Avatar f tn e. since 2004, i am taking medicines prescribed by my doctor, i am taking a pill of metformin(SR) 500mg after lunch and glimipride 2 mg 30 mins before dinner. my FBG is always more than 225 and my PPBG is always more than 300. pl suggest me some better remedy to bring my sugar level in control. i have full diat controll and taking milk with sugar free pills. i am not taking sweets at all since last 5-6 yrs. i walked daily for 30 mins. my wieght is 65 kg. i want 2nd issue.

If you notice, say, you eat a steak and a baked potato together, do you get intestinal problems? I always do and its because you should eat protein and carbs seperately.

Any recent bouts of vomiting and/or diarrhea? Do you take a diuretic (water pill) to help control blood pressure or reduce leg swelling? Have you been on Prednisone (or another steroid) lately? There is a type of polyp that causes the colon to leak potassium. I assume that's why they are looking to do a colonoscopy.

Low levels of potassium, an electrolyte, can cause many symptoms: * Muscle cramps/aches * Fatigue, malaise and intermittent dizziness * Abnormal heart rhythms if the deficiency is not corrected (known medically as arrhythmia) Your symptoms could be due to lower than normal potassium and sodium. I advise seeing that same MD for follow up.

My issue is when I eat a load of carbs, it hits up to 3 days later and I can't hardly get out of bed and am weak most of the day. Everything I read about Carb Intolerance says that fatigue usually hits within the first few hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Carb crash, a day or days after the carbs are eaten?
