495284 tn?1333897642 Why do we sneeze during and after withdrawals??? Many say they sneeze but dont know why.
4341997 tn?1514592288 But, only thing about THAT laughter was that it would NEVER stop and was chemically induced. I would be beggin to stop laughin after about 4 hrs. THIS WAS A NATURAL HIGH......GUYS!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT! On a serious note, I didn't sneeze either while on opiates, and have read it is our histamines "resetting" and "healing". Vit C and benedryl have both helped me with that. (I know.....I know....here she goes) Luv ya all........
Avatar n tn Congratulations for your decision to continue running after your surgery. I am not a MD, and I do not have any heart problem so far, but I am really interested in the answer of your cardiologist. Could you please keep me informed? I have, however, the following question.
461993 tn?1245696952 I can't for the life of me stop sneezing...I sneeze about 10-20x per day; enough that it makes my back hurt like he**, Anyone else experience this? if so, how long does it last?
Avatar f tn Just one sneezing sequence after another. I am miserable. I thought I might need to clean the machine more often also. Now I just don't know. I think I just have to wear the mask. When I wear the nasal pillow it seems to happen more. Did you find any solution to this problem?
Avatar n tn I teach and it is impossible to be productive on a day when you can't stop sneezing. It leaves you exhausted when the sneezing finally does stop the next day. I have had all the allergy skin tests done and wasn't allergic to anything. The dr. diagnosed me with non-allergic rinitis and prescribed Astelin which has terrible side effects.
1155261 tn?1266690117 Then finally after about 2-3 hours of on and off fits of sneezing it wore off. I'm curious, did anyone ever feel as though they had just thrown up and had that stuck in their nose too? Just the feeling/smell, even though you hadn't. That has happened to me a couple of times now during these sneeze attacks.
Avatar n tn I've never experienced any physical withdrawal symptoms after taking 6-8 10 mg tablets a day for about 2 months but for a few days after going back to work I'm really irritable. It just seems that I feel a lot more motivated to do tasks around the house that I normally wouldn't feel inclined to do when I have a good Lortab buzz on. I wonder if I have a problem. I am in good physical shape and don't do anything on Lortab I wouldn't do normally so it hasn't adversely affected my life as of yet.
Avatar n tn It wasn't until after I stopped running that I just couldn't stop sneezing, my right nostril felt like it was pricked with a pollen needle and my right eye also started to swell a little. Then my nose ran like a faucet for 3 days no matter what decongestent I used. I went to an allergy specialist and he couldn't tell me what it was and suggested I start getting allergy shots- horrible doctor.
Avatar f tn Congratulations on wanting to stop. It might help to list your reasons why you want to stop...this helped me a lot. I wrote down what made me sick to death of this lifestyle...and I would re-read it when I felt weak or like I wanted to give in and beg my doctor for another script. Good luck...I hope you come back and talk some more. -R.
682891 tn?1226696230 I was fine yesterday and sneezin due to a summer cold but today this sharp pain ripped thru the top part of my spine over my shoulder blades and arms and elbows. Fingers felt limp. after 15-20secs im ok again. Ive tried to stop sneezing before i do but dont seem to work. Will make an appointment with my GP and get him to check me out.
Avatar n tn It's not, however, related to sneezing, it just sounds like a sneeze that's going inward instead of outward, that's why it's called that. Reverse sneezing is caused by a spasm of the soft palate. You can usually get them to stop it by massaging their throat and getting them to swallow. It happens in cats as well as in dogs. Gasping and coughing could be a sign of a collapsing trachea.
Avatar f tn You are also right that if I feel I can't be the best at something, I don't play. Its only now, after getting addicted to a drug that was harmful to me that I realize I have always been an addict. Thanks for the moment of lucency.
Avatar f tn I'd what's wrong with him I'm 7 weeks pregnant and since finding out its like he knows and isn't very happy about it for the last few weeks I've seen him flip from a good baby to a bad one lol good lord but the last two days have been the worst I know I may be a little short on patience because the morning sickness all darn day but god for the pass two nights he hasn't been sleeping like normal I normally put him down after 8 sometimes 11 if I let stay up a while longer but he always goes right
Avatar n tn he can't smell anything either. The other thing that comes to mind is a tumor. I think I would pick the ladder of the two.
Avatar n tn What I experienced was lots of the body aches, constant headaches, and burning, runny nose with constant sneezing (and I am not a sneezer.) What I found is that my body told me when it was time to taper down more and in 4 days I went to 3/4 of a pill for about three days, then to 1/2 a pill for about three days and went through major headaches for a couple of days and now it's been three weeks and I had my last 1/4 of a pill two days ago.
