Let me first say that I had a sore throat/stuffy nose about 2 weeks ago and took some Halls cough drops every 2 hours as directed for about a week. I had a mini canker sore on my lip but that went away and now i have another mini canker sore on my lip but that's not an issue. I believe these canker sores are from the cough drops. I'm pretty sure I read that these cough drops can cause the canker sores. My main issue is now I have this painful bump in the back of my throat/mouth/tongue.
I DON'T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE, BUT I'M FEELING SICK, LAST WEEK I HAVE RHINITITIS WITH SWOLLEN NOSE AND POST-NASAL DRIP , HEADACHES, CANKER SORE, NOW I'M HAVING CLOGGED HEARS MY TEMP IS 95.5F. I THINK I HAVE A SWOLLEN LYMPH ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY NECK MY NOSE STILL BOTHER ME AND STILL CANKER SORES.... I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO....
some neck pain, shoulder pain, leg pain here and there..
Just to confirm is oral herpes is inside the mouth or outside the mouth or both. Because my girlfriend has canker sores and we both recently noticed that we might have yeast infection. She doesn't seem to have genital herpes but she is concern. Because she did give me oral sex while she had a canker sore or because since we are both infected but we didn't know at all at the time perhaps she got the canker sore from giving me oral.
From time to time I get a canker sore - they are mostly located on or under my tongue. I once had one on my upper gum. I noticed the stinging white patch on the inside of my lower lip about 5 days ago. I was sure until today that it was a canker sore. My boyfriend looked at it and said it doesn't really look like a canker sore, and I think he's right. It's not circular, more oval but not a perfect oval (it's kind of jagged).
i also have one more question what is the difference between a cold sore and a canker sore. From time to time i will get a sore underneath my tongue or on my inside lip but i would have to pull down my lip in order to see it. Its usually red around and white in the center. I thought cold sores had to be outside of the lip like on the lips or near the nose. Also can u get hsv orally in the throat?
Then I started getting a very runny nose and I developed a nice size canker sore on my top gum and I also lost 3 lbs, so exactly a month after the exposure I went and had another rapid HIV test and it also came back negative. I have never had a canker sore and I rarely ever get sick so of course I am scared. since I had to rapid HIV test within a month of the exposure I did not know how accurate it would be since I know they tell you to get tested three months after.

My dentist made an adjustment to the denture when he heard my complaint of pain but he didn't tell me the canker sore was caused by the denture rubbing when i chew. Problem is, ever since I started the antibiotics my mouth has become more and more some (not centeralized anywhere, just very general spread out pain) and now I have what looks like small canker sores around my gums and on the border of my teeth and my gums. I don't think its an infected tooth or anything becuase I wasn't having any issues before the sinus infection/antibiotics and the pain is spread all throughout my mouth.
The pain in my groin went away after about a week and a half and the fatigue was about two weeks. I still have the pain and discomfort in my underarms and dry stuffy nose. The pain in my underarms would go away if I changed deodorant but come back a few days later. It would also go away if I did not use any or only have mild discomfort if I would use it twice a week instead of every day. Around the end of July I bought a Home Access HIV-1 test and it came back negative.
Hello. I have recurrent cold sores and have a Famvir prescription for this. Two weeks ago, I felt and saw redness, lumpiness and then a whitish sore that I associate with cold sores and hurriedly bolted down 1500mg of Famvir. But the sore/lesion seems to have been on the inside of my lip (the moist inner mouth), and not on my skin. Stupidly I didn't think of this til later. I think, in my panic, I just went for the meds as the easy solution without thinking.
Two weeks later I had flu like symptoms that included sore throat, a canker sore, stomach pain, loss of groin hair, weight lost. NO fever; no swollen lymph nodes. I went for an HIV antibody test 8 to 9 weeks later ( possible exposure was on May 25, 2002 and I got test at the end of July and went for results in early-mid August 2002) it was non-reactive-Negative. I was told to go back in 3 months for another test but I never got tested again.
