Avatar n tn The only problem is, everything he has recommended does nothing - I have tried ibuprofen 400mg three times daily, ice four times daily, and am now on Celebrex 200mg twice daily (does just increased from one daily yesterday). The only thing that temporarily takes the edge off is ice. Has anyone heard of PRP treatment (platelet rich plasma)? I am trying to find out success rates of this treatment. I also need to know if insurance covers it and cost if it does not.
649848 tn?1534633700 As consumers, we welcome Walmart's (WMT) low prices. But here's the thing about these low prices -- they're doing the U.S. more harm than good. A new research report has found that low prices have actually caused unemployment to rise, and dealt a massive blow to the manufacturing sector. Look no further than the 7 million manufacturing jobs the U.S. lost from 1980 to 2011, according to a recent research report from Demos.

Avatar n tn She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.
Avatar f tn I have been prescibed Celebrex for osteoarthris pain. Can it be taken every day for long term management of arthritis.
Avatar f tn This preggy chick needs to stay out of walmart! Is it just me or is walmart just a meeting place for every idiot in town??
Avatar f tn walmart is the best affordable choice in my opinion
798555 tn?1292787551 Anyone use this brand? Since its only $10 at walmart, I wonder about accuracy. Test strips are more affordable too than the others..
Avatar f tn I was 36 weeks and I went to a private photographer. Not sure on the price because I didn't pay for it.
Avatar f tn I take the Similac /w DHA. They used to sell them at Walmart now I can only find them at Walgreens. They are about $12.00 after you take the coupon out of the box, lol.
Avatar f tn So yesterday I got a letter in the mail from a third party company that my insurance had hired. The letter wanted to know if my recent visit to the surgery center where I had my injections had anything to do with an accident. They wanted to know so that if my injuries were cause by an accident they could file a claim against whoever caused it to get more money. I thought that was just ridiculous. My injections were about $1,500 each. My insurance only pain my PM center about $250.
1207048 tn?1282174304 I went and picked up the Celebrex prescription today, and just took my first one a little bit ago. I was looking over the info that came with the prescription. Here is a conversation I just had with DH.... Me: This prescription costs almost $72 a month! DH: Please! That is nothing! My prescription is $150 a month. (he is on singulair) Me: Oh, you wanna play that game, huh? Well, my *other* prescription is $3,000 a month. I win.
Avatar f tn Does anyone take celebrex?I started Prozak last week and they want me to take celebrex too. They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). But I am afraid of the NSAIDs in celebrex, any one else taking it? Oh, I am on Methadone too. I am having my first liver biopsy in the morning, so I will find out more about my liver. I am scared to death about it coz I have had so many problems lately.
Avatar f tn Went to walmart but couldn't find hylands. Where did yall find it and how much does it cost? Thanks!
Avatar n tn If you already have a current rx, Walmart has extremely low cost prescriptions for many common medications. I think they charge only 4 dollars, something like that.
Avatar n tn The best meter is the one they use at the hospital I forget the brand/modle number. Im sure they can tell you. Cost about $5,000 and $5.00 a test strip. Walmart has meters for $14.99 and $26 for 100 test strips. ALL meters sold to the public have to be %20 accurate 90% of the time. My Best meter is the one the insurance will cover the cost of the test strips.
Avatar f tn No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though. You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.
Avatar n tn I never had high blood sugar but recently after a 10 day course of celebrex for an inflamed shoulder muscle my fasting blood sugar shot up to 137. I read that celebrex has this side effect. Is it reversible?
Avatar f tn If ur looking for something that won't cost u alot go to Wal-Mart or target go only tho they have more options, but if ur looking to spend over $250 then go to buy buy baby, baby rus and all does baby stores
636250 tn?1227369694 I have no direct experience with the medications you mention, but can say my insurance requires (or I pay a big cost penalty) me to use generic drugs. These are, however, US distributed. I believe many people buy drugs from Canada to save money, but I have my doubts about the quality of anything that can be ordered over the Internet without a prescription...assuming a prescription is required in the US.
Avatar f tn They require a prescription, but the generic Warfarin is available at very low cost, e.g., Walmart. The bigger cost for being on an anticoagulant is getting the blood tests to be sure the level of medication is right. But given you can't take aspirin (did you take them with food?), there doesn't seem to be another choice. I do not know anything about Ginseng...but be careful with herbs, some can be dangerous.
