But the past few days, some hives have started to come back. I have been taking benadryl along with the xyzal as needed. I was wondering if I could take 2 xyzal a day instead o 1. The only other medication that I am on is ortho cyclin birth control. Would I be okay if I took a 5 mg of xyzal early in the morning and then another in the late afternoon? Thanks in advance!
No one can figure out what it is. I have taken everything from Benadryl, Xyzal, Zrytec, Singulair, Claritin, and Hydroxyzine. Nothing has worked. They have done blood work for lupus and many other blood tests. All came back negative. They have started taking me off one drug at a time, now I am only on Xyzal, Singulair and 2 Hydroxyzine HCL 25 daily. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do or suggest what my doctor may need to test for. The only known allergy I have is fish.
This is my fifth pregnancy and i habe had a cold with every one. Ive taken at least one of these at some point. I can tell you my children have all come out healthy. These medications are class b which is completely safe. I was told class c isnt even considered unsafe. It just means there has been less study done on those certain meds. and how they will effect your baby during pregnancy.
Try some be Benadryl. I know it's not specifically a pain med but when I worked in OB we gave Benadryl for a lot of things- helps you and your muscles relax.
Hi. I have been suffering since June, over 2 months. Last November I had endoscopic sinus surgery to clear my sinuses and deviated seputum fixed. I was great for 7 months! Then in June I got a sinus headache and my life has not been the same. I have been to the family doctor, the ENT, allergies and now I am going to a neurologist. My symptoms are burning sensation in cheeks leading to ears and teeth.
He said if itching goes away after four days of using the XYZAL, then I will try Niaspin and see how my body will react.
Now, after using XYZAL for two days, my body is still itching, there is no diffrence yet. I got two more pills of XYZAL. I'll wait two more days and I'll publish my comment about this medicine.

i have started a new job about 2 months ago and it did not start untill then. It was not real bad at first, but annoying now.It started on my arms and now its all over my body . There is a rash on my belly, just itch. Since then,i have been using cortizone-10,1%hydrocortisone,gold bond,and took benedryl but the itching and rash has not went away . My whole body seems to itch, especially my arms and belly.When i take baths i itch in the water more .
Friday night out of nowhere I just got attacked with sickness. I thought it was just a cold, but now I can tell it's a sinus infection. I've been taking what cold medicine I know is safe hoping it would help a little, but it doesn't seem to be helping at all. Anyone know of anything I can do to get some relief? I haven't slept well at all the last two nights and I need some rest.
