink for at least 8 hrs. My Glom Filt Rate est 60 with normal levels 60-137 I felt that was low.

I felt out of it today like a dream so I took my med and I calmed down from it, but tonight idk but my heart it beats 1 2 than 3 hits hard against my chest and it cause a pain in my chest but once it did happen at 3 every time my body jumps up cause of the last heart beat.

So he upped my dose then it got worse along with chest pain I went to the ER and what do you know it is a side affect. I am slowly tappering off Celexa but the shortness of breath is horrible. Also very scary. Does anyone else know how long this will go on for? I also feel VERY ill body aches, headaches,dry mouth UGHH Id rather being having anxiety at least I could take an ativan and it would go away.

My doctor thinks so and prescribed some Ativan and Celexa. I think I fell the affects of the Celexa because I feel like Im in a good mood most of the time. Im still having chest pains and my heart rate will increase for no apparent reason. Sometimes both hands will turn purple colors now. So Celexa has helped my mood but not my symptoms. Whats wrong with me?

Went back to Dr and now I am on my 3rd day of Celexa. It just seems to be getting worse each day and I had tests done at Dr and all negative. I have weird pains all over chest somewhat daily probably resulting from anxiety and Dr keeps telling me I'm perfectly healthy. Breathing control somewhat helps but not always. I feel like I'm gonna just instantly drop dead sometimes and it scares the hell outta me!

It sounds like alot of symptoms others here have described, i myself have the dizziness and chest problems. I started Celexa today and feel terrible, dry mouth is aweful... I hope you find some relief in your symptoms..

After a few months of bad headaches and strange body aches, my PCP put me on 10mg Celexa. Within two days I called telling him I was getting weird muscle spasms, twitching and pain sensations in my chest, arms and legs. He assured me this was not from the medicine (even though it's described in the side effects) and urged me to keep giving it a try. I did, for close to four weeks. I still felt awful so then - probably foolishly - stopped taking it cold turkey.

I have smoked M. for 2 years and recently started CeleXa. The only thing ive noticed thus far is that I am less affected by the M. now that I am on CeleXa.

but im just worried becuz i did the stress test and echo 3 months ago and i still have this pain how can i know if its a muscle pain?

hello, i dont know if im the only one here but since my panic attack and anxiety which followed, i have noticed that my aerobic exercise capacity has decreased, i go to the gym about 3 tiimes a week and have no problem doing strength training, which has actually improved, however when it comes to running on the treadmill, i used to run about 5km over 20 minutes, but am now struggling and stop after 3.

Is there any way to determine if physical symptoms are the result of an illness or anxiety? I have a dx of GERD and gastroparesis and have vague abdominal pain as well as lightheadedness, low blood pressure, fast heart rate, chest pain, lots of nausea etc...... I have been checked out 2 years ago by cardiology and GI and on top of a PPI I was put on a low doese of Celexa... I had a tilt table test that was borderline + and he felt the Celexa would help to re-regulate my CNS....

i had anxiety for 6 yrs and it was always about hiv then one day it stopped and i was fine then out of no where bam a full blown panic attack...but i still get pain from my left side shoulder until my chest heart area and the left arm? If everything was ruled out? Why am i still getting these pains? Can it be something with the muscles causin it? How can i find out its really makes me panic..thanks for the help!!!

Hi everyone Never thought I'd ever be signing up to something like this, but here I am... It all started about 2 months ago, had a very slight pain in my chest, upper right side, for some reason I worried about it and I just became obsessed with it. Since then, I've ended up in ER twice with a very rapid heart rate, 136 at rest, I've had 3 ECG's, all normal, thyroid, liver, glucose and other blood tests, all fine. I put everything behind me and carried on with my life.

The Stress test was normal, Gastrocopy was okay I am concerned because of the back /chest pain and the slightly high ALP of 145 (lab says up to 129 u/l is in the normal range) and what I have read about bone cancer on a few sites. My calcium and PTH are normal and my doctor is says he is not concerned about bone cancer. My family doctor says I have had a very thorough workup and enough tests and that I don't need a bone scan, which is more radiation.

s a week and sometimes are loose with burning, pain in groin area and loss of sex drive with painful and extended ejaculation. Is this from the Celexa or going off the Effexor. Will these side effects go away as i take the Celexa longer since its only been 2 weeks? Should i go see the doc?

Once you learn that you have a controlling mechanism for your panic attacks, you will no longer fear them and you will get them less and less frequently. Celexa is more of an anti depressant, so it really won't bring you down if you get to the point of having a panic attack.

I've been on Celexa, Neurontin, and Meloxicam for some time due to chronic pain, depression arthritis, and neuropathy. I've been reading a lot about DLPA and it says NOT to take it with SSRI's. Does anyone know whether I should stop taking the Celexa before I ever start taking Ithis supplement? I'm very anxious to give this supplement a try! My depression has gotten severe...to the point that NOTHING works anymore, I have no sex drive, feel hopeless, I have no motivation, etc...

I started on Effexor 5 wks ago and was having trouble urinating and have ejaculation pain. Stopped the Efxxor after 3wks and went to Celexa. Have been on for 2wks and still have the problem. Has anyone had to strain to actually get the urine started were now i have straining pain in my groin. Plus delayed ejaculation?
