12679876 tn?1426977893 I have an 8 year old male cat who started throwing up yellow bile on Saturday. I got him to drink a little tuna juice and he acted like he wanted to eat dry food but only ate one piece and that was after several times of picking it up and putting it back down. All test results from the vet came back normal. No bacteria. He did have blood in his stool. But no infection. No temp, and barely dehydrated. He's going in for a teeth cleaning tomorrow because he had severe tartar build up.
Avatar n tn Also, when you first awaken, s-l-o-w-l-y stretch your muscles, like a cat or dog. Give everything a chance to start working again before you even start to sit up. Such small things make such big differences. Your shoes may be throwing you off kilter, then, in domino effect throwing everything else off. When you enter or exit a car, have your fanny on the side of the seat, then lift both legs and pivot.
Avatar n tn My cat has been throwing up since this afternoon, she is quite old (and has suffered with ear problems for a long time, she went to the vet yesterday for a check up on her ear). I have never seen her throw up this much and it is worrying me that something is wrong, she just seems to be throwing up a white foam(?) liquid and can't keep any food down. She keeps trying to moisture her mouth and I can tell she is having difficulty swallowing/has a sore throat now(?
1513651 tn?1290387289 He begs for food all the time and we cannot leave food out on the counter as he is (dumpster diving) here in the kitchen. I am very concerned about the throwing up. Do you think this will end eventually?
Avatar m tn Hello, My cat has been throwing up a brown very watery liquid for the past few days. He will go maybe a whole day and not throw up at all but then overnight we find that he's thrown up 4 or 5 times. He still drinks his water and eats his food and seems his normal self but i'm worried there might be something else wrong. Oh, this morning in his vomit was a lot of little white pecks maybe a little larger than grains of salt or sugar. Thnx any help would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn He was vet checked one month ago, up-to-date on also shots and is on comfortis for the past year. Its not like her is vomiting, its like gagging it up. Any suggestions, help????
Avatar n tn Mini pin 7 years old. Began throwing up bile on Friday. Threw up 3 times. Saturday once, Sunday once and Monday once, all early morning. Monday I took her to the vet. Tested negative for Parvo. Was given a IV to give her 2 ml. per day and 5 shots to be given every 8 hours frollowed by a pill to be given every 8 hours once the shots were given for the vomitting. She drinks water but has no interest in eating. She is allert, but not as chipper as usual.
Avatar m tn My cat is throwing up white foam and stomach bile, wont eat or drink, avoids me and is real lethargic (sp?). I know to take it to the vet, so, not to be rude, but please dont respond "take him to the vet immediately" What to do to try to prevent a vet trip, he has one day to get better or at least show progress or he is going to the vet, any suggestions or help?
687665 tn?1227103240 For the past two days she has been throwing up this green looking stuff. It almost looks like foam or bubbles. This morning she did something I have never seen her do. She got up and started making this sound like crying and she started to drag her bottom across the floor but her bottom was not all the way on the floor. She was acting like something was after or on her. Then thats when she stopped and started throwing up but this time it was more watery and clear but had the blood in with it.
Avatar f tn hi, my female cat is 17 years old. recently she has a clear gel like substance coming out of her mouth. we had her to the vet, where he looked thouroughly in her mouth, found nothing. she also had blood work done, it came back everything normal. she is eating, slightly, and pretty inactive, cause of age im guessing. any ideas as to what this substance is? could it be dangerous to me and my family? please advise. thank you.
Avatar m tn My 2 year old cat has been throwing up about once a day for the past week. Other than throwing up, she acts normally, she is eating and drinking normally. The throw up is a brown liquid and she usually throws up during the night as we find it when we get up in the mornings. There is no smell to the vomit. Is this something serious?
Avatar f tn so i took him home and iv been giving him water from a syring but if i give him to much he pucks up a yellowy water substance and then foam. and he wont eat anything iv tried everything!! i need help please someone help!!!!!!!
