cat allergies kittens

ve had them since they were kittens. This year I started to develop an allergy to them. Its gotten worse and worse and now I can't even pat them with out breaking out into hives.. Is there any reason this happens?

But with in two days they sent the kittens to our house .And says kittens cry and bites their head on the wall .Please suggest me were to keep the kittens as their new home?

It varies from Cat to cat, like with us as well.... we can be in labour for up to 3 days! LOL.... its the same for them... It took my other cat 8 hrs! LOL... because there is more than one in their tum tum my cat had 4. LOL But my cat is preg again she only had her kittens 10 weeks ago, by nature she will go out and get preg again!! GR! LOL! and we cant afford a termination if she DEFO is we are 50 - 50 but she sseems it LOL....

i had 2 litters of kittens that were nursing off of the same mother and all of them died and their symptoms included: diarrehia, then they got weak and couldnt walk and their bodies got cold and they would meow as they were dying an di was just wanting to know what this sounded like?? Your kittens sound like they have cat flu, My kittens had cat flu, went to the vet had medication they are all fine and dandy now. BUt there also mighht be something more serious, You NEED to get your cat to the vet and the kittens and she needs to be spayed. Because naturally in a week she will go out and get pregnant again, because its what they do! Keep her inside untill she has been spayed! and get them all check and sorted.

My cat delievered kittens at 10 months old and they are fine, they had cat flu, one nearly passed but she;s better now, we just have to feed her as well as her mum... they will be 5 weeks i think tomorrow... i actually saw them being born.... Ya that is not good. Notice how your cat lays by your head if you don't teach him not to go in the crib and keeps going in it when baby is here he is probably going to sleep by the babies head and since cats don't have a sense if boundaries if they get too close to the baby they can suffocate the baby.

first of all we need to be very gentle with little kittens, how old is your son? children need to learn to treat a cat/kitten gently or the cat/kitten will learn to scratch, they take out their claws as their only form of defense when they feel threatened. teach your son to cuddle, stroke and talk soothingly to a kitten the same as any baby should be treated, the kitten will soon learn to relax and not scratch. best of luck to you all..and welcome to our forum.

Hi I have a friend who has a cat and her cat had kittens that were born on the 19th and she has noticed that her teats are shrinking is this bad or is it normal because the day she had the kittens I took her to the vet and they said she had loads of rich milk so if the teats are getting smaller (2 of them are normal size) so is she running out of milk plz can I have answers please thanks ( just to say she has got 5 kittens ) Bombay xxx

I had the same thing happen last year when I was fostering a mama cat and kittens. After the kittens found homes, the mama cat got so hard I thought she'd burst. I was worried about her but was assured that it would settle down given time. You can try warm compresses in the meantime. That might help. Poor thing. I know that's got to be uncomfortable! Hopefully, it won't last long.

Hey there I see you are pretty shaken up about your cat. I had a cat named bella. She was 7 and was about to have a litter of kittens. She was hit by a car. I had to personally bury her. The saddest part was my other cat knowing she was gone crying everyday.So wierd how animals have feelings like that. With that said your cat died peacefully in your arms. Probably wouldn't want to go out any other way. 12 years is a good cat life.

We are now just going to foster a mama cat and her kittens. She had them next door and then moved them to our yard. She seemed to be an indoor cat at one time (that will be another question separate). Anyway, we let them live in the basement. The kittens are starting to get used to coming around us a little. They are not older than 7 weeks probably. They have the whole basement to themselves and we have fixed it nicer than a regular crappy basement.