Avatar m tn I ran out of my vicodin yesterday morning, been the worst I've had for running out early and can't be filled till nov 2nd....I have the neurontin I was recently prescribed which is helping with the pain and part of the WD symptoms which usually start within 24 hours for myself personally. My guts are hurting, constant runny nose, and sneezing but no other normal WD aches and pains like normal.
Avatar n tn You HAVE to stop doing this. You will not be enjoying ANY high in jail. You need to find something else that gives you the rush that calling in your own scripts is giving you. Take a long run. Ride a rollercoaster. Addiction is a shape-shifting demon & the only outcome is a bad outcome. The sooner you realize this, the closer you'll be to recovery. It'd really break my heart to see anyone here get into more trouble than were already in by substituting one form of addiction for another.
Avatar f tn you can stop treatment after 6 months(observation is needed off the tratment period)... but you still need to monitor you ALT/AST and HBV DNA tests... One more Question: when your ALT/AST are high(before your treatment) did u feel any symptoms(abdormimal discomfort/yellow urine)?
Avatar n tn I can be sitting calmly studying (not stressing) and suddenly can't breathe, or running and just can't get enough air. It's not the out-of-shape gasping, it's that no matter how deeply or often I take a breath my lungs just won't take enough oxygen out of it. If it happens on the treadmill I check my heart rate and it's relatively normal.
Avatar n tn I could be fine for weeks and then a day like to day an hour after I wake up I can't stop sneezing and my nose is running. I have a netty pot and that does not seem to work as of late. Benadryl only makes me sleepy and claritin does nothing for me. and now I get these really bad sinus pains in my head that are only alleviated with a few days of the nyquil sinus medicine. I only feel good when I lay down...and I usually have to do that because of the benadryl What can I do?
233488 tn?1310696703 As a generalization return to golf and tennis would be allowed by most surgeons after 7-10 days. There is a major risk of eye injury in racquet sports and your husband MUST wear safety sports glasses for his tennis game. (I have seen eyes blinded from tennis injuries). Quite some time back a survey was taken of retina surgeons about letting their patients return to full activities after retinal detachment surgery (much more extensive than what your husband had).
1234317 tn?1278278197 In any event, I'm exhausted and still feeling a little nauseous this morning. I also can't stop sneezing...maybe I'm just coming down with the flu. Either way, I feel like crap :( Sick to my stomach, sneezing, sore throat, sleepy. YUCK!
Avatar n tn We suggest patients take it easy at home for 48 hours after the embryo transfer , after which we encourage them to resume work, so they can keep themselves gainfully occupied. This is actually more for their peace of mind, rather than because it changes the outcome. I always tell patients that if resting helped to increase pregnancy rates by even 1%, we'd happily keep them in hospital for even 15 days after the transfer ! There is a difference between transfer and implantation !
Avatar n tn It is true and it was a haoorible experiance for me and my Husband, but after my daughter was finaly born I bled non stop. I was told that my uterus had been to badly dammages during her birth and after non stop period like bleeding for 8 mos the OBGYN informed me that my only option was a hysterectomy. I was devistated but went through it, {I still am greaving and want a baby}.
544292 tn?1268886268 I had to use my hands and arms to get up out of bed. My body has been pushed as far as it will go. So after trying all my best tricks (aminos, coffee, food, vitamins, water) I finally stopped the struggle and called in sick for work. Tomorrow will be a busier day anyhow. I've called in alot this month and last obviously because the taper made me sick and then cold turkey made me sicker. My coworker asked me if I wanted her to stop by my house with pain killers. Um. YES! But no.
Avatar f tn This discussion is related to Problems after bowel resection. In February 2006 I had an emergency bowel resection. For no apparent reason, a large portion of my small intestine had twisted and the blood supply to my intestine had been cut off and died. About 40% of my small intestine (ileum and ileocecal valve) had to be removed. For the next 2-3 months I had horrible diarrhea after everything I ate. Within one week I went from 135 lbs. to 115 lbs.
Avatar f tn They say if you're going to Hyperstimulate you will do so a few days after retrieval. Well, my bloating, etc....just got worse and worse after retrieval. I really thought they were going to cancel my transfer. Luckily, it didn't get too bad, but progressively kept getting worse AFTER my transfer. It's been a rough week, BUT, yesterday I started feeling better. I've had more IVs and blood this week than everything else combined! I'm still having cramps, but they're definitely mild.
Avatar n tn Last year I had an ablation of the lining of my uterus. The dr. told me that I could'nt get pregnant. Over a year later, I am pregnant and scared to death. I have been reading up on ablation, and have came across nothing but "you should'nt get pregnant after an alation, because it's high risk for the mother and baby". I do not know how far along I am, but I believe about 4 mths already. I go to the dr.
