Hey ladies, I'm having trouble sleeping & I was wondering; what can I take? or can I take anything?

My doctor told me benadryl is safe to take.

Try some be Benadryl. I know it's not specifically a pain med but when I worked in OB we gave Benadryl for a lot of things- helps you and your muscles relax.

Friday night out of nowhere I just got attacked with sickness. I thought it was just a cold, but now I can tell it's a sinus infection. I've been taking what cold medicine I know is safe hoping it would help a little, but it doesn't seem to be helping at all. Anyone know of anything I can do to get some relief? Oxy withdrawls are tough, like the worst flu that someone could ever have. But while they may make you feel like your going to die they're not fatal unless your boyfriend has a pre-existing condition like a seizure disorder or high blood pressure. That takes alot of strength to hold his pills and only give him one when he begs for more. Alot of strength. Maybe you could give us a little more info so we can help you better. Is there a usual amount he mainly takes?

Tylenol, Sudafed and benadryl are all safe for colds or allergies.

Hi I'm 13 weeks and I have the same thing but with both my ears and my head hurt but I asked my Dr what I could take over the counter he said halls for the throat and robitusn md but if that doesn't help then I would have to go in and get something prescribed

Dont take zzzquil get benedryl instead is sooo much safer and it helps with sleeping. Or take tylenol pm that should help too. I have that issue myself im 34 wks. So ready for this child to come out.

You can Take benadryl and unisom. Unisom taken with vitamin b12 they actually prescribe to help with morning sickness.

I moved so new doctors and dont have a urologist yet to ask how woman deal with it in pregnancy and i do know that benadryl helped before becoming pregnant when needed as well as some crazy allergies. I've read some conflicting tips on benadryl and pregnancy and didn't read too many negative things. I was wondering if anyone has had personal experience with it? Thanks in advance!

i just pulled out the packet i got from my OB. the pregnancy safe med list says you can take the following: Plain Robitussin or Robitussin DM Sudafed Zicam Chlortrimeton Benadryl if you are having trouble sleeping. and even tylenol PM (since benadryl is the sleeping agent in it.

Im weening off vic's and norcos, i CAN NOT get any sleep... Is it ok to take a benadryel to help me get a nights rest?

Yes I have, but even with them, I can not stand more than 5 minutes. I am unable to walk anymore without something to lean on, so I dont know. I have 3 herniated discs, spinal stenosis, arthritis rated severe and 2 bone spurs. I also have nerve impingement near 2 of the discs, one mild, one severe.

I normally take benadryl for allery and to help with sleep but beware that in WD it can really make restless body/legs worse ! I learned that the hard way.
