At night my arm and leg twitches and sometimes feels completely dead, I also suffer with intermittent lower back pain, constipation and slight depression.

However, on the morning of December 26 he had an incident which again, they were unable to explain and which has left us (his family) worried. He woke up early and went downstairs to make a drink, brought it back up and sat with his wife in bed and drank it. He was perfectly normal at this stage. He fell back asleep and woke again about 30 mins later. When he visited the lavatory, he came back out and within a minute felt terribly sick and looked a horrible color.

Hi Jon, Thanks for your reply. I have not heard Benicar, so i'll google abt it later. I am recently put on candesartan but I have not taken it yet. I guess I m kinda scared of the side effects.

In about 2hrs I noticed numbness n my hands and legs, chills, and severe lower back pain...This is the second day.. I still have numbness and if I am laying down I am fine, but standing or sitting I need to keep my hands up, and shift from one leg to the other....Could I have had an allergic reation to my meds?

I get that dry cough too. I don't take an ACE inhibitor though, I don't think. Just Lopressor, Dyazide/Maxzide, Lipitor and aspirin for the heart issues. For me it started a couple of years ago one summer after pushing myself too hard. I start coughing out of the blue to the point of either just about passing out or vomiting mucus. Urgg My chest hurts and feels sunken in, pounds very hard and quivers sort of and then I'm fine till it happens again.

It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.

Atacand HTC [candesartan + hydrochlorothiazide] may raise blood sugars. Consult with your pharmacist regarding Atacand drug interactions with ANY and ALL drugs/supplements/herbs/vitamins you are taking which may elevate blood sugars. If none exists consult with your doctor on switching to another bp medication.

Personally, I take valsartan, but my friends have experienced similar success (or better) with candesartan, telmisartan, losartan (although this drug is surmountable and thus theoretically not the best one to take), irbesartan, and, for ACE inhibitors, perindopril.

weeks and for the past two weeks have been having horrible back pain...Ive taking Tylenol ES but doesnt seem to help much...The pain kinda makes me want to vomit & radiates down to my legs, It makes me depressed and moody...Is This Normal? Is there any solutions to back pain like this?

It is very easy for me to pull back muscles since I started hurting. It never goes away, and I either have days with back pain or days with severe back pain. On the severe days if im working or doing any moving at all the majority of my back goes numb. As a kid i dont recall ever having any popping or cracking going on, on my back. But if i move at all now it sounds like a pack of firecrackers going off.

Am a ftm 10weeks along nd i had posted before i have not experienced any symptoms yet. Until last night i had a back pain on my lower back nd it was very uncunfyy to even lay on that side even wene i got up to pee. Has any one experience this? Nd its only at night?

Why is it that doctors do not go above and beyond the call of duty? I went to see a back specialist he looked at my CT scan and report and said that I was not a surgical candidate and ushered me out of his office right away, he knew by looking at me that I was in pain because I could hardly walk, if he was a back specialist why didn't he give me something for my back?

for when my belly hurts I hug it and wrap my legs around it and it relieves my pain and when its my back i do the same, I place my body pillow on my back and it makes wonders:)

I'm 28 weeks +1 and I'm having some back pain.

Try putting an ice pack on it for 20 mins then off and repeat if you need to thats the only thing that helps my back pain.
