Natural Vitamin C is water soluble, as is Ester-C, which again is just a trademark. Lots of companies make the exact equivalent of Ester-C but just call it buffered Vitamin C.

My guess is, there's not enough fiber left in vinegar as opposed to whole apples for this to be the reason, if any, that apple cider vinegar would lower blood sugar.

Avatar m tn With a fast metabolism you need more carbohydrates to gain muscle mass. Good sources of carbohydrates are oatmeal, wheat bread and pasta, sweet potatoes, quinoa and/or brown rice. It may be hard at first to get all the calories in, but you must persevere if you want to gain mass. "Clean" or low-glycemic carbohydrates are better, but you can try fruit juices if you absolutely cannot get the solid food down.
Avatar m tn com/diet/features/insoluble-soluble-fiber Not all fiber is the same. Things like oatmeal, beans, apples are soluble fiber. Also, found in supplements. Another reason is that although we have the right amount of fiber, we aren't doing the other things that aid in normal BM's. This includes proper hydration. Do you drink a lot? Soluble fiber forms a gel-like substance in the digestive tract that snares bile (which contains cholesterol)and ferries it out of the body. Research studies have shown that insoluble fiber not only helps to increase stool bulk and prevent constipation, but also helps prevent digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome and diverticulosis.

416625 tn?1203288998 My book "End the Addiction Now" should be here tomorrow. But I am wondering if somebody can tell me how much of the B's I should be taking. Even though they are water soluble, I do not want to take too much (somewhat ironic and poetic at the same time isn't it...god forbid i take too many vitamins) .....I am taking the amino fuel.....and SamE, which also needs B to metabolize. I just feel like I may be taking too much with a multivitamin...B complex supplement..etc.
