Avatar f tn He has said i can split a 25mg in half to start out cause im scared to get side effects all over again. I do also take xanax 0.5 mg three times a day too. I would just like to know if its likely i will feel side effects all over again ??? My therapist says probably not cause my bodies use to it but im still so very scared but this anxiety is so bad too. Dont know what to do cause i know i should do wat my dr tells me but at the same time my mind is freaking me out ?????
Avatar f tn Hi. Can you tell me how long it took you to get to 150mg of zoloft? I have been on Zoloft for over eight weeks now. My doc has me going up so very slowly, 25 first four weeks 50 the next four weeks. Just went up to 62.5 four days ago. Anxiety is diminishing very slowly, but still bad enough. Take clonopin to help. Just want to start feeling better and I think a higher dose is needed, but how soon can I start going up again?
Avatar f tn I can tell you 1 think splitting you meds to 2 dose don't work you take them once a day , otherwise you get only the morning dose working and top that up with the night dose.
Avatar m tn I have also taken the 150 mg of zoloft and I break the 50mg piece in half and then split that piece in half. I have started this for 3 days. Is this too much or tool little. Can both drugs be done without sending over the river? My family wants me back, I feel so buzzed out on so much zoloft and so sedated on Klonopin that I sit in a chair and feel no motivation. I miss my kids and my life and they are about doe with me so I really need your help please.
305180 tn?1279720347 but if at ALL you feel unsure...or seriously feel the thoughts may be more than that...and you may be in danger...don't mess around with help immediately, okay? Hang in there...keep posting here...let us know how you're feeling! We're here for you..
1211508 tn?1343083205 Are yous like extremely brief in nature (like a split second) and do they come out of nowhere? Also have you talked to your Dr. about it and does he/she believe it's anxiety related? I appreciate you taking the time to explain this to me. I also want to wish you continued luck in your fight against anxiety. Are you taking anything for it? I'm going to start taking Zoloft or Klonopin or both.
445263 tn?1208805016 My doctor is so headstrong about increasing my dose that he will not even prescribe me a 50mg pill so that I can split it in half anymore, let alone simply prescribe me a 25mg pill. He will only give me a prescription for 100mg pill because he wants me to take at least 50mg and I can therefore only split it (accurately) in half. Come on, is this drug pushing or what? I am currently looking for another doctor covered by insurance in the area.
Avatar f tn Welbutrin alone (in most cases) will not work well enough if your depression is in the moderate to severe level. No one says you have to go back to an SSRI like Zoloft. You could always try an SNRI such as Effexor or Pristiq.
Avatar f tn But they would not and insisted I take Dexamethasone (same sort of drug), so I agreed and they called it in. For three days, I've taken just half of their dose of 0.5, adding in a bit of Zoloft. Keeping in mind the ratio of the Hydrocort and Dexameth was about right, 25mg and .5 respectively. It's been three nights of taking it, along with a bit of Zoloft, and I THINK I am gradually feeling better, a little happier, legs aren't heavy, but am dizzy and teary.
214901 tn?1227571155 Because I take Armour and it contains T3, I split the dose taking half in the morning and half around 3PM. I have tried taking it all at once and didn't notice any difference, except that it elevated my free t4 levels for some odd reason. I went back to taking it twice a day and have perfect midrange free t4 levels and high in range free t3 levels. For those on T4, taking it at night sometimes works better because there's no worry about not taking it on an empty stomach.
Avatar f tn // You need to find a doctor who knows how to diagnose it, or exclude it. Most doctors aren't aware that it can be as bad as you have it. Try an Oregon Lyme support group to see if they have any suggestions for you. Steroids make it worse. Magnesium supplements (also epsom salt baths) and B12 injections (or sublingual) can help you feel a bit better. You are welcome to post on the Lyme forum if you'd like more info.
544292 tn?1268886268 Day 22 Cold Turkey Tramadol ... I woke up HAPPY. I used to wake up happy all the time, before the Tramadol. Waking up happy is good. Then I tried to move. I had to use my hands and arms to get up out of bed. My body has been pushed as far as it will go. So after trying all my best tricks (aminos, coffee, food, vitamins, water) I finally stopped the struggle and called in sick for work. Tomorrow will be a busier day anyhow.
