Avatar n tn My doctor and OB now tell me that I really can't take a risk again and that I should be blessed with the one i have so i won't be having anymore (unless i'm stubborn enough to not listen again). I hope this answered your questions.
Avatar n tn and it is an inflamation of the ligaments and tendons where your ribs connect to the sternum and it can feel like or hurt in your back sometimes i get it full upper body and it feels like a pressure through my front and back... this pain can be minimal and it can be as severe as heart attack pain. This thing is like tendinitis on your ribs... if you ever had tendinitis anywhere else you know the best thing for it is rest and the pain will be worse when moving and less when being still...
Avatar n tn pdf And just google it for other articles and medical publications. This is lumped together with Fibromyalgia much of the time, which can exist in conjunction with MPD, but is most definitely different, but many people recognize the name "Fibromyalgia". Avatar n tn I spoke with them a few times and they felt that my sinuses needed to be taken care of and the meds for anxiety- well, I quit them and felt a bit better. Then I was off to ENT. My first thought was- what the heck is going on- I have this bad sinus infection , on meds for that for 20 days- it never goes away- was told to take celexa- (which I took at the same time as the anti-biotic)- and then started having attacks, tingling in my fingers and toes, and then I am being sent to a pyschologists?
Avatar m tn I too have this...
Avatar n tn I have fullness under my ears and jaw pain. It comes and goes and can be one side or the other or both. Sometimes it is just uncomfortable and sometimes very painfull. Because I have a LOT of allergies I've always assumed that was what it was. I usually feel a little better after I take a benadryl and aspirin. However I would love this problem to stop occuring. I was given a nose spray by the allergist and this seems to help as well but not completly.
Avatar n tn My vision can be corrected 20/150 in the morning and later on be 20/200 or 20/300, etc... it oscillates. I have migraine also. Debilitating ones. However, since I have been on this journey, I have discovered that there exists migraine WITHOUT HEADACHE! My vestibulo-ocular reflex is also severely impaired, and if you get an ENG, the doctor will find that also. If you have not had a brain MRI, I would also suggest that you have one. I am struggling to drive.
Avatar n tn I think it really needs a good therapist that can read the language of the body to see what bone should be adjusted and how. And if you don't like the "hard" chiropractic adjustments one can do the same job with slow mobilization with little movement and force. Another thing I don't think any of you have considered is the chakras. It sounds new-age but they are a reality, they can be dysfunctional just like the rest of the body and therefore they also needs attention.

Avatar n tn You should contact a specialist (gastro-intestinal), and please be sure to drink water, for the diarrhea and sweating can dangerously dehydrate you. It may also be the case of why you get so dizzy. Another thing I found that helped was being sure to lay down in a fetal position after the pain subsides, though I'm sure there is a much better way to deal with it. I do hope what I said helps you, take care.

Avatar n tn Can this itching be controlled by taking a antihistimine with Wellburtin and also could taking Pepcid AC (otc strength) with the Wellbutrin play any part in causing the reaction? Thank you for any help you may have to offer.
Avatar m tn Every day is the day I'm gonna go cold turkey. Ahhhhh ****. Seriously, I could be sitting there doing some work and only taken 4 and come night fall, i lie to myself that i'll pop 10 today.. and today only and tomorrow i'll taper down to 3... It's like i reward my tapering by allowing myself to take an assload of pills. I took all of my pills to work and stashed... It's so DRAINING to get up in the morning, but it forces me out of the house to get my dose for the day...
Avatar n tn Something HAS to be done for us .... or we'll just get together and start a riot! No .. not really .. but hey .. you can put a man on the moon ...????? OK .. now that I've sprouted off, and put in my 2 cents worth, I'll tell you about me: I'm 48 .. have had pvc's and pac's with bouts of rapid heartbeat, for over 15 years. They were minor at first, but have gotten worse over the years.... coming and going. I have had ALL the tests!
Avatar n tn I am trying to be patient and trust and believe that God will help me through all of my daily trials and tribulations. I hope that perhaps this will help someone out there. I would be glad to hear from anyone who has anything similar to my situation or who would just like to write a note I would appreciate it.
Avatar f tn Of course we share of half the responsibility to learn about the virus and what treatment will be like. If anything, so we can recognize side effects and do something about them before they spiral. 1. Not sure how long you have been on your AD (antidepressant) but it takes a while to be regulated on them t where they "kick in" 2. It seems like knowledge might be one of the best things to allay your anxiety.
Avatar f tn After years of counselling and knowing other mentally ill people I thing there are some simple relationship dont's - stay away from people who want to fix you, stay away from people who are more interested in the disease than the person, if someone seems too good to be true be carefull as often they can be and most of all be open, honest and yourself with people - I have a friend of mine who has BPII who hid it from her boyfriend until after they married and I watched it destroy the marriage -

Avatar n tn I also notice it when I am eating?? It is REALLY frustrating and can be embarassing to be gasping for a deep breath when you are out and about with friends or whatever. I do not believe that it is all related to stress. I am a school teacher, and have not worked since May 31, so my stress level is lower now than it ever is. Does anyone have any answers here? It seems like an aweful lot of us are out here suffering the same symptoms in silence.
Avatar n tn There are certain drugs including benzodiapams, barbituates and alcohol that can be dangerous to stop cold turkey. Vicodin and opiates in general are not in that class. Should someone see a doctor for a drug problem?...In an ideal world that would be by far the best way to handle it. Unfortunately where addiction is concerned, honesty is not always the best policy. Most doctors do not want to deal with an addicition problem.
Avatar n tn any news on what these smells may be?.....also my lips and nose burn when the smells are strong.....
Avatar n tn In fact, the weight gain is making me depressed. I would rather be thin and anxious than fat and chilled. I am in the process of tapering off it and and I feel like ****. It is horrible. I wish that others knew the truth of this horrible drug. The positive of drug is that it took away my anxiety and I felt great despite getting fat! So, I choose to be anxious than fat... what a shame. I guess all meds for anxiety do this. Wish the doctors told us all the truth before we took it.
Avatar n tn I am on cipro right now which is definitely not an antibiotic prescribed for sinusitis, and dealing with some wicked dizzyness. I am hopeful that this will work and you can be assured that I will get a repeat culture after the completion of my course of antibiotics. If the infection is not completely gone, I might need IV antibiotics....I also read that Serratia-caused meningitis is 80% fatal in most cases. Can you imagine if for some reason my infection spread to my brain?
Avatar n tn It was better when i was taking nadalol - beta blocker. but i don't want to be on beta blockers forever and the doc said they can cause diabetes if you take them for a long time.
