can u sneeze with ur eyes open

Hi Guys I've really suffered latley with the dreaded lergie, a cold, runny nose, fatigue, shakes, coughing, sneezing, and i wondered if you could describe what happens when you cough or sneeze, i've read that this can be a sure sign of symptomatic chiari but i don't think i can tell whether the headaches and pressure are just from the cold, or maybe they are enhanced because of chiari as well?

Okay, how many tried to sneeze with eyes open, just to see if you could do it? Gotta admit, I did it...... I can/do, sometimes, sneeze with my eyes open; it all depends on what's causing my sneeze and how violent it is.

I use to get awful headaches when I laughed....at times I still get one but nothing like b4 surgery..... Do u know if u have ne of the related conditions I mentioned?

ok this is kinna weird but ive been in and out of addiction like 3 time and im not proud of it in fact im ashamed of myself. but it is kinna weird that everytime u r on opiate u,never sneeze,and seem like when u r clean sneezing is like a sign that u r clean, anyone with the same sign?

I am a doctor caring for a patient that was in a car accident and is hospitalized. Yesterday i cut myself shaving under my chin and the patient sneezed right in my mouth, eyes, and (especially my cut). Its was a thick sneeze. Do i go for pyp or test ?

It happen to me im 22 weeks now and its gone from what i read is that ur muscles.

So basically I somehow feel that my not being able to keep my eyes open, not sleeping just closed eyes, really has something to do with my sinuses so if anyone can actually understand my scattered thinking and has similar problem or any advice please let me know.... Thank You so much....

last night there was no spinning or anything...and nothing happened when i closed my eyes?? so idk what it is now?? like why it only happens sometimes...soo id think its vertigo or bppv b/c it isnt constant??

I would get pain when I moved, cough or sneeze.. But you can always call doctor to be on the safe side.

Any time I walk into a bright light or sunlight, I will sneeze, often more than once. If I feel a sneeze coming on, I can look into a light bulb and sneeze almost 100% of the time. It's kind of nice, I never have sneezes that "die" leaving me hanging.

Actually its very bad to hold on your sneezes. Not bc ur pregnant but bc it sends the bacteria from ur sneeze into ur brain & u can get meningitis. My son came down with it & the dr told us to never, ever hold in a sneeze.

It could be round ligament pains. When u sneeze u move ur uterus and that causes the ligament s that hold it to stretch. U will feel these little pains every once in a while throught ur whole pregnancy. I used to get them when I laughed.. it s u c k e d because I laugh a lot. Lol.

11wks here and same thing happens. I sneeze so loud and strong that really shakes my whole belly! So I learned a trick. If u know ur going to sneeze, tighten your mid section like you're holding your breath..then sneeze. This has really helped me a lot.

That's good news bigbelly3. I'm happy for u. As long ur water doesn't break u should be fine. Continue to drink water. I had a bad case of coughs and running nose at 13 weeks and it continued for a while and I found myself peeing on myself. So I guess its normal. Different thing but same situation.

Im scared because I dont know whats going on with me and I can barely take care of my 2 year old son. If anyone can help me in any way please! Im trying everything I can to get help,I even wrote ellen degenerous to try and get her to sponser me.

Hey, is this ur first pregnancy? I know with my first pregnancy I never had that problem until I got pregnant with my 2nd. I know I didn't leak when I sneeze but I did when I threw up. Panty liners r ur best friend when ur pregnant lol.

and i dont know are u guys on legal terms or just separated cause if ur on legal terms u can talk to ur lawyer so that he talks to him directly about having her girl friend sleeping over in the same bed. he might advice him to buy an extra bed or have her sleep on a different room.

Just make sure u have good friends around u so when u say oohh i think i just peed my pants they laugh and not give u disgusting looks lol do ur pelvic floor exercises and carry a spare pair of pants lol

do a pelvic floor exercise at the same time as ur sneeze or cough nd that can help stop u peeing, thats what I do but I did have to wear panty liners for a week the other month because I was sick n every coughing fit made me pee!
