i have similar problems. the thing that helped me the most was something called the specific carbohydrate diet, which is quite strict. i was on it for 5 months -- big improvement in digestion. however, i lost too much weight (i'm quite thin) and it was very incovenient for me. if you can commmit yourself to it, i would highly recommend it.
also, water fasting has helped me in the past temporarily. i've done it from one day to about 4 days.
It's not risky, but don't know how it would control diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes is a dietary disease, so it's possible it's beneficial effect on some people's digestion might be in play here, as well as its bitter qualities, but others don't do well on it -- it depends on the acid/alkaline state of a particular person's digestive system. Good for those who need it, maybe not so much if you don't.
Animals are meant to eat a diet of at least 70% moisture....Dry food is about 12%....Thus, animals end up in a lifelong state of dehydration....Organ failure is immanent because of it....

Can you eat seeds? That would allow you to eat wild rice and buckwheat, for two. They are seeds, in the fruit family, not grains, and are quite low in sugars. And what about fish? The essential fatty acids in wild caught fish would probably help. As for nutritional help in California, that's the center of nutritional help. Probably a million of them. Every actor and actress there has a nutritionist, and it's the center of holistic medicine in the US. Sounds tough.
in this case, google "special carbohydrate diet". It is a diet which got invented for people with huge bowel problems like H pylori, crohns and IBS. The goal in this diet is to a) kill bacteria by starving them, but not you, b) get some easy digestible nutrients back into you, c) get the inflammation down and d) change the bacterial flora so no bad bugs can survive.
Give it a test run for 1 month, and if it is not helping, you can always go back.
I have been formally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and possible Carbohydrate Intolerance. My issue is when I eat a load of carbs, it hits up to 3 days later and I can't hardly get out of bed and am weak most of the day. Everything I read about Carb Intolerance says that fatigue usually hits within the first few hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Carb crash, a day or days after the carbs are eaten?

My dog was so stupid that she ate a cat's feces today, looked she ate quite a lot, I am not very sure what is the cat's status, but I am sure my dog is a clean and healthy dog. I am very worried whether my dog can get rabies by eating the cat's stool? Do animals' feces carry rabies virus? Maybe I am overreacted, but I am very worried, please ease my mind.

Actually much friends puppy almost suffocate the baby because he too like the smell an taste of milk an after she fed her daughter he wanted to lick it off an almost took her breath away, I'd say watch with all animals just in case you never know. I've had a cat who was so mean any new baby he seen he'd try to sit on there heads like wtf cat we eventually got rid of him, he was a mini serial killer I swear never met such an evil cat.
Believe me, i want to get rid of the cats. But i don't even mess with them. They're my husband's cats. He takes care of them i do not. They just like to annoy me. I honestly only take care of my dog, turtles, and our fish. But like i said, there's absolutely no animals allowed in my baby's room. None have ever gone in there and probably won't ever go in there. I recently switched rooms with my brother into my mom's back room which is bigger then my old room and my dog seems to think she moved in too. My brother said she would hardly go in there but if i don't let her in she will keep scratching the door until i open it and she has to get under the blankets with me if not she "cries". She follows me everywhere and if i sit down she will be right next to me. If i could show you a picture right now of my dog it would be so funny.

Does anyone have an answer that will help her with constipation and digestion? She has to take a ton of laxatives just to go to the bathroom at all. She eats very little and is a vegan.

My dog is obsessed with my belly. He licks it all the time!! My hubby tried touching it once and our dog made a really weird noise and pushed him away. I think they can definitely sense there's something in our tummies!! I'm 26+2 with my first boy.
