Avatar m tn Look up the ingredients in the Thomas recipe. It seems it helps a lot of people. Soaking in hot baths with Epsom salts will help tremendously with RLS. Also there.s a product called Restful Legs bt Hyland's. Tonic water with quinine, as well as bananas and orange juice all have potassium which will helo the restless legs. Make sure to drink plenty and eat watever you can keep down. Melatonin or Alteril can help with the sleep issues.

Avatar f tn Not all carbs are created equal. Women should have a minimum of 35 grams of dietary fiber/day. Fiber is considered to be a "complex" carb, which means it breaks down slowly and isn't really "digested", like simple carbs, such as sugar, processed foods with white flour, rice, etc. Plenty of dietary fiber and water is necessary for good digestion and elimination.

My issue is when I eat a load of carbs, it hits up to 3 days later and I can't hardly get out of bed and am weak most of the day. Everything I read about Carb Intolerance says that fatigue usually hits within the first few hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Carb crash, a day or days after the carbs are eaten?

Now we are at a half to a gram a day between both of us.the stuff we have been getting is really bad tho. I'm waiting for something to happen but nothing for 2 days now. We wake up and are not sick at all I did do a vicodin yesterday for a severe headache. That u all for ur support.

One of the components, L-Tyrosine, made me really sick and so dizzy I couldn't drive and had trouble thinking and walking straight. So just be aware that just because these chemicals can be purchased over the counter, that doesn't mean their harmless. Other parts of like vitamins, are less toxic at reasonable doses. To me the most valuable ingredient was immodium.
Avatar n tn If you do get valium be very careful. Many people get addicted to it. You could also try valerian root which is a over the counter anti anxiety med similar to valium. So, there is no way to get it except from a doctor. Many use the thomas recipe without using the valium. It will still be very helpful.

Thanks for any thoughts advice. Also I feel like my withdrawal symptoms are kinda delayed, I feel like the symptoms I am having most people have in the first few day.

For insomnia I took over the counter Alteril and it worked the best of any over the counter meds. post me privately that way I can find it when I come back ot use the computers in a few days. Relax and breath.