203342 tn?1328737207 This has been going on for a long time. Every time I've taken her to the vet I've mentioned it. There's a million reasons why she could be throwing up, I'm told. She could just have a nervous stomach, eating too fast, isn't tolerating food well or it could be a medical reason. They ran all kinds of expensive tests on her before doing her surgery a couple of months ago and everything came back fine, including diabetes, kidneys looked fine, etc.
Avatar f tn s trying to be himself and is trying to join us on the bed (more himself than the last time) but he just ends up leaving and throwing up again. Not to mention it smells so bad. Like rotten fish. Obviously it's something. But I don't get why it would come back again. Not to mention around the same time as last wkd...
Avatar m tn I'm 22 years old and a smoker (not sure if that matters) but for awhile now (a year or so) i will throw up what I'm guessing is bile. it is lime green in color and comes out very "watery" and "mucus" like. It happens right when i wake up and take a shower. after i brush my teeth i get extremely nauseous and throw this "substance" up, it last all of about 10 min. I feel fine before and after.
203342 tn?1328737207 Misha was put on antibiotics about a month ago for sneezing. She started throwing up then so I figured it was the antibiotics. I finished them up and it did seem to help the sneezing. However, she's still throwing up on a daily basis. Now I did mix a generic brand of cat food with her regular brand awhile back but it was after carefully reading the ingredients and seeing that they were the exact same ingredients so I mixed them half and half with her regular food. I did this once before.
192055 tn?1263555537 I am not sure whether I am throwing up bile... or just the grease from what I ate. I am 33 weeks pregnant and haven't really had any problems with the pregnancy besides some gallbladder problems around weeks 24-28. I had really bad pain in my gallbladder area (under right rib and right back, under shoulder blade) for about a month. No signs of stones. Can't do the test to see how my gallbladder is functioning since I'm pregnant.
541150 tn?1306033843 I'm so glad thats out and done with...its served its purpose and it was time!!! poor baby, if only they could tell us. Snickers not well again either...poor little guy, what is causing his problems do you know Sara?
596105 tn?1314580333 I wouldn't stress about it yet. Does Oliver seem fine other than the throwing up? Cats will sometimes throw up 2 or 3 times a week-many times it's a hairball. They sell hairball remedies everywhere. Or, petroleum jelly(that's the main ingredient in these remedies). If you give him petroleum jelly-human formula-make sure that you read the ingredients. You ONLY want it to say petroleum or petrolatum. If it has any other ingredient do not use it.
Avatar n tn s almost entirely water that she is throwing up the rest is mucus/foam. She is still energetic and keeps trying to play with her toys. Anyone have any suggestions?
Avatar f tn I woke up sick throwing up stimach bile and have diahriah omg I feel like I am dying I feel week and very uncomfortable idk what is wring with me
1085681 tn?1280176627 My cat occasionally would eat too much or not chew her food well enough and then she would throw up. Just occasionally though. But recently she started (she's done it twice now) throwing up and throwing up and throwing up. I mean it'll be food at first and then after a while it's just liquid. I switched her food to a Purina One Sensitive Systems and she stopped doing it and hadn't thrown up at all since...until the other night.
541150 tn?1306033843 I’m not sure if that’s causing him to throw up like that. Abby is used to the presence of my parents and LOVES my dad. I have no idea who threw up. What do you guys think? I might call the vet later on today. It’s my birthday dang it… Oh..the prescription food is helping a lot with Abby's IBD. And both my cats like it a lot. Could it be they are eating too much? They are both gaining a lot of weight. I honestly don't know how much fatter Abby can get lol.
228686 tn?1211554707 So Savas has finally loosened the cords on his tightly clsoed wallet, cleared the dust out, and agreed to replace some of the old, missing cat toys that have long since disappeared around here (It does help that Savas has a 50% employee discount. ;->) His first experiments are with the foam balls and the "real fur mice". The real fur mouse was a HUGE success. It's disturbingly realistic, which might put an ownder off.
