Drinking water keeps me hydrated and helps keep me fuller. And of course, there's always exercise. You can't "spot reduce", but there are exercises that can target certain areas. You might look into yoga or pilates - both are excellent for toning muscles. Walking is always good.

Complex carbs (fiber - fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc) help make you feel fuller faster and keep you feeling fuller longer, as does protein. With the proper food, there should be no depression due to lack of tryptophan or anything else. Your body needs all of the different food groups, including carbs, so best not to try to eliminate any of them.

Avatar f tn It can be all from the yeast- even the UTI (most commonly a UTI isn't caused by yeast, but rather bacteria- some UTI's can be caused by yeast). Being on that many antibiotics also increases your chances of yeast issues. Make sure you keep everything clean- only use a towel once, wash all clothing, wash your hands alot and use paper towels to dry them. Stay away from sugar and carbs (even sugar in fruit) and that should help, along with treating the yeast.

The main consideration is how well or poorly you digest the food you're choosing to eat and how the food you eat affects metabolism. Again, the same example I'm always posing, salmon is very high in fat and calories but won't make you fat unless you consume a ton of it.