394687 tn?1290924440 You forgot to mention you are also on Mercette BC pills in the am - due to not being in the change, active with un-fixed hubby and cysts on uterous and ovaries. After midnight i revert to the third party...don't ask what happens at 2.
Avatar n tn Belle, I feel your pain. I have been there myself but it was over 120 days ago. The difference between myself & you is that I was too "proud" to express my true feelings. I want you to remember this even though it's been said a hundred time or so before: IT WILL GET BETTER!!! Now the question I know that you probably just said aloud is, "WHEN?" I can't answer that. We're all different.

Dristan Nasal Spray, Neosynephren, Vicks Nasal Spray, Sudafed, etc. and others containing ephedrine or pnenypropanolamine. Over the counter appetite suppressants which contain propanolamine. Avatar n tn Perhaps in my case I wasn't real clear about how much Levoxol I was taking, but I believe they need to impress on you how strong that medication can be. And to be accurate in reporting what you are taking.
Avatar n tn No, you cannot become addicted that quick. Also, I cannot believe that you are having that many side effects from 20 mgs. You really need to work with your doctor and find something for your anxiety. You have been talking about this for some time now. Good luck.
Avatar n tn does the doctor take you off of the meds or can you lose a little more weight as long as you stay in the normal range?
Avatar n tn You're better off without them and if you have any doubts about that, stick around here and we'll help you through as best we can. You can do it, you're in a good position, and I don't mean to make it sound easy, but your intake is not very high. My personal opinion is that your withdrawal will not be all that bad, although that is a relative thing. Taper down or just quit and pick a weekend you know you can spare for two days of the flu basically.
Avatar f tn Allegra, Zyrtec or loratadine. I was on 12.5 zoloft for 2 weeks and tapering up to 25 mg (split another 12.5 in half so 3/4 a pill then one whole 25 mg. I have to do this slowly as I am super sensitive to meds. Thanks for any help. Plus I eventually need to taper down my ativan when I level on the zoloft.
Avatar n tn But the interesting thing to me is that I could never get rid of his stress tic, all the supplements I was giving him did nothing for it, until I gave in this drink, apparently lemons peel helps the body absorb nutrients.. You can give fish oil if you arn't a vegetarian, I am so I give flax, Fish oil is a stronger consentrate of omaga 3.. Once again good luck, and don't give up, or listen to the experts. I don't think they know a damn thing.. Godspeed..
Avatar m tn yes, it can, and it can be extreme. I get it all over. even in my brain. 2. Can regular blood tests tell if you have diabetes? I even was checked for billirubin *which is about the liver* and they told me everything was fine and I think your liver would be messed up if you had diabetes right? The doctors must have checked me 8 times over the last 2 years for diabetes. negative every time 3. Does anyone here that has anxiety attacks ever feel extremely weird and not real? yep.
Avatar m tn but I wanted to at least tell you the above. Hang in there....we're all here for you...and you are not crazy, even though I know you feel like you are.
Avatar m tn Maybe by next summer I'll have some nice plants established. I hope I can stay here after I graduate in May. I'm petrified at the idea of trying to get an accounting job. My GPA feels incredibly lacking strength at a 2.8. I do remember, as I mentioned in group yesterday, being at the community college before this... and my class advisor telling me that he thought I should drop out of school and find some sort of trade or factory to work for. I think I had around a 1.8 back then.
Avatar n tn Maybe you could split them in half. Call a local pharmacy and they call tell you whether or not you can split them. Also I would recommend contacting your doctor. There are many antidepressants out there that can treat anxiety and not make you feel so horrible. Be strong.
Avatar n tn It's a personal decision, a difficult personal decision that just about everyone here (but Forseegood LOL ) has made. (Sorry, couldn't help that one). If you split the page in two columns you could fill both with reasons for and against treating geno 1's with little or no liver damage. In fact, a very good debate on this with Dr. Gish and Dr. ??? on the Clinical Options web site. It's obvious your decision was the right one for you and that's what's important.
